Refusing Full Body X-Ray Scans at the Airport

A Cryptogon reader writes about refusing the new x-ray scans:

[Name Deleted] just got back from a business trip to [City] and he said this was the first time he was requested to go through an airport’s whole body imaging scanner. He declined. The TSA person asked if he had a pacemaker, and he said no. He didn’t have to give any further reasons why he refused, and they gave him a pat-down, which he said took a long time as they had to go fetch a person to do it and made him wait. He said he was the only one at that time who refused — everyone else was going through just like good little sheeple.

The scanners will be in most airports by the end of this year, and I read that they are already at LAX… [Privacy] Read the following link, and learn to say “I opt out,” as that is the phrase TSA goons are looking to hear.
