Ron Paul Slams Federal Reserve’s New Dictatorial Powers
Congressman tells MSNBC that the very entity responsible for the economic crisis is now more powerful than Congress

Responding to the Obama administration’s new regulatory reform plan, which will officially hand the Federal Reserve complete dictatorial control over the U.S. economy, Congressman Ron Paul told MSNBC that the Fed was now more powerful than Congress.
Paul emphasized that no amount of regulation could compensate for a financial system created and controlled by the Federal Reserve that was completely unstable to begin with.
“The regulations should be on the Federal Reserve. We should have transparency of the Federal Reserve. They can create trillions of dollars to bail out their friends, and we don’t even have any transparency of this. They’re more powerful than the Congress,” said Paul.
As we reported yesterday, the new rules would see the Fed given the authority to “regulate” any company whose activity it believes could threaten the economy and the markets.

Obama’s regulatory “reform” plan is nothing less than a green light for the complete and total takeover of the United States by a private banking cartel that will usurp the power of existing regulatory bodies, who are now being blamed for the financial crisis in order that their status can be abolished and their roles handed over to the all-powerful Fed.
“They’re giving a tremendous amount of more power to the Federal Reserve – the very institution that created our problem. That’s about the way Washington works,” said the Congressman
“Too much regulations to begin with, so they give it more. The Federal Reserve creates the problem, so we give them more power. It’s fiat money that’s the problem, so we allow them to double the money supply – you can’t solve the problems that way. That’s like saying you can take care of a drug addict by just giving them more drugs,” concluded Paul, adding that the lack of understanding about how the Federal Reserve created the problem and how the free market ought to work was the root of the crisis.

Dr. Paul didn’t get screwed in the primaries (well he was held back my media etc, but..). He knew he wasn’t going to win so his presidential campaign was a great success – opening up the powerful voice and platform he now wields. His perspective is more powerful than ever and that was made possible by his extremely successful campaign.

The Rothschilds were Jesuits who used their Jewish background as a
facade to cover their sinister activities. The Jesuits, working through
Rothschild and Biddle, sought to gain control of the banking system of
the United States.
Andrew Jackson was not happy with the central bank. When Biddle
sought to renew the bank’s charter in 1832, President Jackson put his
re-election bid on the line and vetoed Congress’ attempt to renew the
charter. He vetoed it for three reasons. The bank was becoming a
monopoly; it was unconstitutional, and it was a grave danger to the
country by having the bank heavily dominated by foreign interests (the
Jesuits).
Jackson felt that the very security of America was in danger from these
foreign interests. He said:
Is there no danger to our liberty and independence in a bank
that in its nature has so little to bind it to our country? Is
there not cause to tremble for the purity of our elections in
peace and for the independence of our country in war?
Controlling our currency, receiving our public monies, and
holding thousands of our citizens in dependence, it would be
more formidable and dangerous than a naval and military
power of the enemy. — Herman E. Kross, Documentary
History of Banking and Currency in the United States,
Chelsea House, pp. 26, 27.
Jackson’s comments were nothing new. Others understood the power
wielded by those who ran the bank. Mayer Rothschild said:
“I care not what puppet is placed on the throne of the
WORLD GOVERNMENTS to rule the Empire, … The man that controls
THE WORLDS money supply controls the WORLD and i care not
who writes the laws. And I control the money supply.”

This is the Jesuits’/Rothschilds’ golden rule. The one who has the gold

Griffin then writes:

Thomas Jefferson has this to say about the central bank.
A private central bank issuing the public currency is a
greater menace to the liberties of the people than a standing
army… We must not let our rulers load us with perpetual
debt. — Ibid. p. 329.
The Jesuits used Biddle and Rothschild to gain the upper hand in
American banking because they knew they could then control the
people and effectively re-write the Constitution according to papal law.
Jackson was trying to stop them.
Let us take a closer look at the central bank and see why it is so
dangerous. Most people do not understand the central bank, the
Federal Reserve Bank. Here is a very simplified scenario that pretty
much explains one of the operations of the Federal Reserve.
It is necessary to understand that the Federal Reserve Bank is not
owned by the United States government as many believe. The central
bank, the Federal Reserve Bank, is a private bank, owned by some of
the richest and most powerful people in the world. This bank has
nothing to do with the U.S. government other than the connection,
which allows the operation described below. The Federal Reserve Bank
has a total, government-enforced monopoly in money. Before we had
the central bank, each individual bank competed with other banks; the
customers, the consumers, got the best deal. Not any more.
We all know that today the United States government borrows money
and operates under astronomical debt. Why is this? Common sense
dictates that a policy of such enormous debt will sooner or later
destroy the organization that practices it, because the interest on its
debt must increase beyond its income, making payoff impossible.
Now to our scenario. Here, roughly, is how the operation proceeds.
Suppose the United States government wants to borrow a billion
dollars. The government issues a bond for this amount, much as a
water company does when it wants to raise money for a new pipeline
or a new dam. The government delivers this bond for the billion dollars
to the Federal Reserve Bank. The Federal Reserve Bank takes the bond
and writes an order to the Department of Printing and Engraving to
print the billion dollars’ worth of bills. After about two weeks or so,
when the bills are printed, the Department of Printing and Engraving
ships the bills to the Federal Reserve Bank, which then writes a check
for about two thousand dollars to pay for printing the billion dollars’
worth of bills. The Federal Reserve Bank then takes the billion dollars
and lends the billion dollars to the United States government, and the
people of the country pay interest at an exorbitant rate each year on
this money, which came out of nothing. The owners of the Federal
Reserve Bank put up nothing for this money.
We see, therefore, that when the United States government goes into
debt one dollar, a dollar plus the interest goes into the pockets of the
owners of the Federal Reserve Bank. This is the largest, the most
colossal theft ever perpetrated in the history of mankind, and it is so
slick, so subtle, and so obfuscated by propaganda from the news media
that the victims are not even aware of what is happening. You can see
why the Jesuits want to keep this operation secret.
The Constitution of the United States gives to Congress the power to
coin money. If Congress coined its own money as the Constitution
directs, it would not have to pay the hundreds of billions of dollars of
interest that it now pays each year to the bankers for the national
debt, for money that came out of nothing. Money coined by Congress
would be debt free.
Biddle responded to Jackson’s refusing to allow him to re-establish the
central bank by shrinking the nations money supply. He did this by
refusing to make loans. By so doing, he upended the economy and
money disappeared. Unemployment ran high. Companies went
bankrupt because they could not pay their loans. The nation went into
a panic depression. Biddle felt he could force Jackson to keep the
central bank. So confident was he that he publicly boasted that he had
caused the economic woes in America. Due to his foolish bragging,
others came out in defense of Jackson and the central bank died. It
died until its re-establishment in 1913. It was re-established then by
the same people, (Jesuits of Rome) for the same purpose of bringing
America to her knees and planting the temporal power of the pope in
The Jesuits’ scheming for a central bank in America was temporarily
stopped during Andrew Jackson’s presidency. He had opposed
Calhoun’s States Rights doctrine, and he stopped Biddle’s attempt to
continue the Central Bank. When other things fail, the Jesuit Oath
declares that it is commendable to murder someone who stands in
their way.
The President had earned the undying hatred of monetary
scientists, both in America and abroad. [The Jesuits were
furious.] It is not surprising, therefore, that on January
30,1835, an assassination attempt was made against him.
Miraculously, both pistols of the assailant misfired, and
Jackson was spared by a quirk of fate. It was the first such
attempt to be made against the life of a President of the
United States. The would-be assassin was Richard
Lawrence who either was truly insane or who pretended to
be insane to escape harsh punishment. At any rate,
Lawrence was found not guilty due to insanity. Later, he
boasted to friends that he had been in touch with powerful
people in Europe who had promised to protect him from
punishment should he be caught. — Ibid. p. 357.
The Jesuit Order was dead serious about taking over the United States.
They infiltrated into government at the highest levels, and used their
agents in controlling the American banking system. They would also
use assassination when necessary to destroy any opposition to their
plans. Andrew Jackson was almost assassinated by a Jesuit plant, who
bragged of powerful Europeans, (the Jesuits) that would set him free in
case he was caught. Other Presidents came along who also incurred
the undying wrath of Rome. Several have been assassinated, and a few
escaped certain death. The next chapter, which discusses the
Presidencies of William Henry Harrison, Zachary Taylor, and James

I loved what Ron Paul had to say. It’s like if stupidity goy US into this why can’t it get US out? I am a CAnadian Artist http://www.artistic-photo.com, so I don’t have any real interst financially except that CAnadian Econimic recovery depends on yours. The comparison between a drug addict and bailouts hit me right between the eyes, I am an addict clean and sober some 21 plus years, I shake my head at those who think Alcohol and Drug problems are just a sign of a Valium or some other Drug deficiency.
I wish I had something to do that would help, something to do right now. I will work hard and save, all the while staying clean and sobrer.

Thanks Paul for another run down on the recommended remedy but I think we need to abolish the dollar and come up with something cool for the kids like black cash. the whole world is in the end of days financially.. im already preparing to get self sufficient as possible. seeds, dried canned goods, fallout shelter (it may go nuclear). planting a garden, i live reasonably far away from towns and cities. will look for back up hideouts if things go super bad.. hopefully the sun will flare and render the nwo useless and neutered. hopefully they will all go underground and leave us to it on the surface..

I went to NYC in late October 1995 to protest the existance of the UN during their damn 50th anniversary which ws going on. Earlier that day I went to 33 Liberty St., the address of the ‘Federal’ Reserve’s main branch/HQ. (It’s address has the special Masonic ‘33′ with ‘Liberty’-which the secret society scum like CFR members and Masons have been working to destroy)
Anyway, I went upstairs at the Fed building to an information desk and got into a discussion with some guy working there about the legitamacy of the Fed and I said how it’s not Constitutional and not a government agency, and he said “You must be another reader of Greider’s “Secrets of the Temple”. I said that book doesn’t tell the real deal about the Fed, but rather G. Edward Griffin’s books/info does. He said that the Fed is “quasi-governmental”. I took out my pocket Constitution and said nothing is supposed to be a part or a ‘quasi’ part of the federal government unless it’s specifically authorized in the Supreme Law of the Land, and I then asked him to show me where in the Constitution does it authorize the existance of a “quasi-governmental Dept./agency.
Of course, he cold not.
BTW, I was not allowed to get near the UN building that afternoon cuz as the cops said, I had a protest sign. Freedom of speech is apparently where the pigs say you can do it, and this was years before 9/11 but there was a huge police presence all around 1st Avenuse etc.. I was the only anti-UN protester I saw in the whole area. There were crowds of other protesters who wanted the friggin UN to listen to their pleas for justice whatever but no true patriots around that I could see. I brought with me a UN flag which I certainly couldn’t burn with all the cops at every intersection, so I laid it down on the sidewalk where the UN dignitaries with their UN ID badges were walking by and I encouaged them to walk on their symbol, which I had made a big red circle & slash over with red paint.
I also went to the CFR hq just off Fifth Ave. that day and took a couple pictures in their foyer and a woman told me ‘No pictures’. Just the day before, Fidel Castro was right there hob-nobbing with Rockefeller and the rest of the CFR New World Order globalists! American citizens can’t go to Cuba but Fidel was allowed to go around NYC including to the hq of the CFR.

How about we keep Social Security and all of the benefits thereof and simply kill the military machine that produces no wealth, only serves to kill people, fill the pockets of the military industrial complex and war profiteers. Defense from what, who, or how? If you add up all the military spending from all countries on this planet, you will not come close to what the USA spends every year. Terrorism is a state tool to demonize or dehumanize a group of people to gain the support of the root populous to kill on a grand scale. I find myself on this site almost once per week. Usually I give the headings a cursory scan, looking for an article covering any of my pet interests — 911, monetary policy, china, etc. This site is to be commended for its proprietary information gathering methods as well as its original reporting. The fact that Alex has sucessfully grafted his organization into the national discourse is an almost herculean accomplishment; really, if one considers the obstacles overcome and the uniformity of institutional resistance, one wouldn’t be faulted for floating the word ‘miracle’ about the Infowar movement. Bravo, Mr. Jones; I salute you.
After reading any article regarding a favored interest, I sometimes scan the comments. Am I the only one who’s noted the troubling trajectory along which they invariably skew? It’s not that many of you cannot compose a cogent sentence; nor is it that spelling and syntax are given less heed than your fellow poster’s dignity (nevermind your own); and I won’t dwell on the fact that some of you use this site’s comments section for advertising and promoting your own sites; rather, I’d like to point out how purile, off subject and abusive the vast majority of comments are.
Insults are not an acceptable substitute for argument, but it seems many of you haven’t an alternative recourse. Why-oh-why are so many of you compelled to inanely pontificate about matters so wildly off subject? Do you fancy yourself a modern day HL Menken; so perspecatious that you cannot keep your itchy little fingers from pecking out some banal diatribe, feeling the world would be amiss if you abstained?
It’s obvious that a revolution is taking form, just over the horizon. They haven’t any choice at this ponit; only, and unfortunately, it will be orchestrated to satisfy the pervasive anger while maintaining the established order. Now that the Truths this site has been long revealing are penetrating the most bourgeois of sensibilities, we’re nearing a critical mass of sorts. They’ve planted a president with a vice littered past; written and recorded words that, once revealed, will effect a ubiquitious fury; and an oh-so convenient impeachment strategy…namely, revealing the ’secret’ of his citizenship. Currently, we are slogging through the controlled demolition phase; as prelude to the “peace and prosperity” to come. And if they cannot undermine ‘Truthers’ with their traditional dirty tricks (exhuming skeletons from closets), they will simply turn to you, his most vocal proponents, and rhetorically ask Americans, ‘is this the best group to chart the country’s future’. What conclusions do you think they will draw from a gaggle of petulant commenters who cannot distract themselves from namecalling long enough to flesh out the nuance of an issue. Furthermore, for the time being, why would an educated and or civil conspiracy neophyte contribute to a discourse when the most profound point posited is ‘you f@cktard’.
If you want a say, or if you want your representative’s say to carry water, then you’ll carefully consider what you write on this site, on your blogs, and around friends and family. This site affords a wide latitude, and if you are unable to appreciate the value of that freedom, don’t contribute at all.

In a somewhat similar manner, Seth (and it is a pleasant change to read a comment from a person who uses what is likely his real name, though the lack of a bio at your website/blog is a weakness), I occasionally read an article by Alex Jones – in my case having seen a short intro at FreedomsPhoenix.com that I receive regularly in my email Inbox. I too then skim down the comments and am dissuaded by the caliber of most of them.
I think that in general the quality of comments deteriorates – heavy usage of inanities, insults and poor grammar – with the lack of user true identification. I am strongly convinced that if those individuals who are too cowardly to use their real names (with links available for further detail about themselves) were ignored by those who are open as to their identity – like Alex Jones himself, who obviously is identified – the quality of comments would rise. Some sites make it clear that an anonymous user is a coward by having the software mark the comment as such. And a website owner can choose to incorporate software that requires some degree of identification (hir decision on how much) in order for a comment to be accepted. But the use of (often ridiculous) pseudonyms or nonsense URLs as “User” with insulting, vacuous, inane and/or grammatically horrendous comments necessitates some action by others – the disregarding of those commenters (negative social preferencing) by those who are fully identifiable and who *do* write cogent substantive items. Once this practice becomes a common practice at a website, the quality of the comments at that blog/site will improve. And the trend can be spread by those who are fearless enough to be a part of it everywhere they make comments.
And I agree, Seth, that a very poor impression is made on Internet “bystanders” and those who may hold opposing views on one or more covered issues by a website/blog that is seen to be heavily frequented by those who cannot express themselves on the issues in clear written language but rather resort to heavy usage of inanities, insults, obfuscation and poor grammar – and are anonymous to boot.
None of what I’ve written above is too difficult for any reader here to decipher – use of a dictionary is encouraged for any words that are not immediately recognizable. It may take a second reading to digest the importance of the message and that is heavily encouraged.

It’s been said that after President Woodrow Wilson signed the Fed into Law in 1913, he had told people he wished he had never done so. But his hand was forced by puppets who were owned by JP Morgan&Associates.

Yes don;t worry , I watch a program awhile about a small town in USA ,about a town bully was pushing everyone around and causes to much trouble, well the people in town went to local restaurant and excuted him !!! FBI , State troopers , everyone one came in but nobody talked and nobody saw anything , they couldn’t put a case together , so it went unsloved !!! Bottom line there is a lot tougher & smarter people not working for government , so if they do get out of line they won’t get far , remember those people that work for them have familys & friends and they are going to turn there backs on them & kill them for the government , I don’t think thats going to happen , remember they only work a 8 hour shift and if everybody in town wants you in the morgue , they better watch there back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ptc, for what’s its worth from a currently bankrupt dude,who nonetheless had the forsight to invest with his limited means and cashed out of gold and silver at it’s recent peak, I think your really onto something, and if you feel that Iran will fall by revolution or militarist means within 3 years or less, that this would be the reasoning for one to hoard proportionately more metals than storing food, as the resultant dollar hedgemony would therefore be enough for a cashout in metals even with the majority of people without excess funds.

Perhaps, American’s should start doing things by the book. Many companies have already did away with the credit system. I was at the mall near JFK, I was suprised to find a restaurant near Subway which said, CASH ONLY, no credit cards. I predict, in the next 5 years. Terrorism will be on a domestic level in oppose to a national level. TERROR will come from America’s home front. American citizens will rage war against this corrupt and bias government.
