Congressman warns that auto-bailout could lead directly to fascism in America

Texas Congressman Ron Paul has hit out at US monetary policy, warning that fear based politics are being used to promote the bailout culture in the same way they were used to sell the Iraq war.
“Governments that want to take over, undermine our liberties and gain more power always use the fear factor. They did this leading up to the war in Iraq, they do it on foreign policy, now they’re doing it on monetary, economic and financial problems.” Paul told the nationally syndicated Alex Jones show Wednesday.
“They do that all the time, that is their technique, always to build a tremendous fear in the hearts of the people. Terrorize the people and say that ‘we are your saviors and we’re the only ones that can take care of it’.” The Congressman stated.
Paul pointed out that the use of the fear factor was never more evident than in the run up to the passage of the $750 billion bailout bill earlier this year when it emerged that representatives had been threatened with an economic crash and physical martial law in America.
When asked if this constituted economic terrorism, Paul replied “Of course it is, and those responsible should be held accountable.”
The Congressman also warned that the bailout of the auto industry could have dire consequences.
“It is extremely dangerous because although we have been creeping in that direction, this is an endorsement of nationalization. If they keep token ownership with the corporations, which they probably will, then it’s called fascism.” Paul said.
(ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW)
“I think everybody knows we’re in a crisis now and they have now gotten to the point where they don’t trust the government, which is healthy.” The Congressman told listeners.
“A lot of people are begging and pleading and they’re lining up. But the average guy outside of Washington, especially so many of the young people are realizing that this has all been a hoax and this is the time to really expose that hoax.”
“We have a real opportunity to direct attention to the real culprit and that is those who control the monetary system. Those who counterfeit our money and cause the financial bubbles and then recessions, and now are working real hard on a depression.” Paul continued.
“The only thing that can counteract this is a different philosophy. A convincing argument that free markets, sound money and no Federal Reserve and limited taxes, the things that made America great.”
“The system that they are trying to patch together right now will not work. We don’t need more regulatory agencies, all we need is the enforcement of fraud laws.” Paul concluded.

Obama appoints a rogue’s gallery of criminals, Israel pawns, ‘dual-citizens’ and Clinton retreads who will just simply keep on keeping on with the same Dumbya/Cheney crimes. The hairspray electronic media goons and the rapidly-sinking newspaper brown-nosers eagerly fawn and gush over them and take them seriously and nobody says a thing. People in this country will do what they are told in the end. There is a vast ocean of hard-line rightwing thought out there buffered for the past 40 plus years by the controlled press. It is ‘easy’ to just do what we are told by Israel. This situation is going to make the coming hard times a lot harder on everybody.

As much as I have supported, agreed with, campaigned and supported Ron in the past, it is time to face the fact that the great ship of the United States of America is too big to turn around, too indebted to find a new port to dock at, too top heavy with useless and self threatening defenses, too corrupted to restore it’s old constitution and sinking too fast for any watertight compartment to keep afloat.
When Gorbachev-Obama starts into his neo-con “change’ Perestroika, it will be too little to restructure and restructure anything with, and too late to do so. We cannot get corrupt enough to defeat the corrupters who have stolen America. The unconstitutional CIA/Pentagon dictatorship has enslaved and destroyed the once-free country they never really served.
Ron, Alex and all their most distinguished and sensible friends need to start construction plans for the only REAL solution which is the new American Federation.

Zioclowns: Israel was a creation of rich jews gaining control of 1st Britain*s, then U.S.*s foreign policy.
it is the creation of wealthy noble Tory-’Christian’ brownshirt Euro-Nazi Fascists and their duped rich Jewish Zionist Fascist buddies, so they could have the nation they very mistakenly think their ‘bible’ tells them their selfish Satan-worshipping evil hatreds must destroy

This is correct. Wall Street Bullies and Elite terrorists saying, “Give us what we want or we will shut the entire economy down”. They believe it is their American right not to loose anything and that the American Slave should understand this without question. Most American Slaves will go along too.

I have listened to Alex Jones for a couple of years now, and I hope he reads this comment. Although I cannot fault his unrelenting commitment to unveiling the “truth”, there is – what i perceive to be – an almost disturbing lack of remedy on offer, no call to arms, no direction or advice as to how to combat this evil. The listener is mostly showered with a rant and rave, a rhetoric, and a “you can’t make this up”.
Yes, we are told to arm ourselves. Stock up on dry food. But this advice only serves to segment people. Take care of yourself and your family, is the message. Buy gold because the dollar is doomed. Isn’t this self-defeatist? The majority of people simply cannot afford to stock up, buy gold. Are we to leave these folks behind in our quest for the truth, for freedom?
Alex seems to be continually striving to provide further evidence of the conspiracy, whilst many people are already convincing. We desperately need a strong leader who can provide some drection.
We the people need a call the arms.

Okay, I’m Canadian, I would, however, move to the states, get a green card and join the republicans JUST to vote for Ron Paul. I’m sure that with the ability to do something about all this shit going on he’d save the world if he were president, without trying, just as a side effect of fixing the problems in his own home!
Obama’s just another old white dude, he’s got the same team; mashing up the idea’s of two separate party’s, making them into one. Who are you guys voting for? There’s no difference between any of them it seems!
We’re stuck with a guy named Harper who seems to have some confusion as to weather there’s actually a problem with the economy or not, that’s awesome. Our leader doesn’t have a clue what’s up, and he’s doing shit about it. Another lame duck, I guess.
So, it’s my opinion that this world is fucked, and the only people that can save us, IS us. So, let’s get to work and start the revolution!
VIVA LA REVOLUCION!!!!

Mary Shapiro, Obama’s pick to lead the SEC has crossed paths with family members of accused fraudster Bernard Madoff through her career at the head securities -industry bodies. Madoff and members of his family were active for decades in the National Association of Securities Dealers wich Ms. Shapiro led. His firm was instrumentalin founding the Nasdaq stock market created by the association, wich merged with the enforcement and regulation arms of the New York Stock Exchange to form the Financial Industry Regulatory Autohority last year.Ms Shapiro now heads FINRA. Both of Madoff’ s sons Andrew and Mark served on one of the NASD’s district committees in2004 . Bernard Madoff and his family had relationships with various philanthropic groups and held numerous honorific positions in the financial industry . Those relationships may have allowed Madoff’s company, to attract investors and avoid serious scrutiny . Madoff’s brother Peter, in the other hand, resigned yesterday from the board of the Securities Industry and Financial Market Association , a trade association of 650 securities firms . Madoff’s nice Shana , served on Finra’s Complience Advisory Group as Ms Shapiro was heading Finra .Shana resign that position this week .

I voted for Ron Paul in the primary because he is the only one who isn’t “playing the game” in washington. Him and Kucinich are about the only ones standing up FOR THE PEOPLE. Then i didn’t vote at all in the nov. election since RP wasn’t in, I know its rigged, but still…

Ron Paul represents freedom and the Constitution he is the only hope for America.that’s why I didn’t vote this year because Ron Paul was not on the ballot!!my vote is not going for criminals running an agenda For World Govt to enslave humanity and abolish the constitution!!

Yes! Ron Paul says it all! I always learn something when I listen to him which is why I have his bumper sticker on all my cars.
‘“The system that they are trying to patch together right now will not work. We don’t need more regulatory agencies, all we need is the enforcement of fraud laws.” Paul concluded.’
Too true, and that is why Eliot Spitzer is no more. I think states can and should lead in the area of financial and fraud law enforcement if they would just grow some balls.

Speaking of terrorism:
George W. Bush committed hate crimes of epic proportions and with the stench of terrorism (indicated in my blog).
George W. Bush did in fact commit innumerable hate crimes.
And I do solemnly swear by Almighty God that George W. Bush committed other hate crimes of epic proportions and with the stench of terrorism which I am not at liberty to mention.
Many people know what Bush did.
And many people will know what Bush did—even to the end of the world.
Bush was absolute evil.
Bush is now like a fugitive from justice.
Bush is a psychological prisoner.
Bush has a lot to worry about.
Bush can technically be prosecuted for hate crimes at any time.
In any case, Bush will go down in history in infamy.

I am not sure where I had read it before, but anyway, it is a linguistically excellent statement, and it goes kind of like this: “If only it were possible to ban invention that bottled up memory so it never got stale and faded.” Oh wait—off of the top of my head—I think the quotation came from my Lower Merion High School yearbook.
