Republican congressional recruit: ‘Enemy is infiltrating our military’

One of the Republicans’ most favored congressional candidates — a former commander at Fort Hood, Texas — said Friday that the “enemy” had infiltrated the US military after a Muslim Army psychiatrist allegedly massacred at least 13 at the Texas military base.
According to the Hill, the comments were made by GOP candidate Allen West.
Allen West (R-Fla.), a retired military colonel who served as a commander at the Texas base, said in a release that Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan’s attack may indicate a broader effort by Islamic extremists to recruit downtrodden members of the military.
“This enemy preys on downtrodden soldiers and teaches them extremism will lift them up,” West said in a statement. “Our soldiers are being brainwashed.”
The release added that West claims “the horrible tragedy at Fort Hood is proof the enemy is infiltrating our military.”
The National Republican Congressional Committee in October selected West as one of 32 new members of its “Young Guns” program designed to promote challengers and open-seat candidates in the 2010 midterm elections. West formerly served in Iraq and Afghanistan and was the 2008 Republican nominee to unseat Rep. Ron Klein (D-Fla.) in the state’s 22nd district.

“This enemy preys on downtrodden soldiers and teaches them extremism will lift them up,” West said, in a statement titled “Terrorists Are infiltrating Military”. “Our soldiers are being brainwashed.”
While admitting that more information was needed about Thursday’s tragedy, West nevertheless called for a renewed effort on the part of the military to prevent Islamic extremism from penetrating its ranks.
“The most importantly thing right now is that we objectively assess this situation,” West said. “But it is imperative that we take steps to make sure this does not happen again.”

The 9/11 perps’ names were also given in advance as was Lee Harvey Oswald; the FBI always seems to have the names in ‘advance’ but cannot stop these events from going down.
Why?
Because they let them happen. It was a black op set up to further an agenda or policy – like 9/11 – a set up to start a war with Iraq and later Afghanistan. For oil and poppy fields – the Trans- Eurasian pipelina and Caucasas oil is huge. The heroin trade is huge. The banksters are getting rich off these wars, and the Bush, Cheney, Saud and bin Laden families didn’t do half bad either.
Who benefitted?
This probably advances some aspect of a half-wit poilicy to go to war with Iran or at least step up the war. Hassan will probably be shown to be a relative of Achmadinejad or something like that. Remember this: Obama said io his campaign he would end the wars and withdraw all tropps. NOW to change that without any loss of political capital, something has to happen to justify the change. And Gen McChrystal wants more troops for Afgahnistan now. So this was the justification.
Who had the power to cover this up?
Well, let’s start with Gen Cone – God, the guy sounds like Gen Halftrack from Beetle Bailey – but within minutes there was a Crown Vic pulling up with a bunch of suits in it. FBI? CIA? Some other alphabet soup agency? They knew this was going to happen IN ADVANCE – they were just standing by somwhere close. Somebody had/has an op on and they are now covering it up.
The 3 Colonels who came out and spoke – they were saying nothing basically – lots of ‘well we can’t release that information because of an ongoing investigation’. Lots of ‘we can’t release that yet’. That translates to: ‘we are getting our cover story straight and we’ll pass that along later’.

Was Hasan Nidal downtrodden? If so how and by whom? Is the military venting its spleen on soldiers who happen to be Muslims since 9/11? What is the purpose of hounding and downtroddening senior officers because of their religion?
Sounds to me that people are trying to invent an entire back story to give an explanation to this very odd incident.

I hate being the person saying “oh this must be a black op coverup” whenever anything bad happens in the U.S. but this just sounds way to odd. You can tell by the rhetoric that the Mass media and the government are using that they want to use this to further their policies or goals, like bringing up his religion and implying that Islam somehow brainwashed him into attacking the U.S. that just doesnt make sense, from what ive read he’s been a U.S. citizen his whole life so how would that be possible and how isnt that general forced to answer for that terrible piece of misinformation.
Its so hard to be objective when hearing stuff from the government, theres part of me that just doesnt want to know the truth so as to avoid all the bullshit insults that get thrown at you when you bring up alternative accounts, but theyve also lost all credibility with me so even when their stories are conceivable i find i dont trust them.

On Thursday, Hasan jumped on a desk and hollered “Allahu Akbar!” — God is great! — inside Fort Hood’s Soldier Readiness Center before firing at soldiers and civilians gathered there, military and hospital officials said. Twelve soldiers and one civilian were killed and 30 others were wounded, some seriously, Fort Hood spokesman Col. John Rossi said. Yeah , a ‘ enemy ‘ , as they call it , HAS had infiltrated the US military and the name of the enemy is ” Common Sense ” .
This enemy , Common Sense , affects downtrodden soldiers because our troops in Iraq and Afhganistan are beginning to awaken and ask WHY hey are there in the first place . This is becoming all to common now with troops being deployed overseas .
When this Allen West said that our soldiers are being brainwashed , He’s Right , but it isn’t Islamic extremists doing the brainwashing , its the U.S. military and the current administrations straregic objectives that are confusing our troops overseas and when West uses the tragedy at Fort Hood as proof the enemy’s ( iIslamic extremists ) infiltration into our military , I’m assuming that he is refering to Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan , a man of Muslim faith.
That statement is nothing more then Racial Profiling and that is unexceptable for a retired military colonel and a canidate for U.S. Congress in 2010 .
West has his views on the current Invasions by the U.S. , he’s third of four generations of military servicemen in his family , twenty years of service in the US Army , an advisor in Afghanistan for the Afghan army, finishing in November 2007. Of course he would view Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan as not only a coward as those lead bottom , diehard , ex militarymen would , but also The Enemy ? ? ?
Whether West’s views are personal ,racial or political , the very fact that he would behave in such a manner being an Afro-American born in Atlanta , Georgia at a time when you had people like George Wallace, governor of Alabama in 1967 and a Presidential candidate in 1968 . Wallace was best known for his Southern populist pro-segregation attitudes during the American desegregation period, convictions he renounced later in life.
