Rogers Slams “Zombification” Of Economy, Warns Of Hyperinflation
Calls for Paulson and Bernanke to resign, Fed to be abolished

Well respected financial commentator Jim Rogers has slammed the economic policies of the American and British governments, arguing that they are “propping up zombie banks”, and repeating his previous warning that an inflationary holocaust is being unleashed due to a ceaseless overprinting of currency.
Rogers made the comments during a lively CNBC interview yesterday.
The legendary investor stated:
“Throughout history whenever you’ve had gigantic amounts of paper money created, it’s led to inflation down the road. Sure, things are going down now because of forced liquidation, I mean AIG went bankrupt, Lehman brothers went bankrupt, and a lot of people are redeeming and being forced to sell everything. That’s not deflation, that’s temporary.”
The CNBC anchor then expressed disagreement with Rogers’ argument, missing the entire point that overprinting of currency has caused hyper inflation throughout history, and instead using semantics to argue that AIG didn’t go bankrupt and stating that an overall deflation has caused the current economic crisis.
As we have continually demonstrated, the driving factors behind the current financial crisis have been the destruction of the dollar via an ever increasing move towards a debt based economy, the creation of money out of thin air and the attachment of unwarranted astronomical value onto paper and derivatives contracts.

“Unless the world is coming to an end… in that kind of scenario you are right, everything is going to suffer.” Rogers told viewers. “I am of the view that the world is going to recover some day and with all the money that’s being created, history has shown that it has always led to inflation.” he continued.
Rogers, the creator of the Rogers International Commodities Index (RICI), also slammed the Treasury Secretary and the Chairman of the Federal Reserve.
“Paulson and Bernanke should resign, it’s the first thing they should do, they should abolish the federal reserve and stay out of the way, let the market take care of this. Bernanke claims to be an expert over the depression, the collapse, you know he doesn’t know what he is doing.” Rogers commented.
Rogers also pointed out that the Japanese economy is still suffering because during a sharp decline in the stock market throughout the 90’s it did not allow anyone to fail and created so called “zombie banks”.
“it’s 18 years later and they’re stock market is still 75 or 80% below where it was 18 years ago. This policy has never worked,” Rogers urged.
Rogers described the bailout policies of the American and British governments as “taking the assets from the competent, giving the assets to the incompetent and saying now you compete with the competent,” pointing out that the approach is completely antithetical to how soundly functioning markets have operated throughout history.

Stupid people can be fun. But when they put them on TV to argue with someone who has some experience and wisdom, it truly is priceless.
I still love it when ‘tards discuss inflation in terms of prices. It shows an utter lack of understanding of how a money supply affects an economy. Inflation IS the expansion of the money supply. The destructive effects are secondary. Those guilty of inflating the money supply should also be brought up on fraud and extortion charges.
Historic inflation has occurred in the past few years with the staggering disbursement of cash through bailouts and excessive lending. Of course this will lead to price increases… unless the system collapses altogether from the damage caused by its fraudulent and fundamentally flawed nature.
The fact that stock, commodity and real estate values are plummeting is not an indication of deflation. It merely indicates that those that have been given the money are not spending it on stocks, commodities and real estate…..yet. The fact that the money has been lent out and handed out is indisputable and the subject of much media coverage. That it is not being spent is another issue. Where it IS being spent is another subject altogether.
Here’s one possibility: The powers with the most money know that the US Dollar is going to collapse sometime soon and they are simply getting all their money out of $US based assets. Then when the $US is replaced, they will come back in and buy your nation at a bargain basement price.
Here’s the real salient point: why in the name of everything reasonable do we keep putting up with this madness?
All we need to do to unseat our criminal rulers is stop using their money. When we switch to an alternative currency their system will fall once and for all – and not to be replaced with another of their fraudulent systems. The central banks will dissolve and their political actors will be out of a job.
I have formulated an inflation-proof currency that is not subject to taxation. When we switch to an alternative currency the criminals that are enslaving you and your children will fall by the wayside.

Absolutely, and positively, I would like to say Fuck you America! Unfortunately, I was born an American, but have been living in Asia since 2000. Any person with half a brain could see what was coming back then. On my visits back to the US, I was always amazed at the stupidity, and rock star attitude of average americans. Everyone was a financial genius, fast livin’, super lover, out to give advice and scorn to any person not flyin high like them. Now I watch from far away, and must laugh at what I see. Everyone is losing everything (Except the most corrupt among you), homelessness, unemployment, inflation, etc. are rampant, the media is verbally raping Pallin and McCain, and Obama is being touted as a saint. A Texas girl got her face carved up today by a black man, who is an Obama supporter, and whites aren’t outraged. The vilest of Yankees have fist-raped our once great country, white folks cannot resist Obama without being labled a racist, and middleclass white america is losing everything, including their collective self respect, and they won’t do a damn thing about it. I’m sad to see you have no sense of patriotism towards a country who’s constitution was God inspired and written by Great men of justice. If somehow i could encourage you to find in yourself, something about America you could love again. Maybe you will see the courage it takes for many Americans, who do not have the means to “run away” from it’s problems, but must live amongst the deception. If Americans can rediscover the constitution in the spirit it was created it would liberate the humble and strengthen the weak. In the face of open tyranny surely tyranny cannot stand. My friend it is courage that you lack why you abandoned your country when it needs the strength of it’s young and the wisdom of it’s old. Everyone should look at the article on hypnosis posted on infowars.com and study this research thoroughly. This is exactly what I have been dealing with on a daily basis. A few things popped out at me like mob hypnosis and war hypnosis turning civilized men into criminals. Being conditioned to verbal or other symbols with mental triggers creating a mental slave.This is also used in psychological warfare and black ops to create and control mind control victims and cults.These techniques are very dangerous in the wrong hands and the public should be aware they are being used on them. I have been aware of these techniques for several years. They have been used to covertly control and manipulate my behaviour. They have been used to try and coerce and force false confessions. They have been used to try and make me act violent or crazy. This is done openly and is easily deniable making it hard for victims to come forth. The article was right to recongnize this type of behaviour as illegal and giving specific court case examples stating “Hypnosis-type mental pressure has been held by the Supreme Court of the United States to be so unduly influential as to deprive someone of their fundamental rights.” I think the bigger story is that someone has attempted to frame myself and is now engaged in a massive coverup attempt. I am followed and harrassed everywhere I go. They are using psychological torture and recreating trauma to control and fragment my mind. This is well known by many and anyone who will not participate or tries to help me is also targeted. I was told by one man that he had to or “they would get me”. I have travelled to canada because they offer refuge protection to peoples who fear persecution or whose removal from Canada would subject them to a danger of torture, a risk to their life or a risk of cruel and unusual treatment or punishment. I was refused and told I needed to contact my local police. How do you contact the police and report corruption? These same people were openly taunting me in canada! I am an employee with the American Red Cross and they recently declared the United States as criminal and guilty of war crimes. The Red Cross is well known for being an advocate and defending human rights worldwide. I am now having the same problems by people who have been recruited or infiltrated positions that would get them close to me so that they might try and get me fired. If this type of illegal persecution and oppression can openly go unchecked and unchallenged it will only grow like a parasite on society and none of us will be safe until it is. Please don’t ignore or disregard this information. There is a covert war against the citizens who have become aware of corruption in the dallas ftworth area. Many people including churches are being persecuted.

In case you haven’t noticed, your banking system is on extremely thin ice itself. Didn’t your largest banks just get nationalized? Anyway, at least we have resources in the US. If it all falls apart, we can feed ourselves, which is better than I can say for the Netherlands. Hard to subsist on leaks, nee?
