Ron Paul: ‘There’s no difference’ between McCain and Obama

Former Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul has declined to endorse either John McCain or Barack Obama, and he told CNN’s Kiran Chetry on Thursday that he sees “no difference” between them because both espouse foreign policies that only create more threats to our national interests.
Chetry asked Paul, “Do you think it’s a valid argument … that a John McCain administration would be a four-year extension of the Bush administration?”
“Sure, but I think that’s what’s going to happen with Obama, too,” Paul replied. “There’s no difference.”
“Their foreign policies are identical,” Paul explained. “They want more troops in Afghanistan. They want to send more support to Georgia to protect the oil line there. Neither one says bring home the troops from Iraq from the bases — you know the bases are going to stay there, the embassy as big as the Vatican, that’s going to remain. So their foreign policies are exactly the same. They’re both very, very aggressive with Iran. So I would say there’s no difference.”

“How would you handle these global threats, then, if it’s not to send our troops there and make sure that we’re protected?” Chetry asked.
“We create the threats!” Paul replied emphatically. “Why are we on the borders of Russia provoking the Russians? I mean, the Georgians initiated the military attack against these enclaves where there were mostly Russians. … It’s the fact that we’re over there that we create these crises.”
“Isn’t it part of our duty, though, to support these fledgling democracies that ask for our help?” asked Chetry.
“No, it’s not our responsibility to do that,” Paul said firmly. “We should endorse the principle but not send troops and money. … Once we get over there, we just aggravate the situation.”
“We bombed Serbia in order for Kosovo to become independent,” Paul concluded. “Now the Russians are doing the same thing. … It’s this total inconsistency.”

I’m sure he knows about 9/11 and believes it was an inside job, he just can’t come out and say it during a campaign. Not enough Americans are informed to have it be popular. And I don’t think he is bitter, just frustrated at taking on the machine of our election process, and yes, its been hijacked and is rigged in all 50 states.

Just as I’ve resigned to hate the hypocritical media and their political machine Ron Paul pops up and articulates the issues truthfully. This truth energizes me initially. Then I think of all the people out there who respond to him as if he’s speaking a foreign language and I realize how widespread the social engineering effort is and how effective its been. If I were part of the intel and disinfo agencies who are responsible or complicit in this effort to dumb down the public I would not be too proud of myself right about now. That’s what I can’t understand as much as I try to “walk a mile in their shoes”. How do these people whose whole lifes work is the propagation of lies live with themselves?

I believe there is a difference, maybe not as much as we want but I think Obama is not as quick to use the military as McCain. Obama is more for diplomacy. They all have to be a member of the country club in order to play, or they will wind up like Paul and Edwards, not even in the running.Running for President is a balancing act but I believe Obama is the better man.Its a shame it is that way but thats the reality.The elite will probably put in who they want.There is a small chance our vote really counts,I will vote for Obama in case it does. He is the lesser of the 2 evils.The Democrats have historically done more for the average American. America has been ruined by the republicans.We had a surplus under Clinton now we are in debt for trillions.McCain will destroy our country and finish the work that Bush started.

at least once every four years the live action movie of the world gets interesting…………All the candidates are propelled into the spotlight. I have thought for many years it kinda strange that I cannot afford even one ad on TV as a small business man in the USA but these two political parties can blanket the media about whom to pick. From a semi local election all the way to trying to make us “feel” a certain way.
To be on the radio or internet and sell and talk about things that are shocking about the world…..as it is, and is heading, may not be the best course to change things. I do understand though money is needed to get the word out………and becoming an internet icon may be the price to pay for that, somewhere going down that line,though comfortable, for some. And uncomfortable. To use a bullhorn with a small group walking down a street yelling just the words 911 was an inside job does not seem very effective to me in the face of the enemy we face. It has the effect of turing the masses off.
I think your show might take a hit monitarily in doing this Alex but in order to change things as you seem to want there is a better way you might consider.
Go very intellectual about your broadcasts. Quit shouting at people with a bullhorn and ask them questions that make them have the masses rally around them.
You are a smart man Alex……..use the knowledge and insight in a way that the “intellectual” types might be more interested in.

Well it’s just that, matt: It’s not like Paul merely avoided the issue by not saying anything, he SPECIFICALLY said he does not believe 9/11 was an inside job. If he actually did, but did not want to reveal it, he would have just avoided a statement altogether.

How many times has anyone heard on radio or TV about someone in charge doing things for “regular” people. Am I irreagular? I think not.
I have been coming to this site off and on for many many years. To listen to those that are just angry about the lack of their own control of their lives and also and most importantly the truth.
The truth is many things. But the main core of the truth is that we are the “masses” As long as there are rich and poor haves and have nots…the lower of the thing will be the overwhelming majority of people that do not feel “empowered”.
History repeats itself………..have heard that on this radio and website also as a mantra for ten years.
I am hoping that there are just a few…..maybe just another that sees the truth. The truth is not in a man which many think there is.
To be guided by someone that you think has an answer might sem like the truth.
Alex you are a smart man. Lead those to think for themselves other than behind you with a bullhorn that no one takes serious.

I see people trying to tell the federal government what to do but it keeps rolling… Only way to turn the government is to effect the decisions of your local representatives your community votes them in and they rely on you to keep them in power threatn there power or elect the guy who acts on his oath to defend the constitution and up hold it. Then that small effect and with many more behind it it will turn the tide of this non constitutional government path and back to how it was setup to be…

Americans are soon going to be very sorry they didn’t stand behind Ron Paul for President. Instead they let a criminal media and rogue government push him aside for some cheap entertainment.

Steve, You are right-the left/right concept is the Elite’s way to keep America divided. Also the alot of the Voting machines are rigged and the big defense contractors own most of the stocks in those companies. The point I was making,was that Obama is less likely to use violence as so was Jimmy Carter.Jimmy Carter was put in by the Illumanti-he has been labeled the worst President we ever had,but that was mainstream media brainwashing which has been accepted by most of the U.S. as fact-the fact was, was that Carter was the only President we had that was 100% for peace and too me that is priceless.That is what I am saying about Obama, he is more for peace an against the war in Iraq. Anyone who thinks that there’ll be a fascist NWO without the Vatican and Jesuits is flat Earth society. They’ve ALWAYS been the biggest diplomatic and intell player in Western history, and the puppets and kings of today still go pay their homage and kiss the ring. Only the blind and willfully ignorant can fail to see it.
However, this is not all bad, of course. Papal intrigue (before and after the creation of the specialist Jesuits in the 1500s) may well be largely responsible for the LACK of any unified, monolithic, Leviathan super-state ever conquering the West- i.e. what used to be called “Christendom”. I love it when people try to push the “Alex Jones is CIA/Mossad/Zionist” COINTELPRO bullshit. I’m always open to information; especially if it’s something I may potentially disagree with. That said, I have looked at the information presented by these individuals and it is continually based on logical fallacies and far-fetched bullshit.
If Alex Jones were a covert agent, there are some important steps he would take that would follow typical government con-artists. Firstly, he wouldn’t encourage everyone to check his facts. Such open-mindedness is not a behavior that the government wants, which leads me to another point: Alex Jones wouldn’t insist that he is “just one person” and that anyone can do what he is doing (and he often encourages his listeners and various callers to do so). It’s important for individuals to remain trapped in a phoney paradigm so that when the chips fall, the answer is fed to them and they do not know where to go next.
Alex Jones would make one lousy agent, you can be sure of that. His listeners have already taken the red pill and if Jones goes down (or even if he came out and said “yes I am CIA”), his listeners and those whom he has reached will not be trapped without his presence or information since we all understand the classic tricks governments like to play, how they are trying to steal our liberty, and how to fight it.
