Congressman Ron Paul fears that a staged incident exploited as a pretext to attack Iran may be the precursor to a national draft, as he responded to Sy Hersh’s astounding report that Dick Cheney proposed faking a Gulf of Tonkin style incident by killing Americans in the Straits of Hormuz and blaming it on Iran.
“The influence is still there that they want it to happen, they probably themselves don’t have a day set to do it but they’re waiting for an opportunity and something will come along,” Paul told the Alex Jones Show.
“They’re capable of doing anything,” said Paul, refering to the consideration unveiled in the Downing Street Memo, where Bush and Blair discussed painting a U2 spy plane in UN colors and goading Saddam to have it shot down as a pretext to invade Iraq.

Asked about Cheney’s proposal to kill Americans as part of a false flag attack to be blamed on Iran, Paul responded, “The sad part is a lot of people won’t be surprised….it’s tragic, it’s sad, all we have to do is have one our ships hit and a bunch of Americans killed and one or two news stations say it was the Iranians and the country’s going to be ready to go to war, they’d even be willing to call a draft to say we have to go to save Israel, we have to march in, so we need a draft – that’s the worst part that I fear,” said the Congressman.
Back in January 2007, Paul voiced his fears on the House floor of a “contrived Gulf of Tonkin style incident that may well occur to gain popular support for an attack on Iran.”
During an appearance on the Alex Jones Show last month, Congressman Paul said that a strike on Iran has already been green lighted, judging from what his contacts in and around Congress were telling him.
“It is still totally bewildering to me when I see men and women in the Congress that I know and like doing this just to get along. Most of them will say “I agree with you on all you say but the Iranians are bad people and they might attack us some day… I hear members of Congress saying ‘if we could only nuke them’,” said Paul.
During an event at the Campus Progress journalism conference earlier this month, journalist Sy Hersh detailed how a meeting took place in Dick Cheney’s office on the subject of “how to create a casus belli between Tehran and Washington,” part of an ongoing effort to provide an excuse to attack Iran.
“There was a dozen ideas proffered about how to trigger a war,” Hersh explains. “The one that interested me the most was why don’t we build — we in our shipyard — build four or five boats that look like Iranian PT boats. Put Navy seals on them with a lot of arms. And next time one of our boats goes to the Straits of Hormuz, start a shoot-up.”

Cheney’s comments were art of a brainstorming session. If they were really thinking of doing something like that, you would not have heard about it.
Why does Hersh look around the room during the interview, asking how many press are there? He is a neocon stooge. He always seems to have just the right story to make the Repubs look even worse. If I was Bush, I would pay some democrat journalist a buttload of money to print garbage on command. If you want to rule by fear, it helps to have people scared of you. Hersh is only helpinbg Bush rule by printing that crap.

For those in Congress that said “if we could just nuke Iran” lets do this. Gather those people together with Bush, Condi and especially Cheney (if you can find him) put them in the Nevada desert about 8 miles away from a 5 megaton hydroden bomb and set that sucker off. What we do is get all these cheeky psycopaths together and force them to work in Iraqi children’s hospitals… for life. After the first few years of seeing the fruit of their labor, perhaps they will come around to seeing the error of their ways. Forgive, but never forget. Compassion is the key. Don’t waste another breath hating these twisted freaks. Pray for them to wake up to thier connection to the rest of the world. It’s happening already. No amount of power trip can stop it. Don’t forget to start preparing for boot camp with a daily workout regime. I recommend alternating between cardio days (running) and weight training. The two will get you a physique that will put you ahead of all the other sad sacks at boot camp. Also try getting up early and organising your day just to see how you handle routine.

Just round up 20,000 of those retired military folks who donated to your campaign, making sure at least 500 of them are USMC snipers, (arms and munitions shouldn’t be a problem) and then announce to the whole prison planet Earth what is going to take place and when. If Little Rock, San Diego, Phoenix, Dallas, Charleston or any other U.S. city(s) are going to reach 10,000 degrees Celsius, some of would just like to know how strong a sunblock we should use. Some may even place a few bets in Vegas while the odds are still good.

I’ve been amazed in recent conversations with 15-17 year olds how politically aware and antiwar they are. Right now, many probably feel “What can we do, Bush is totally out of control?”, but a draft will motivate them out of self-defense, as it did my generation.

here’s a thought. The city of new york banned Geiger counters and chemical/biological detectors, and you need a special permit to own one.

Zeitgeist, that movie, is very informative in some aspects, the first part of the movie is quite unfactual, I freely admit Jesus’ birthday is not on the 25th of December, but anywho none of it disproves His existence, and the myths of Horus and Mithra bear little similarity to Christ (that is until after He came about) (Be happy if you can disprove that statement) Somewhat rambling here. Zeitgeist tuned me in to the possibility of RFID some odd being possibly mark of the beast (gov’t I believe), although somark is more likely. Check Revelation 13 i think it is, towards the end, forced upon the people, required for buying and selling, and received on the right hand or forehead, are a few characteristics, I dunno, perhaps a great deal of Revelation is set to come through. Time will prove this. Ramble ramble. Hmmm, what’s a good website ’bout this stuff. Yet you also say that these close and personal friends/acquaintances/comrades of yours in Congress (why else would you like them?) just turn their cheeks to get along. Then, you not only say these f**kers you adore so much agree with you completely, but you also assert that these people wish to just nuke another country into glass.
I have a question for you Mr. Paul: When in the hell do you think the American people will take their heads out of their asses long enough to kick you and all your other hypocritical, do-nothing for anyone except yourselves, f**king devil worshipers out of our government? Now dear, go surf again and (please) spend less time on researching the single subject of the Israeli/Vatican/US connection because this has obviously severely limited your ability to communicate its effects effectively.
