Texas Congressman Ron Paul has warned that the amended bailout legislation that passed Congress on Friday is not only far worse than the original bill but is also unconstitutional.
Paul speaking just minutes after leaving the floor of the House on Friday, explained that the tax portion of the bill was written by the Senate, when under the Constitution only the House can originate tax bills.
“That in itself was unconstitutional but it’s been done before and it will be done again.” The Congressman said.
Paul highlighted that the passage of the bill defied logic because it was even worse than the original rejected version:
“It’s amazing, you take a very very bad bill, appropriating $700 billion, you can’t get enough votes to pass it so you take it back out, you make it much worse and take it up to over $800 billion.” Paul commented.
“Today is an even sadder day that on Monday,” Paul stated, “Here today when the special interests got their two cents in, or their $10 million worth of lobbying in, the members switched their vote.”
The Congressman decried the fact that 57 members, mostly so called conservatives, switched their votes on Friday. He urged that those who have destroyed the economy and our freedoms not be allowed to dictate how the system is rebuilt in America.
Paul also compared the economic situation to that of the Soviet Union in 1989, urging that the current economic meltdown stems from empire building foreign policy, and that we are now dealing with the bankruptcy of the United States.

Earlier in the day Ron Paul had taken the floor in the House to express his opposition to the bailout, stating that it represents an evasion of the real problem and more of the same inflationary practices that have caused the crisis in the first instance.

The problem is our entire monetary system is founded upon TRUST and when that trust is broken, when traitorous senators and congressmen bend over backwards to stab us in the ass financially and steal for the benefit of evil bankers then everyone suffers. Every single time the Constitution is ignored and bypassed and people are NOT thrown in prison the dollar is looked upon with less value and the end result is turmoil in the markets.

Ron Paul is awesome. . . And his colleagues are highly accountable for what they have done, because Dr. Paul has been there all along to show clearly why such moves are foolish, unjust and unConstitutional. These people cannot plead ignorance and have absolutely no excuse.

This bailout was touted to us as this or nothing. That was not the choice. There were many other ways that this crisis could be handled. This country has been like a family living on their credit cards. You live well for a while buying everything you want, but then comes the time to pay up. This government wants to keep spending and buying their war toys and bailout their close friends when they need it. In the meanwhile the other 99%of us pay the bill. We do NOT have to keep voting these people back into office. Don’t let them tell you that a third party vote is throwing your vote away. It is a scam, we need to show the people in charge that they will not be in charge if they don’t represent us, the people.

I say buy your guns now because if Obama is elected you may not be able to buy them, & if McCain is elected – you’re going to need them ! Polls showed 80-90% of the public were against this bill, well that doesn’t mean a damn thing. And when your only choice is between two candidates that are more alike than different, there really isn’t a choice. But I guess I can vote with my dollar. Invest in paying off all of my debt, learn to garden, learn to live with less, keep money OUT of the stockmarket, and quit giving in to the urge to buy, buy , buy. It’s true that “special interests” pushed for the bailout bill, but its ignorant to blame “special interests.”
In a populist democracy, every group that participates in the political system is a “special interest”, with the incentive and the possibility of using the political system to extract benefits for its members at the expense of other groups. The welfare and regulatory systems are two common means of coercively redistributing property and conferring monopoly benefits to various groups. Everyone in a democracy is constantly on the defensive against the possibility of organized groups extracting benefits from him, and on the offensive attempting to use the coercive power of the state to extract benefits from others.
The existence of special interests is just a symptom of the disease: the growth of government power to a degree that allows those in power to violate our rights and steal our property for the benefits of their constituents. Populist “maverick” politicians who claim that they will “fight special interests” and “change the culture in Washington” are just attempting to subvert the power of the state to favor their particular constituency. Take away the power of the government, and you will remove both the incentive and the power of the “special interests.”

If anyone was listening to Alex’s radio program the other day, he replayed an audio clip of a speech given by one of the congressmen opposed to the bailout. In this speech he let it be known that a couple of those opposing the bill were threatened (probably by the White House) that if the bailout was not passed , Bush would then declare MARSHAL LAW in Amerika.
If anyone can still support this wannabe dictator, they are either a braindead moron or a nazi.

For further clearification: The banks will take the primary blame for this. In the past there were more manufacturing jobs that pay higher wages and our markets were less expose to low cost producers from overseas from manufacturing to service.

If you tell me that that first religion was untrue, a usurper, lets say, then you’ll have to explain to me how man can overcome God for 1500 years before we were graced by the light of Luther. After all, God could have swept the usurper away in a flash, just He did Israels enemies. Languishing in darkness for 15 centuries because of a few misguided men and an absentee landlord in God doesn’t make sense.
If the Bible says, “one faith, one Lord, one baptism, one God Father of all,” which one of these is the one Saint Paul is referring to. One sect believes in baptism, another believes baptism is unnecessary, most believe in marriage to one person of the opposite sex until death, others believe in divorce and now, even in same sex marriage. Since we all have only one soul, we cannot afford to just take a chance with that precious soul and its final, eternal destiny. And isn’t it true that Christians generally think that Hell and Brimstone is reserved for the other guy, whoever that may vaguely refer to?
So which Christian faith is the true one? Just askin’, for my eternity’s sake.

I wish I was a theologian and could give you all the answers you seek. However, I am not. I am acting on faith by even posting. I cannot give you the answers you seek and I recommended the site I did so that all answers could be given if not an answer definitely , then it could provide you and others a means to research. Listening to the Alex Jones show led me to Christ. In my limited research and unlimited prayer for our country, its citizens and the world at large, I have had it laid upon my heart merely to submit posts that will open the conversation to a Godly and Christian tone.

For the christian numerologists: just when Bush said live CNN (says “live”) “I expect most if not all of the value of the assets will be recovered” the (presum.) live feed of the Dow was at 9666 points (if I saw correctly).
Seems the Dow gave a correct signal, because if most/all value will be recovered, why aren`t there any commercial buyers who buy the assets just a little below the value the Gov. would be buying them at.
