Rogers: Stimulus Bill Will Make The Problem Worse
Warns that more debt based monetary policy will lead to hyperinflation

Renowned investor and respected financial commentator Jim Rogers has slammed the latest economic rescue package, declaring that it will not work and will most probably make the situation worse than it already is.
Rogers, the creator of the Rogers International Commodities Index (RICI), told CNBC that the latest so called “stimulus” is more of the same debt based policy that has led the world to the brink of total financial meltdown.
Rogers also pointed out that the offered solution is coming from the very same people who allowed the financial crisis to arise in the first instance.
“It is mind-boggling to me,” Rogers told “Squawk Box Europe.”
“If I were on your show 15 weeks in a row and was wrong, you’d probably never invite me back. These guys have been wrong year after year after year consistently and here they are making the same mistakes again. This is not going to solve the problem, it’s going to make it worse.”
Rogers also spoke of the artificial rally of the US Dollar and warned that hyperinflation is certain to follow.
“We’ve had a period of forced liquidation of everything, even the US Dollar is going up,” Rogers said. “It’s been much stronger than expected because there is this massive forced liquidation, there are huge short positions in the Dollar, everybody is having to cover.”
“But we’ve never had in world history a period when every single central bank and every government in the world is printing money as fast as they can.” Rogers said.
“So I know we’re going to have serious inflation down the road, when it happens I don’t know, so I periodically buy gold.”
Rogers also predicted that the head long plunge into more debt and inflationary monetary policy would lead to a bubble in US government bonds.

Rogers also warned that the fallout of financial collapse may lead to a period of protectionism and more social unrest.
“This is very dangerous, that’s what caused the great depression in the 1930s. If it happens again, then you’d better sell all the stocks, you’d better sell a lot of everything and bunker down,” he said.
“We already have a lot of social unrest developing. If protectionism comes back, you’d better be really, really careful,” Rogers added.

Do what I have done, and continue to do, POST this information at any POLL, Survey, or any place you can think of to get this INFO out to the public.
So what if they delete it… if it hits just one person, that may make an effect.
Go to money.cnn.com and post up on there… they have a poll on if the Bail out will work or not, make good, educated arguments that even they can’t deny.

Rogers has said that the Fed should go out of business, Bernanke should resign, bashes the bailout, and said that Ron Paul is the “only American politician that seems to have a clue about what’s going on in the world.” How does this make him the “bad guy?” Sounds like “one of us” to me..

Hey, doesn’t history say that Protectionism and Tariffs are what worked, and when things screwed up it was because bankers notes caused a speculative bubble that burst?
I think we need Protectionism and Tariffs and for the Federal Government to follow the Constitution and remove the power from the bankers to print “money.”

I have been coming to this site now for a while and reading the comments. I have learnt plenty, yesterday I learnt about all the genocides that have gone on and this morning I found this new one which is featured on… http://www.rense.com/... it happened in Dresden Germany and was committed by the US and Brits on Feb 13 1945..after the war had ENDED and they killed half a million people in the biggest one day massacre of all time.
What I have learnt from these sites is we have all been capable of doing genocide and nearly every race has committed these crimes. I notice that the Jews are being blamed for everything and I am not saying they are innocent but there does seem to be a hate campaign going on at the moment….. rightly or wrongly and I have even joined in on this campaign at times.
I get the feeling that the Jews and the Illuminati are not one and the same, maybe you are now calling the Illuminati the NWO as we know they changed names but I know part of their group is the Freemasons. Anyway I wonder if the Freemasons and Illuminati are trying to get rid of the Jews, or at least have a go at them????
From the side lines it seems that we are all being totally numb to the idea of being rounded up and guillotined and chucked into some FEMA camp. Is this the aim of this campaign, to get us all to say “Oh well that is what humans do, we round each other up and kill off millions and that is just who we are.” and soon we will see the next round of killings.
I can now can talk about this whole thing to others with no emotion what so ever and others have commented on this. I think I just now see it as a fact and if they want to chop off my head, well hopefully it will be quick and painless. People say there is room on this planet for us all but we all know in our hearts that is not true. Some moron wrote on here a few days back that everyone could fit into Australia and have a quarter acre. Well most of Australia is unlivable, only the outer edges is of any value to anyone and Australia can no longer feed itself, as it’s land is so poor. The fact is people need large areas for food production and most countries are now struggling to feed their own populations.
I am not agreeing with those that intend to chop off my head I would like to live on but I also do not want to see this planet destroyed because we don’t care about it and value ourselves and our greedy needs about that of the planet.
Anyway that is my thoughts so far….
