Ron Paul: Government Spending Driving Us Into Depression
Warns unread stimulus bill will prolong the agony

Texas Congressman Ron Paul has slammed the stimulus bill, passed by the House and Senate last week, as a blatant continuation of the destructive economic policy that caused the financial crisis in the first instance.
Paul, who is also a member of the House Financial Services Committee, pointed out that not one member of the House or the Senate has even read the bill.
“There were five copies available to the House and I think five to the Senate, and that wasn’t available ’til the House opened at noon time.” The Congressman told CNN viewers yesterday.
“So essentially it was not available to us and who can stay up all night and read a thousand pages?”
“So obviously it was done like business as usual. Things have been going on like this for a long time, but this one was a little bit worse, it was bigger than usual so it was not a very good day for America.” Paul said.
The Congressman again explained how the bill will do very little to stimulate the economy and will only prolong the problem and delay financial recovery.
“The rate we are going, we are just throwing more money at it, we don’t change any policies, whether it’s the welfare policy or the warfare policy, they always remain the same when either party is in power.”
“We got into the mess by spending too much money, running up to much debt, and printing too much money.” Paul said.

The Congressman added that cutting taxes is not effective enough when the stimulus bill also mandates continued spending.
“This bill was equivalent to what we had spent prior to 1980. The national debt was $800 billion in 1980. We had to raise the national debt this time with this bill by another nearly $800 billion.”
“So it is a process that will delay the recovery, we won’t have the correction, and we will drive ourselves into depression the way we are going.” he urged.
President Obama will sign the bill tomorrow in Denver.

We could have elected Ron Paul for President, but no we had to choose McCain v. Obama, two big-government, anti-freedom, totalitarians.
The financial rape of the American people since the Federal Reserve was created in 1913 now comes to cataclysmic end. Great idea but there are still far too many people in America that just don’t get what is happening in this country.
It will inevitably take an event that is truly of catastrophic proportions to get them to realize that their Government is NOT a Government that has the best of intentions for the people in mind.
There is a mass awakening in progress in America that will continue to snowball until the next planned event towards the totalitarian government that will ultimately consume the people of this once great nation.

I also wrote in Ron Paul. And I called the state board of elections (in Ohio) to find out why my vote was not part of the official tally for the state. They said they don’t count votes for people who have not officially declared themselves as running for President. I wonder how many other non-counted votes Ron Paul received during the election.
Counted or not, I felt good leaving the voting booth knowing that I voted for someone that cares about this country. I wonder how many McLaim/Obama voters could say the same thing?

It’s time for a revolution, but it needs to be planned properly and you must first have the majority on your side other wise the totalitarians, with their propaganda machine, main street media will convince the sheeple that the revolutionaries are bad people and need to be put down. Elected officials won’t fix the problem because they don’t want to blamed for the problem!
They want to keep things the same. That’s what this “Stimulus” bill does.

I recommended many months ago that the only way to fix this financial debacle was to give every LEGAL person in America, Man, Woman and Child a guaranteed check in the amount of $500,000.00!
This would have cost the people 1.7 Trillion dollars at face value and would have cured almost all of the problems of debt for the majority of Americans and if they were to place economic restrictions on the package such as giving money only to those who made less than $250,000.00 the money than the cost would have been reduced by about 1/3.
The politicians would have NONE of that as this would have actually helped the Americans to pay of their debt and they would have to wait several more years to destroy the economy and finance their NWO.
So this plan is just a program to loot the nation of all it’s wealth and transfer the money into the pockets of the top 1% of money changers in America.

It just blows my mind about peoples views in regards to current events. The world economy is on the brink of total failure. The peoples of Asia and Europe are on the verge of outright rioting. Our Federal Government is passing laws that totally enslave it’s citizens. Net neutrality to control information on the internet. The Fairness Doctrine to silence all “talk” on the radio and television. Sneaky ways to take away our guns such as “The Veterans Disarmament Act” which will work in tandem with the new Government database to contain our health records. The states are passing laws to stand up to the Federal Government which I believe is going to lead to a civil war between the states and the Fed. In short, total worldwide chaos is about to hit and is irreversable. Everything needed to bring about a call for this “New World Order” and yet I read here over and over how “We’re gonna stop the globalists/NWO gang”. When are you folks gonna face the music and accept what has finally come? I’m certainly not saying roll over and play dead. Definately fight for your right to survive and for your property. But lets all face it, this time has been predicted and is coming to be just as written. The NWO can’t happen unless there is an economic fall of the whole world. The bank bailout, stimulus bill and Big 3 bailout will ensure that the dollar crumbles and all the world goes down with it. So then what? Well if all markets fail, then you’ll surely have total chaos worldwide. You will then have to militarize the world and somehow come up with a new system. Surely you don’t think we’ll wipe the slate clean and start over with the same system. No, we’re gonna have ONE guy stand up with this GREAT IDEA. One in which we have one monetary system under one Government and after time, he’ll offer up a single World Religion too. The are some that are so bold to say that President Obama is the guy to lead this New World Order, right on television, out in the open. They are no longer keeping their goals hidden in secret. THEY, are building a system based on none other than Lucifer himself. THEY, are in control. Like it or not, THEY are moving ahead as planned. The only way to defeat them is to unite with the opposite of Lucifer. It is my belief that the world is about to see the “change” real soon. Maybe as quickly as in a few months. Hyperinflation is no joke. It’ll happen fast and in a progressive maner.
I don’t really want to push Christ down people’s throats but that’s what this is all about. I have been angry my whole life and I’m done being mad. I see what’s happening and I fully understand the whats and whys and hows. THEY, for a time are gonna win or have their way. But in the end, and there is and end, THEY lose.

Yes, some of these guys are in league with Lucifer (look at the societies they belong to etc) and some are without Jesus Christ and are just following the ways of the world (greed, fear etc), but all the folks in the NWO System are bringing things to a prophetic period. I share your frustration because so many folks want to attack us for telling them about Jesus and the scriptural word. They will even jump on us here for mentioning our religion and “cramming it down their throats” If they only knew what the Bible says and how it dovetails with all these crazy things going on in the world. Is it the end? I don’t know, but we sure are seeing many things happening before our eyes. These are some times we are living in. Can you imagine if more people could see all this the way we do? Wow!

There are many who know a lot more about how bad it is than most. Unfortunately, I would say based on what I’ve encountered…these “in the know” people are in the minority. Most are completely unprepared for what is coming. The best the “knowers” can do now is be prepared for the worst and hope that you aren’t in the wrong place at the wrong time. Cheery isn’t it. It’s sad….I go to “town” for groceries and I see a bunch of dead people walking around……dead in the head, and maybe soon dead period. I kind of feel like Luke in the movie Cool Hand Luke…when he’s yelling at God to go ahead and do “SOMETHING” already……whatever is coming….let’s just get on with it already and let the chips fall where they may. GOD bless Ron Paul for what he is doing, but I would think that a US Congressman would have some power to enforce the Constitution, or at least organize protests, instead of just giving speeches. We need leaders who can use whatever leverage they have to enforce the Constitution and bring about reforms to eliminate things like dual citizenship Israelis running our government. They could at least target the “pressure points” where we have a reasonable chance for real results instead of just rehashing the same complaints, so the average citizen is not wasting time trying to “fight city hall”.
Maybe I am just getting frustrated at the lack of any real reform.
