Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers (R-MI) took a shot at the Obama administration’s foreign policy.
“You can’t base your policy based on what’s trending on Twitter,” Rogers proclaimed. “It has to be more than hashtags and selfies.”
“Can we help with the girls?” he said. “I think we can and we should and we must. But we also have to worry about the women of Afghanistan — some 11 million. We’re getting ready to walk away from them. In Syria, we have 12 million women who are under siege.”
“This is going to continue to happen unless we have a robust, holistic approach to what is radicalism and extremism popping up all over,” he added.
