I hope he is successful in passing this, but if he isn’t, I hope he is successful in the media campaign that shows how the FED and it’s congressional backers, are afraid of the light of day. The American people are tired of a corrupt government with no transparancy. This transparancy is what the Obama supporters were promised, and is yet another promise broken. Hopefully, the honeymoon is over with Obama. I think it is in the eyes of the public, only the mainstream press won’t admit it.

Even though LUCY LIB is satire and given that humor has it’s place in society,
let’s combat the dis-info-comedians by posting about the issue because even though it’s funny, it dilutes the message and distracts progress.

You are right on on the stamina of ron paul. hes got to be in his 70 s. anyway who is to know if paul and jones are 100% with the people. i have seen paul indicate masonic affiliations but so what if they arent 100%, they are all we got but i think the chances of auditing the fed aggressively are slim to none. good luck ron..

“Italian Police Hold Japanese With “Bonds Worth $134 Billion”

ROME (AFP)–Italian financial police said Friday they were holding two Japanese men stopped on the Swiss border with U.S. bonds allegedly worth $134 billion, or nearly EUR100 billion.
The two middle-aged men were trying to enter Switzerland from Italy by train when they were checked by customs at Chiasso after saying they had nothing to declare.
The financial police at Como said 249 U.S. Federal Reserve bonds with a face value of $500 million each were found in a false-bottomed suitcase along with 10 so-called Kennedy bonds worth $1 billion apiece.
“We are trying to verify if these bonds are genuine,” a police spokesman said.
If they are authentic, the Japanese face a fine of up to EUR38 billion for smuggling, the police said.

Ron Paul wants an audit of the FED. But it is too late. Too much american money are now in China, Japan and Europe (in secret swiss banks). This is off topic, but just an example of how people are starting to wake up. In steps.
I have a friend who is/was a total Obama supporter.
She called me last week and asked if she could barrow 200 dollars and she would return by July 10th.
I told her to ask Obama for the money because she told me that he was going to make things better for people like her. I think she is starting to realize that he is doing nothing for people like her. Maybe she will wake up to see the bigger picture sooner than later.
The point is people ARE WAKING UP. That can only be a good thing. Of course flooding their in box with bills and articles and handing out DVD’s helps too.

So the ramifications of this could affect the whole country. If this thing goes through they are going to drop the hammer and do something that will throw the people into panic. It must be done and we need not fear. The kind of change we need will be costly and will have risks, but if we want change we must sacrifice and understand what we want will not come without consequences. We, through our support can make Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich our defacto President and Vice President. If they are the ones getting done what we want to see done, they will be in fact leading the country. Sure they won’t have the ability to launch our military against helpless third world nation’s and they won’t have to take their order’s from nefarious behind the scen elites, but that’s what we want anyway. Direct lesgislation for the benefit of and by the will of the people. I guess you could call it a peacefull coup.

POOLE, Circuit Judge:
On July 27, 1979, appellant John Lewis was injured by a vehicle owned and operated by the Los Angeles branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. Lewis brought this action in district court alleging jurisdiction under the Federal Tort Claims Act (the Act), 28 U.S.C. § 1346(b). The United States moved to dismiss for lack of subject matter jurisdiction. The district court dismissed, holding that the Federal Reserve Bank is not a federal agency within the meaning of the Act and that the court therefore lacked subject matter jurisdiction. We affirm.
In enacting the Federal Tort Claims Act, Congress provided a limited waiver of the sovereign immunity of the United States for certain torts of federal employees. United States v. Orleans, 425 U.S. 807, 813, 96 S.Ct. 1971, 1975, 48 L.Ed.2d 390 (1976).
Specifically, the Act creates liability for injuries “caused by the negligent or wrongful act or omission” of an employee of any federal agency acting within the scope of his office or employment. 28 U.S.C. §§ 1346(b), 2671. “Federal agency” is defined as:
the executive departments, the military departments, independent establishments of the United States, and corporations acting primarily as instrumentalities of the United States, but does not include any contractors with the United States.
28 U.S.C. § 2671. The liability of the United States for the negligence of a Federal Reserve Bank employee depends, therefore, on whether the Bank is a federal agency under § 2671.
There are no sharp criteria for determining whether an entity is a federal agency within the meaning of the Act, but the critical factor is the existence of federal government control over the “detailed physical performance” and “day to day operation” of that entity. United States v. Orleans, 425 U.S. 807, 814, 96 S.Ct. 1971, 1975, 48 L.Ed.2d 390 (1976), Logue v. United States, 412 U.S. 521, 528, 93 S.Ct. 2215, 2219, 37 L.Ed.2d 121 (1973).
Other factors courts have considered include whether the entity is an independent corporation, Pearl v. United States, 230 F.2d 243 (10th Cir. 1956), Freeling v. Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, 221 F.Supp. 955 (W.D.Okla.1962), aff’d per curiam, 326 F.2d 971 (10th Cir. 1963), whether the government is involved in the entity’s finances. Goddard v. District of Columbia Redevelopment Land Agency, 287 F.2d 343, 345 (D.C.Cir.1961), cert. denied, 366 U.S. 910 , 81 S.Ct. 1085, 6 L.Ed.2d 235 (1961), Freeling v. Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, 221 F.Supp. 955, and whether the mission of the entity furthers the policy of the United States, Goddard v. District of Columbia Redevelopment Land Agency, 287 F.2d at 345.
Examining the organization and function of the Federal Reserve Banks, and applying the relevant factors, we conclude that the Reserve Banks are not federal instrumentalities for purposes of the FTCA, but are independent, privately owned and locally controlled corporations.
Each Federal Reserve Bank is a separate corporation owned by commercial banks in its region. The stockholding commercial banks elect two thirds of each Bank’s nine member board of directors. The remaining three directors are appointed by the Federal Reserve Board. The Federal Reserve Board regulates the Reserve Banks, but direct supervision and control of each Bank is exercised by its board of directors. 12 U.S.C. § 301. The directors enact by-laws regulating the manner of conducting general Bank business, 12 U.S.C. § 341, and appoint officers to implement and supervise daily Bank activities. These activities include collecting and clearing checks, making advances to private and commercial entities, holding reserves for member banks, discounting the notes of member banks, and buying and selling securities on the open market. See 12 U.S.C. §§ 341-361.
Each Bank is statutorily empowered to conduct these activities without day to day direction from the federal government. Thus, for example, the interest rates on advances to member banks, individuals, partnerships, and corporations are set by each Reserve Bank and their decisions regarding the purchase and sale of securities are likewise independently made.
It is evident from the legislative history of the Federal Reserve Act that Congress did not intend to give the federal government direction over the daily operation of the Reserve Banks:
It is proposed that the Government shall retain sufficient power over the reserve banks to enable it to exercise a direct authority when necessary to do so, but that it shall in no way attempt to carry on through its own mechanism the routine operations and banking which require detailed knowledge of local and individual credit and which determine the funds of the community in any given instance. In other words, the reserve-bank plan retains to the Government power over the exercise of the broader banking functions, while it leaves to individuals and privately owned institutions the actual direction of routine.

The fact that the Federal Reserve Board regulates the Reserve Banks does not make them federal agencies under the Act. In United States v. Orleans, 425 U.S. 807, 96 S.Ct. 1971, 48 L.Ed.2d 390 (1976), the Supreme Court held that a community action agency was not a federal agency or instrumentality for purposes of the Act, even though the agency was organized under federal regulations and heavily funded by the federal government.
Because the agency’s day to day operation was not supervised by the federal government, but by local officials, the Court refused to extend federal tort liability for the negligence of the agency’s employees. Similarly, the Federal Reserve Banks, though heavily regulated, are locally controlled by their member banks. Unlike typical federal agencies, each bank is empowered to hire and fire employees at will. Bank employees do not participate in the Civil Service Retirement System. They are covered by worker’s compensation insurance, purchased by the Bank, rather than the Federal Employees Compensation Act. Employees traveling on Bank business are not subject to federal travel regulations and do not receive government employee discounts on lodging and services.
The Banks are listed neither as “wholly owned” government corporations under 31 U.S.C. § 846 nor as “mixed ownership” corporations under 31 U.S.C. § 856, a factor considered in Pearl v. United States, 230 F.2d 243 (10th Cir. 1956), which held that the Civil Air Patrol is not a federal agency under the Act. Closely resembling the status of the Federal Reserve Bank, the Civil Air Patrol is a non-profit, federally chartered corporation organized to serve the public welfare. But because Congress’ control over the Civil Air Patrol is limited and the corporation is not designated as a wholly owned or mixed ownership government corporation under 31 U.S.C. §§ 846 and 856, the court concluded that the corporation is a non-governmental, independent entity, not covered under the Act.
Additionally, Reserve Banks, as privately owned entities, receive no appropriated funds from Congress. Cf. Goddard v. District of Columbia Redevelopment Land Agency, 287 F.2d 343, 345 (D.C.Cir.1961), cert. denied, 366 U.S. 910 , 81 S.Ct. 1085, 6 L.Ed.2d 235 (1961) (court held land redevelopment agency was federal agency for purposes of the Act in large part because agency received direct appropriated funds from Congress.)
Finally, the Banks are empowered to sue and be sued in their own name. 12 U.S.C. § 341. They carry their own liability insurance and typically process and handle their own claims. In the past, the Banks have defended against tort claims directly, through private counsel, not government attorneys, e.g., Banco De Espana v. Federal Reserve Bank of New York, 114 F.2d 438 (2d Cir. 1940); Huntington Towers v. Franklin National Bank, 559 F.2d 863 (2d Cir. 1977); Bollow v. Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, 650 F.2d 1093 (9th Cir. 1981), and they have never been required to settle tort claims under the administrative procedure of 28 U.S.C. § 2672. The waiver of sovereign immunity contained in the Act would therefore appear to be inapposite to the Banks who have not historically claimed or received general immunity from judicial process.
The Reserve Banks have properly been held to be federal instrumentalities for some purposes. In United States v. Hollingshead, 672 F.2d 751 (9th Cir. 1982), this court held that a Federal Reserve Bank employee who was responsible for recommending expenditure of federal funds was a “public official” under the Federal Bribery Statute. That statute broadly defines public official to include any person acting “for or on behalf of the Government.” S. Rep. No. 2213, 87th Cong., 2nd Sess. (1962), reprinted in (1962) U.S. Code Cong. & Ad. News 3852, 3856. See 18 U.S.C. § 201(a). The test for determining status as a public official turns on whether there is “substantial federal involvement” in the defendant’s activities. United States v. Hollingshead, 672 F.2d at 754. In contrast, under the FTCA, federal liability is narrowly based on traditional agency principles and does not necessarily lie when the tortfeasor simply works for an entity, like the Reserve Banks, which perform important activities for the government.
The Reserve Banks are deemed to be federal instrumentalities for purposes of immunity from state taxation. Federal Reserve Bank of Boston v. Commissioner of Corporations & Taxation, 499 F.2d 60 (1st Cir. 1974), after remand, 520 F.2d 221 (1st Cir. 1975); Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis v. Register of Deeds, 288 Mich. 120, 284 N.W. 667 (1939). The test for determining whether an entity is a federal instrumentality for purposes of protection from state or local action or taxation, however, is very broad: whether the entity performs an important governmental function. Federal Land Bank v. Bismarck Lumber Co., 314 U.S. 95, 102, 62 S.Ct. 1, 5, 86 L.Ed. 65 (1941); Rust v. Johnson, 597 F.2d 174, 178 (9th Cir. 1979), cert. denied, 444 U.S. 964 , 100 S.Ct. 450, 62 L.Ed.2d 376 (1979). The Reserve Banks, which further the nation’s fiscal policy, clearly perform an important governmental function.
Performance of an important governmental function, however, is but a single factor and not determinative in tort claims actions. Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis v. Metrocentre Improvement District, 657 F.2d 183, 185 n.2 (8th Cir. 1981), Cf. Pearl v. United States, 230 F.2d 243 (10th Cir. 1956). State taxation has traditionally been viewed as a greater obstacle to an entity’s ability to perform federal functions than exposure to judicial process; therefore tax immunity is liberally applied. Federal Land Bank v. Priddy, 294 U.S. 229 , 235, 55 S.Ct. 705, 708, 79 L.Ed. 1408 (1955). Federal tort liability, however, is based on traditional agency principles and thus depends upon the principal’s ability to control the actions of his agent, and not simply upon whether the entity performs an important governmental function. See United States v. Orleans, 425 U.S. 807, 815, 96 S.Ct. 1971, 1976, 48 L.Ed.2d 390 (1976), United States v. Logue, 412 U.S. 521, 527-28, 93 S.Ct. 2215, 2219, 37 L.Ed.2d 121 (1973).
Brinks Inc. v. Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, 466 F.Supp. 116 (D.D.C.1979), held that a Federal Reserve Bank is a federal instrumentality for purposes of the Service Contract Act, 41 U.S.C. § 351. Citing Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, the court applied the “important governmental function” test and concluded that the term “Federal Government” in the Service Contract Act must be “liberally construed to effectuate the Act’s humanitarian purposes of providing minimum wage and fringe benefit protection to individuals performing contracts with the federal government.” Id. 288 Mich. at 120, 284 N.W.2d 667.
Such a liberal construction of the term “federal agency” for purposes of the Act is unwarranted. Unlike in Brinks, plaintiffs are not without a forum in which to seek a remedy, for they may bring an appropriate state tort claim directly against the Bank; and if successful, their prospects of recovery are bright since the institutions are both highly solvent and amply insured.
For these reasons we hold that the Reserve Banks are not federal agencies for purposes of the Federal Tort Claims Act and we affirm the judgment of the district court.
AFFIRMED.

Well, since the Fed is a private institution, it will be interesting to see what happens to its owners if the audits reveals annoying wrongdoings.
Could we imagine “Enron-like” type of prosecutions ? And the Fed real private owners being held liable of the damages done to the economy, the American public, the foreign countries etc.?

It seems to me that most legislation purposed by Dr. Paul ends up on the scrap heap.
If the FED gets audited then I will be much more hopeful about the World.

Auditing the fed is fine. But lets say we take this thing all the way – and end up taking the country back. Are we, within ourselves, charitable enough to put our own needs aside in order to heal the planet once and for all? How much are we prepared to give to the cause?
Alex has put his neck on the line. Sure – he has his critics (who alledge that he is an operative). But, if that were so – why would he ENCOURAGE us to be armed, have food, love each other, and to believe in a God of freedomg and justice? Maybe Alex doesnt go far enough (for some peoples tastes) – but he has shared valuable information with us all.
The grim reality however is this: That during the 20th century (particularly post-WW2) – we (the western world) became the most self-indulgent, decadent population the world has ever seen. All we cared about was what the next muscle-car was, or making sure our lawn was neatly trimmed. All along the way – we stopped being politically-active. Maybe the masses never really were very active (unless you go back to the days of Jefferson – and even then it was a minority of the country involved in the actual revolution). But we allowed the world powers, through apathy and disinterest, to arm themselves with Nukes, and to develop all kinds of weapons from hell; to the point where now the world powers are so heavily armed- they could wipe us all out in seconds.
Two conclusions to draw: Either-
- We are literally in Hell, and the suffering we feel is from falsely getting our hopes up, believing we can turn things around – only to have a neutron bomb dropped on our “freedom city”, or “Zion” etc..
Perhaps its all out of our hands?

- Potentially we could/can turn it around. And – either we choose to give it our all, or we dont. But, the people who become committed first – are targeted as enemies first. That is what Glenn Beck is doing: singling out 9/11 truth as the enemy – hoping that it will turn the dumb masses against us. Maybe they (world govt) have so much legal dirt on him (from the days of his drug abuse, etc) that he is now being told exactly what to say, and when?
But, either way – we are going to eventually have to come up against that giant king-hell war machine – that is aimed directly at us. We let the baby beast grow into a giant monster, because we stopped caring about what the CIA was up, what the Fed was up to.
Like someone else said on here – we havent even seen the beginning of it yet. They literally have the power (instantly) to shut down the entire planet. They could (in minutes) shut off ALL power, water, communications, and food. And they could do it in mid-january. Then what would we do? Try to audit the fed? Would that help then?
Focus on immediate short-term goals, sure. Try to audit the fed. But dont overlook long-term goals (preparedeness), ie: food, means to defend your homes, and survival skills.
Last thing: Stop using their applicances (mostly made in China), their movies, music, their inventions. They were all designed to distract us from becoming aware of true reality. Besides – look at the role-models we are expected to emulate: Rock stars who are addicted to drugs, movie stars who work for the UN, and so many other spiritually degenerate lost souls – who made their money by quite literally selling their souls. Do you think membership at Bohemian grove is entrusted to people who could potentially report on them and expose them? Even people who ‘love peace’ are members of the grove, ie: Bob Weir (Grateful dead).
Entertainment is fine once the world is fixed. But we need to realize the spiritual roots of this struggle. In that: Until we discover that we are all equal, that noone is more important than another – then we can find lasting world peace. But if we fail to share our food storage with our neighbours, or if we use our spare time to go play golf – instead of planting a garden/serving an elderly neighbour/doing a kind act – thant we are not getting any closer to the solution.
Does mankind have the potential to actually discover sustainable world peace on its own? Do we have what it takes to look beyond ourselves, in order to accomodate the needs of others?
Until we eradicate selfishness (in all its forms), we all (as individuals) have the potential to destroy this movement.

Sorry I should point out Neo was a machine and just didn’t know it. Neo stands for New as in Neolithic and when he goes out of the matrix, what does he look into, a cracked MIRROR and what were Morpheus glasses? MIRRORS… this shows you you are really looking for a mirror image or reverse of what you are seeing. Behind Neo on the wall when he is looking into the mirror which heals it’s crack, is a a picture of stones or rocks and in inside the stones or rocks is a human stomach…
Stones inside of Rocks is the symbol for the women inside the God…It’s even in the bible. If you look really closely at this movie in the first one and the last one, you will see a human inside the gut of the large machines.

OK lets try this…What matters is if you can reach people…. get them to understand a truth. Eg most people believe in evolution which means they believe that humans just sort of happened as some kind of cosmic accident. That no creator had a hand in it and that they are alone in the universe. On the other hand there is a bunch of people who believe in God and religion but these people are also mind controlled because they believe they have to go along with what the church says even though the bible itself often disagrees with the church.
In the middle of these two is the truth. The bible does hold the truth in code. Now is the time of the apocalypse…. One of the means of the word is a prophetic revelation.
Humans developed as a primate type creature for a while and were then hybridized by a race of beings. This made our destiny and theres linked. We are no longer the creature we were and our hopes and desires are now what we call human which is this hybrid creature. We can’t go back to being who we were or we would no longer be human and besides this option is not available, obviously. This is expressed in the bible as the Adam and Eve story. When Adam and Eve took a bite of the apple which is the fruit of the beings I am talking about and took in some of their genes, or DNA, their eyes were opened and they became hairless for a start which is why they suddenly saw they were naked and they became smarter but they also became bound to and enslaved by the beings I am talking about. Then these creatures threw us out of the garden of Eden and made us go it alone and suffer from what they had done to us. They did this because they wanted us to multiply and that is all this Earth has been about, a cradle for you to breed up in numbers and the guardians have been watching over you and they call this the Matrix, the name is correct. The guardians are called the watchmen in the bible and are most probably the Masons etc. The secret they hide from you is no little secret, it is not just about having power.
I guess I am making this effort to tell you this because people will be prisoners until they can realise this truth. If you believe you are alone and not linked fundamentally to another creature, then you will not let that creature in and you will not understand your destiny and many don’t want you to, they want you to view them as the enemy. You can cut yourself off and most are cut off, we believe we are alone and that we are strong and all of the arrogant stuff I hear all the time. People honestly believe they are in control of their own minds but this is to over look the fact that your brain is like a computer and is the sum of the information it digests. It depends on what you view and hear as to what you believe. It amazes me that people can’t grasp this simple concept, that they are not in control of their own minds and so are not free.
The Matrix movies were designed to help you understand concepts and see a greater truth in the world, told as a sort of parable which means to tell a story and by the story help you to come to grips with some aspects of reality. Many movies are about this at present because the breeding programme is about to end and it is now time for you to wake up from your long sleep of ignorance about the truth of who you are and why you are here. Normal religion does not hold the answer and it does not matter what religion you belong to, or even if you belong to one at all.
In the Matrix movies Morpheus and Niobe were two machines who worked as inside agents as did the Oracle. Their mission was to form a bridge between the two creatures or man and machine in the movie and get them to view Neo as a hero for sacrificing himself to the machines and causing a pact to be formed between the two. I try to be skeptical of these things, but the 2012 Mayan long-count calendar is an interesting case. By itself, it really doesn’t suggest anything beyond an interesting (to astronomers, at least), rare alignment in our Milky Way galaxy… still, a calendar system of such precision stresses an importance of some kind for this date, kinda’ like how we always remember “holidays” to mark important (at least for agricultural purposes) ANCIENT annual events, like the winter solstice and spring equinox.
Even if you completely dispell astrology and alchemy, it cannot be denied that the giants we call planets and stars have a profound effect on life on earth (i.e. the moon and the tides, the sun, etc.) I was watching a docuementary on Discovery about the earth’s various layers and core (a ball of dense, charged, molten iron) and they mentioned that the earth’s magnetic field is dissipating RAPIDLY, and they think this might bring on another in a series of polar shifts which happen every few million years. And of course, it is also the magnetic field that shields us from the solar winds. The Bermuda Triangle and it’s counterpart near Japan, the Devil’s triangle, will presumably become our new magnetic north and south poles. These areas are currently the weakest spots in the earth’s magnetic field, which explains compass readings, as well as mechanical failure, as the solar winds are able to penetrate this weak spot and fry electrical equipment.
I look forward to seeing if anything of importance happens in December of 2012… I’d love to see the “election” coverage usurped by what most will probably assume is the wrath of an angry god. Call me an asshole, but I might die laughing.

What’s ironic here is just at the last moment when things are looking real good and the bill to investigate the FED is just a signiture away from being signed and just about passed…and people start getting seriously sanctimonious about all the bad s--- that they think they know about, the ball will drop on everything and there won’t be a darn thing you can do, most people won’t even be aware in the end that they didn’t get what they had thought they would, cause they’ll be so sidetracked by then, they’ll think they got something to talk about. It’s just another dog and pony show, even if some of the players are genuine. You think the people who are in charge would just let themselves be found out by some measly investigation? For 2000 years they’ve been playing the same game, they’re playing it now. This is just another example of crumbs being thrown to the masses to distract them. For example, if you were at war with a million man army and a specific meaningful battle ended the war, would you not wonder or be concerned as to what the million man army that supported the evil that you defeated are doing while we celebrate a victory? Would we embrace them regardless of their actions and for their blind support for a system that intended to kill you and your family. What about the think tanks and organizations, politicians, bankers, media pundits and all the professionals that supported the war against you and your fellow human being?
