Psychiatric Drug Use of German Shooter Confirmed: Kretschmer Withdrawing from Depression Treatment

(NaturalNews) Yesterday we reported on the recent school shooting in Germany, emphasizing the link between psychiatric medications and acts of extreme violence (http://www.naturalnews.com/025826.html).
From the facts that were known yesterday, it was already apparent that the shooter, Tim Kretschmer, was either on psychiatric medications or withdrawing from them. His behavior and choice of targets (including a worker at a psychiatric medical school) pointed strongly towards his use of antidepressant drugs, which are known to cause violent thoughts and behavior.
Behind the scenes, I already knew from an industry source that Kretschmer had undergone psychiatric “treatment,” but I could not name that source and thus chose not to publish that fact until it could be further corroborated.
But today, the Associated Press confirms it. In a story widely published across the ‘net (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090312…), police investigator Siegfried Mahler states on the record that the shooter (Kretschmer) “underwent several treatment sessions for depression at a psychiatric clinic” and was “…prescribed a session of outpatient therapy, which he never began.”

Thus, the shooter was on psychiatric medications and then quit using them. This created a classic antidepressant withdrawal crisis which is exactly what leads to extreme acts of violence against self or others. As we reported in our previous story, virtually every school shooting that has taken place in the last two decades was carried out by those who either take psychiatric medications or are attempting to quit them.
Why can’t the media connect the dots?
The mainstream media, as usual, remains mystified about why so many teens would pick up deadly weapons and kill their classmates. They seem to willingly ignore the truth about the rather obvious links between antidepressant drug use and acts of extreme violence. It’s almost as if there is a willing conspiracy by the media to apologize for the pharmaceutical industry and avoid mentioning anything that might implicate Big Pharma’s drugs in these school shootings.
When will the ignorant people in our world finally realize the obvious? That when you artificially alter a teenager’s brain chemistry, you also change his behavior. And interjecting synthetic chemicals into a human brain instead of relying on nutrition and natural medicine that’s fundamentally compatible with human biology, you’re going to get some rather nasty results.
The deaths of the people killed in these school shootings rests solely on the shoulders of psychiatry, an industry of death.
Blaming the guns, but not the chemical child abusers?
Germany, much like America, is reacting to this great tragedy in precisely the wrong way, banning guns instead of banning the chemical child abuse (”psychiatric treatment”) by psychiatrists who bear the real responsibility for these acts of violence in the first place.
If you take away the guns, you will not solve this problem. Violence can be carried out with knives, or arson, or explosives or any number of other tools of destruction that can be easily accessed by a teenager in virtually any country.
The problem with teens today is not, simplistically, that they merely have access to too many guns, but that their minds are being poisoned by psychiatrists who conspire with the drug companies to profit from the pain and suffering of others.
Before the age of ADHD disease mongering, Ritalin drugging and SSRI “treatment” of children and teens, high school students in places like Texas routinely brought their guns to school. They actually kept rifles and handguns in their school lockers (this is not an exaggeration, it’s an historical fact).
Despite the easy access to so many guns, nobody got shot. Ever wonder why? Because they weren’t all drugged up on psych meds, of course!
School shootings are, without question, a direct effect of drugging teens with psychiatric medications. And unless we stop chemically abusing our children with these dangerous prescription medications, you can bet that the school shootings will continue.

The innocent casualties of this war include schoolchildren, teachers, parents and even the trigger pullers. We are witnessing a massacre, and it is being pushed forward every day, in virtually every country, by psychiatrists whose own arrogance and greed erases whatever human compassion they may have once held.
There is a War for Profit underway in psychiatric medicine today, and the battleground is now littered with the bloodied bodies of the girls and boys and teachers whose lives were stolen from them by an insidious medical-sounding front group known as “psychiatry.”

These are films the psych industry hopes you never see. The last thing they want is the truth to get out about how much blood is on their hands. Those parents who lost their children in this shooting should be marching on their local psychiatric treatment centers, demanding the arrest and prosecution of the so-called doctors who prescribed these dangerous psychotropic chemicals to the shooter who pulled the trigger.
Kretschmer is a victim of chemical child abuse
It is almost certainly not mere coincidence that this German shooter specifically targeted and killed a psychiatric worker. Perhaps somewhere in the back of his subconscious mind, hidden behind the pain and mental torture of psychtropic drug withdrawal, there was a part of his mind that remembered who had harmed him, and he sought to do something about it as his last willful act before being completely destroyed.
Make no mistake: Kretschmer is a victim of chemical child abuse by psychiatry, and it is the psychiatrists who bear responsibility for this great tragedy. Pharmaceuticals made him into a monster by altering his brain chemistry. During his violent outrage, he was not in control of his own thoughts. It is sad that he will be labeled a mad killer when, in reality, he is merely the predictable product of a torturous pharmaceutical experiment still being carried out on millions of children around the world.
Nor is Kretschmer the last violent shooter we will see. As long as the industry of psychiatry exists, the world is an unsafe place for us all. Think about your own coworkers or peers and ask yourself, “How many of them are on psychotropic meds right now?”

It’s no surprise a psychologically unstable person seeks treatment, receives medication as part of that treatment and commits murder/suicide. They are predisposed to violent behavior. Blaming the medication is as nearsighted as blaming the gun.

Psychiatric drugs are NOT medication.
A “mentally ill” person cannot be diagnosed with any medical test. No blood test, cat scan, or any other legitimate medical test can be used in diagnosis.
If you lose a loved one, get depressed for a week or two and then go to a doctor and tell him about it, you will be prescribed “medication” to treat you. You didn’t contract any disease. You don’t need medicine. You are experiencing a normal human emotion.
Try it. Go to a doctor and tell him you’ve been sad ’cause you lost your job and have been fighting with your spouse. See what happens.
Psychiatric drugs are drugs – not medication. They mess with a persons mental state. And if a person is feeling down. The last thing you need to do is to destablize their mental state. Get an angry man drunk sometime. It makes them dangerous.
These drugs are involved in shooting after shooting. Heck, that chimp that went crazy a few weeks back – it’s owner had been feeding anti-depressants to it.
And who profits? The drug companies. At the expense of lives and the sanity of millions, the drug companies profit.

As a person that has had plenty of first hand experience with numerous drugs, I can tell you and pill that has any kind of psychological effect can make existing problems and urges more sever, they can even bring normally suppressible behaviors bubbling to the surface. Since these drugs interact with the chemical and all the thing in one’s brain, there is a very good chance that as a undesirable side effect meds can make things far worse, not better. Just as inculcations, in very rare cases, even these well proven shots can give one the disease for which one expected immunity.

Dunblane School massacre in Scotland (UK) brought the response that the powers that be wanted ie confiscation by the police of all private weapons. There’s a pattern here; Tasmania, similiar bollox, now the German gig with another ‘Manchurian Candidate’. Why don’t these people, just, FUCK OFF.

This is garbage. A more rational analysis would be that people who commit acts like this clearly have mental health problems and so it is hardly surprising to find that they are taking medication for it. Typical of the complete lack of intellectual rigour that this article displays is this sentence:

Maybe he did but there is no way of deriving that claim from the afore-going sentence. A session of outpatient therapy doesn’t mean drugs, it can mean all sorts of things. The truth is, no one know the facts yet, and even when we do we probably won’t know why he did it. I think you should stop using tragedies like this to advance your own dodgy agenda, stop ranting and grow up.

I’ve repeatedly heard Alex refer to SSRIs as being “in the psychedelic class”, and someone needs to correct him. A drug that boosts serotonin is a euphoric stimulant, not a psychedelic; serotonin reuptake inhibition is the mechanism by which cocaine and ecstasy both get their euphoric, mood-elevating properties. SSRIs are designed to provide a low-level emotionally numbing buzz that gradually builds over time, thereby avoiding the drastic “come up” that other similar recreational stimulants have. But even though the mood-altering effects of SSRIs are less pronounced than other similar recreational drugs, they still carry the same side effects of regular stimulant use- psychosis, extreme agitation, and possible violence. When someone takes SSRIs every day for years on end, then experiences psychotic withdrawal when the drug is discontinued, psychiatrists refer to this as “discontinuation syndrome”, a transparent euphemism for the drug’s mindbending physical withdrawal.

If you take a drug that artificially floods your system with a certain neurotransmitter, the brain compensates by down-regulating production of this neurotransmitter. This entails the receptors dying off. At that point, the drug taker has temporary brain damage, and discontinuation of the drug will force the person to function with the production of a major neurotransmitter severely impaired. That’s when you see people flipping out from SSRIs the most – during withdrawal. Psychiatrists will likely tell the patient that SSRI withdrawal doesn’t exist, which only exacerbates the symptoms and intensifies the patient’s sense of unreality.

To anyone who scoffs at my posts, I ask this – if SSRIs work by correcting a chemical brain deficiency, then why do they also work on people who have been through trauma? If someone is suffering due to the psychological impact of stressful events in their life, why does a drug that’s supposedly targets a physical brain abnormality work? How can fighting in Iraq or experiencing the death of a loved one give you a brain disease? That’s not how real diseases work.

But there is one counteracting effect: high serotonin levels will not only activate the postsynaptic receptors, but also flood presynaptic autoreceptors, that serve as a feedback sensor for the cell. Activation of the autoreceptors (by agonists like serotonin) triggers a throttling of serotonin production. These (slowly proceeding) neurophysiological adaptions of the brain tissue are the reason why usually several weeks of continuous SSRI use are necessary for the antidepressant effect to become fully manifested[citation needed], and why increased anxiety is a common side effect in the first few days or weeks of use.

I really don’t understand why my previous two posts were deleted, as I wasn’t criticizing Alex. I just think he should stop asserting that SSRIs are of the psychedelic class, because it isn’t true. SSRI withdrawal can cause psychosis and delusions similar to a bad psychedelic trip, but that doesn’t make the drug a psychedelic. When you make unproven statements like that, it only gives proponents of psychiatry more ammunition to claim that critics of psychiatry are uninformed.

I think the authors on some these reports guys are jr collegiate level writers if not high school, that try to add credibility to the story by conveying their personal opinion-which by the way is completely lack luster! Chalk up another murder to PharmaScum. It is beyond me how they sleep at night. Every time a mass shooting is reported in an online paper, I post the link to SSRI stories if they have a bulletin board. I would encourage others to do the same. Just connect the dots between how many drug commercials there are on the evening news and silence about the dangers of depressants. It must stop!

No, it has NOT been confirmed that Kretschmer was taking antidepressants. Sadly, it seems some can’t resist using tragedy to increase sales.
In fact the German police have made it very clear he had psychotherapy – 5 sessions in total – last year which he discontinued in September.
The first school shooting was in 1966 (University of Texas at Austin), 2 years before any antidepressant went on sale and 23 years before SSRI class antidepressants were first sold in the U.S. They have occurred at about 2 yearly intervals ever since.
Most of those taking antidepressants aren’t Americans yet school shootings elsewhere are uncommon. If it was the drugs there would be at least 3-4 times shootings in other countries for every one in America, yet the ratio is far greater in the other direction.
The most common factor linking school shooters other than having a mental illness and ready access to guns isn’t that they were taking psychotropic medications, but that they are often victims of bullying or have been ostracized by fellow students (and sometimes teachers too).
Oh, and one last point, antidepressants don’t increase serotonin levels in the brain. Or that of any other neurotransmitter.
