I finally think I understand Ron Paul’s way of thinking, concerning this years election. He realizes that it is too late to fix the US, we are too deep in debt to ever pay it off and whoever is elected in Nov will be blamed along with Bush for the destruction of America. He is concentrating his efforts into teaching people the how and why of the constitution, so when USA v2.0 is formed there can be clarifications in the Constitution for example; “Congress shall have the power to mint coin” turns into “Congress shall not delegate to power to mint coin and currency to a for profit corporation” and also “The Right of the people to bear arms” would be clarified as “The right of the individual citizens to own weapons, shall not be forfeited except as a punishment decreed by a criminal court if a person is found guilty of a felony.”

Actually, I’m glad the Republican party didn’t allow Ron Paul into the convention because I don’t want them to use him and benefit from all he stands for.

Ken Ron Paul is the most vocal supporter of the constitution in the entire US government. The constitution is the document that protects your rights and mine, and limits the power of government to interfere in our lives. In short it makes America the free country that most of us love. Do you have a problem with that?
Ron Paul has also been an outspoken critic of the war in Iraq. Now bear in mind that Iraq was not involved in 911 and they did not have weapons of mass destruction. We also know from the 911 report that none of the 911 attackers was even from Iraq. Most of them were from Saudi Arabia, and Bin Laden is from Saudi Arabia. But we haven’t done anything to Saudi Arabia. So we attacked a country that was not involved in 911 and we did nothing to the country whose fingerprints are all over 911. How does that make sense?
Ron Paul is right about the constitution and he’s right about Iraq. So why do you despise him?

Love live Ron Paul. There is a new generation brewing of young people filled with the ideology of freedom. Paul understands that his message is bigger than him and all of us who’s apathy has been cured by his candidacy need to remember that in order to keep the revolution going we must embrace the message and learn the ideology of freedom and true conservatism at it’s root and not just identify with a party label. Milton Friedman, Murray N Rothbard, Barry Goldwater and the many others of that ilk would have all supported Ron Paul. They all have written books and I suggest we all read them as to make sure that we never put all faith into any charismatic man or woman but that the message of liberty is right in our hearts and can easily be passed on to our children. . .

the problem is, we donated to a presidential campaign, that never really got off the ground,and that was our revolution stance.
not one national tv ad was placed with 6 times the cash as mccain had and he ran a truck load of ads.
what the hell happened to all the money and our candidate that was going to be in it till the end?????

Just returned from Minneapolis- awesome rally and truth movement with Ron Paul.
I was awakened again to the growing police state, on our last day. After the Rally, we went to our car in the IDS (on Marquette Avenue) parking garage. Evidently they ‘marked’ us, because when we returned at night they (the parking security) detained us.
After lying to us and saying they were through with us, we left the parking garage. Immediately, a State Trooper stopped us. The IDS security had set us up for something. The State Trooper began yelling at us “Show us your ID- your drivers license.”
I asked him “are we being charged with something? Why are you, a civil servant’ treating us like this?” He became more irate.
This went on for some time. Finally he tried to find anything to ‘charge’ us, but found nothing (including when he was trying to get us to do a breath test’
We left a little shaken up, without an charges. Welcome to Amerika, the new land of papers, Cops screaming at you, and where you are guilty until you prove your innocence.
My brother was just charged in Port Aransas in a similar manner- a younger cop yelling at him saying ‘You are lying- tell us the truth’. He was given a massive fine for parking his motorcycle a little crooked ($600). After about a 10 minute interrogation with another cop nodding in total police state sycophancy.
This stuff is real- until it happens to you, …. you dont really pay attention. Wow, what a learning experience.

I guess I see it a little differently than most. I thought Ron Paul did a masterful job stating Ventura’s comments, and if you listen to Beck, he actually saying that Ron Paul is NEEDED in government. I know any press is good press, but to actually get what I considered to be positive press makes it that much more valuable – and rare.
There are a number of Glenn Beck viewers who went to watch the Ventura comments as a result of this interview, and that’s a good thing. A connection could be made by his viewers in the sense that if Ron Paul is on the side of liberty, and Ventura is speaking at a Ron Paul rally, then perhaps this grassroots cause (sad to say that liberty is a grass roots cause, eh?) is worthwhile and should be supported financially and verbally. As a result of that, they may also start to look into things such as 9/11 truth without the sense that they are a kook for doing so.
In my humble opinion, this is yet another important element of the incremental change we must achieve.
