Ruling Party Official: Japan Should Attack North Korea
Military confrontation could embroil U.S. & China, lead to world war three

A ruling party lawmaker today urged Japan to break the terms of its pacifist constitution and pre-emptively attack North Korea following the Stalinist state’s nuclear bomb test.
“North Korea poses a serious and realistic threat to Japan,” stated former defense chief Gen Nakatani in Tokyo at a meeting of Liberal Democratic Party officials. “We must look at active missile defense such as attacking an enemy’s territory and bases.”
Nakatani said the attack could be accomplished by equipping navy ships with cruise missiles.
The former defense minister’s warning arrives on the heels of an LDP panel proposal that Japan should change the terms of its pacifist constitution, written by the U.S. after world war two to prevent Japan using hostile force to settle geopolitical disputes, to enable a military attack on North Korea.
“The Japanese government has built a defense network since a North Korean Taepodong-1 missile flew over Japan in 1998 that includes anti-missile batteries around Tokyo and is expanding to other major cities. Defense Minister Yasukazu Hamada in March ordered the shooting down of any North Korean missile or related debris that entered Japanese territory,” reports Bloomberg.
It’s not an exaggeration to conclude that any attack on North Korea could eventually lead to world war three. North Korea and China are allies and both have nuclear weapons. If North Korea is attacked by anyone, its first course of action would be to strike South Korea, a close ally of the United States. This would obligate the U.S. to retaliate, bringing American troops to the Chinese border and any escalation from that point would be a disaster.

As we reported yesterday, if you’re wondering how North Korea got its nukes in the first place, look no further than the U.S. government itself.
Two years before North Korea was included in the “axis of evil,” former U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, during his time as executive director of ABB, signed off on a $200 million dollar contract to build light water nuclear reactors in North Korea.
Rumsfeld was merely picking up the baton from the Clinton administration, who in 1994 agreed to replace North Korea’s domestically built nuclear reactors with light water nuclear reactors.
According to Henry Sokolski, head of the Non-proliferation Policy Education Centre in Washington, “These reactors are like all reactors, they have the potential to make weapons. So you might end up supplying the worst nuclear violator with the means to acquire the very weapons we’re trying to prevent it acquiring.”
President George W. Bush provided another $95 million in April 2002 towards the construction of more reactors in North Korea, as well as a further $3.5 million in January 2003.
Construction of the reactors was eventually suspended, but North Korea had an alternative source through which they could obtain the nuclear secrets vital to building an atom bomb arsenal – CIA asset and international arms smuggler AQ Khan.
In 2004, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, the father of Pakistan’s atom bomb program, admitted sharing nuclear technology via a worldwide smuggling network that included facilities in Malaysia that manufactured key parts for centrifuges.
Khan’s collaborator B.S.A. Tahir ran a front company out of Dubai that shipped centrifuge components to North Korea.
Despite Dutch authorities being deeply suspicious of Khan’s activities as far back as 1975, the CIA prevented them from arresting him on two occasions.
“The man was followed for almost ten years and obviously he was a serious problem. But again I was told that the secret services could handle it more effectively,” former Dutch Prime Minister Ruud Lubbers said. “The Hague did not have the final say in the matter. Washington did.”
Lubbers stated that Khan was allowed to slip in and out of the Netherlands with the blessing of the CIA, eventually allowing him to become the “primary salesman of an extensive international network for the proliferation of nuclear technology and know-how,” according to George W. Bush himself, and sell nuclear secrets that allowed North Korea to build nuclear bombs.
“Lubbers suspects that Washington allowed Khan’s activities because Pakistan was a key ally in the fight against the Soviets,” reports CFP. “At the time, the US government funded and armed mujahideen such as Osama bin Laden. They were trained by Pakistani intelligence to fight Soviet troops in Afghanistan. Anwar Iqbal, Washington correspondent for the Pakistani newspaper Dawn, told ISN Security Watch that Lubbers’ assertions may be correct. “This was part of a long-term foolish strategy. The US knew Pakistan was developing nuclear weapons but couldn’t care less because it was not going to be used against them. It was a deterrent against India and possibly the Soviets.”
In September 2005 it emerged that the Amsterdam court which sentenced Khan to four years imprisonment in 1983 had lost the legal files pertaining to the case. The court’s vice-president, Judge Anita Leeser, accused the CIA of stealing the files. “Something is not right, we just don’t lose things like that,” she told Dutch news show NOVA. “I find it bewildering that people lose files with a political goal, especially if it is on request of the CIA. It is unheard of.”
In 2005, Pakistani President Pervez Musharaf acknowledged that Khan had provided centrifuges and their designs to North Korea.
With this history in mind, the shock, condemnation and indignation being expressed by the U.S. government in response to North Korea’s second nuclear bomb test is tinged with hypocrisy to say the least. Through their policies in aiding North Korea to build light water reactors, and via the CIA asset AQ Khan who was protected at every step of the way while he helped provide North Korea with the means to build a nuclear arsenal, the U.S. government itself is directly complicit in providing North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Il with the nuclear weapons that they are now condemning him for testing.

Let’s see… preemptive attacks, is that not the same as just being the first to attack, aka the aggressor. Would this not mean, that any attacks sent out after these preemptive attacks would be fully justified by Japan’s actions. Sounds to me like China needs to do some preemptive attacks of it’s own. Same with Iran s Israel. If these nations are just peaceful and testing weapons for the protection of this peace, yet the whole world seems to want to attack them for it, and wants to start a real fight, then I can only hope that China and Iran are fully capable of defending themselves. If Afghanistan launched a preemptive strike against the USA, would we not attack them back? Oh, wait… we are.

Preemptive attacks and starting the war first, are the same thing Recon marine. In a real fight, it doesn’t matter who hits who first, it’s who left alive at the end of the war. Honestly, Japan should have been left in rubble and ruins, and China should have been left alone by the USA, period. Once we stuck our noses in, all our business and industry traveled their way, and fed their nations, and left America in a hole of debt, with nothing but lead toys to suckle on before they blow this shit out of themselves, and everyone else.

Actually, I do agree that the Jew aka Israel may not be involved in this conflict but they practically run the US. The US is so afraid of everyone else, mostly the other superpowers, the US just sympathize. Yes, Israel is a super power. Research their short but powerful military history. They have nuclear arms and are surpising rich. The US is broke. Most nations know it. The nations of the world are only kept at by for the US market and trade. Our military is spread out, weak, and demoralized. We would lose almost any confrontation with any superpower such as China, Israel, or Iran. Which is mostly the reason why the US is reluctant to attack Iran, because some prime leaders realize that attacking them will only result in Israel’s complete dependance of the US and the US will ultimately fail and Israel will jump in as the US is defeated and drop a nuke or two. Iran is 10 times the nation of Iraq. Iran has a massive army, airforce, and tank battalion and some new age weaponry. It will not be another Iraq but a glimpse of hell.

North Korea is no more of a nuclear threaqt then Anyone else. The U.S. has constantly had its share of mistakes with nukes. Constant testing in Nevada, Misplassed(lost) Nukes, August 2007 I belive U.S. Accidently loaded 6 nukes on a B52(personal thought they were loading conventional weapons, OOPS!) There has been atleast 24 reported U.S. Nuke handling mistakes that I can find. 1980 a Titan ll missle exploded during maintance in arkansas sending a nuclear warhead rocketing 600 feet in the air(good thing it wasnt armed). By far U.S. is the biggest nuclear threat in the world. Look past Fox News and all the others point-of-view and look at the rest of the worlds view on U.S. Nuke handling methods. Its widley known that the U.S. nuclear program is a mistake waiting to happen. 4 U.S. hydrogen bombs fell out of the sky when 2 planes crashed in spain…We supply the Technology for Nuclear weapons to many countries that are now considered enemies… So North Korea wants to test nukes- google earth Nevada-Area 51 to the west is the us Nuclear test site, looks like your looking at the moon HUNDREDS of craters everywhere!

They’d (the elite) be insane to use nuclear technology to complete their goals. I just don’t think they’d take that sort of risk when they have so much more murder technology at their disposal. Even more frightening though is the next generation of mega-bombs; the anti-matter bomb. As far as I am aware, it is next to impossible to collect enough anti-matter through the conventional means (one atom, at a time), though I think it could be likely that a government may just have it in development. It’d take only enough of the stuff to fit on the end of a ball-point pin to wipe a city the size of New York off the map, quite literally.

These were short-range missiles, didn’t get anywhere near Japan, and they weren’t aggressive towards any other nation. There are two possibilities here. One is that this is a full breach of North Korea’s moratorium on missile testing. And this is perhaps one of its longer-range missiles, and it just didn’t go as far as it should have.
The other possibility though is a lot more likely and less sinister: that this is part of an ongoing military exercise, which they often do this time of year. It was probably one of their short-range missiles (it only went about 32 nautical miles out to sea). it’s a type of land-to-sea missile that landed in international waters in the Sea of Japan. The South Korean military is on high alert, but if it is a 60 kilometre land-to-sea missile that would fall within the allowances that North Korea is allowed to work within.
It did happen on the eve of the new South Korean President’s inauguration, so there’s no doubt that North Korea chose its moment very carefully for maximum international effect.
Japan still has an Imperial element and they need any excuse/reason to “get back in the game”; they have killed MANY more Americans than NK, who just wants the international community to know that they are willing to defend themselves. Who have they ever attacked, besides SK, in the Korean War? In 2007, the leaders of North and South Korea pledged to hold summit talks to officially declare the war over and reaffirmed the principle of mutual non-aggression…

Japan is under the protection of the pacific fleet.1)They do have nukes ,Los Angeles class subs setting in the deep 2)They do have missile defense systems , AEGIS cruisers and satelite weapons 3) China is receiving money and resources from the US and is the primary debt holder of a trade imbalance…They want paid not a fight. atleast not untill a US default occurs. So, ALL of the already dirt poor and oppressed citizenry of N. Korea, and potential surrounding opposed countries are to suffer even more due to one egomaniacal leader who never seemed ‘quite right’ to begin with? National and international agencies such as the cia, nsa, mi5, mossad, etc. etc. could not find a way to end his and his family’s reign WITHOUT starting WWIII? There are a thousand ways to short circuit a political career, (if you read Tom Clancy novels) and just maybe these espionage types could earn their keep here and save thousands or millions of innocent lives? I could never figure out why one man (Saddam) merited all of the destruction that has ensued. He could have just suffered a heart attack. Do I read too many political thrillers? I am a woman, and I cannot ever fathom any mother losing a child she’s spent her whole life protecting and caring for to an unwise and ultimately unecessary decision. Only men would think it was OK to attack a whole country, using another whole country, for the acts of one seemingly unstable man. Take the one man out.

Yup, the war between North Korea and Japan should cover the US debits on Japan and China. If I go back to the time like this, I would be targeted by the Japanese Self Defense Force Counter-Intelligence Units who are making lists of anti-war activists. If there is a war breaks out, I would surely stay away from the danger.
Hideki Tojo’s family is in the military. And the war-loving folks like Tamogami wants to change the Japanese constitution. I guess that’s how the WWIII might start.

What I see is a destabilization being created globally where ever possible. The CIA was a key player in helping N. Korea to build and obtain nuclear weapons, is a part of a larger policy/strategy. There are many intelligent analysts to advise our politicians if their goal was to make decisions to stabilize the world into a direction of peace.
This is very obivously not their intention. You can look at all the events and see a strategy designed to increase the possibility for war to not only break out but to spread. Not just in Asia but look at our actions in Iraq and Afghanistan. Now Israel is frothing to attack Iran.
The short little Georgian conflict was enacted to get Russia to be more aggressive in its global policies and it worked as Putin took some decisive action. They ended up making a pact with Iran and agreed to install missiles in Syria. The US has been trying to surround the Russians by converting their ex-satellite states into alleys and make oil deals with them.
Now Russia is working more actively to curtail this.
It is clear that the imperialistic policies of the US are ones of destabilization. The war in the middle east and the control of oil in that region has had China building up their military so that when they need oil, they will be ready to come and forceably take it, anywhere in the world.
Every which way you look on the globe, the setting for world war is being staged. It is a strategy which takes a few years but this is the goal.
The elite will then have their population reduction thru deaths from biological, chemical and nuclear destruction.
I think Paul Watson is writing like “the sky is falling” to get the attention of those who are
in a coma. The burden of alternative news is not just to inform but to awaken the living dead.
One doesn’t have to look too far to see the preparation of our own government in planning martial law actions against its own citizens for the next terror attack. This past year has seen many drills being exercised by the military inside our borders which are designed to respond to martial law, even a biological and/or nuclear attack. This reminds me of the drills NORAD performed in the summer of 2001 just before Sept. 11, that involved senerio’s on how to respond to planes flying into buildings. This was not a coincidence.
It doesn’t take a rock to fall on your head to see what is coming.
I hope no one thinks that the flight of the B-52 from Minot to Barksdale with armed nukes was an accident. Or that the entire loading crew are now dead from a variety of causes which acturial tables would say is impossible odds. Or that two nukes went missing as soon as that B-52 landed. Such things are not mistakes. I expect one or both of those nukes to be used against a US city as a false flag terror attack to once again get the public behind some innane action. The next terror attack has to be bigger than 9/11 or the public won’t change their channel from American Idol.
Don’t focus on a single events only but try to size up the total geo-global long term strategy.

Yeah yeah yeah It will be a biological event and like the H1N1 claimed innocuous but it won’t be. I don’t think you’re gonna see radiologic weapons used in the early stages although it is possible. The nuke threat is being hyped to make the one world government plausible and “needed” The NK has likely got WMD’s and threatens their use as a matter of extorting trade in the region and to threaten Japan who hates being subject to US protection. Japan is not a viable target at any rate unless one intended to destroy the dynamics of the entire Pacific Rim and its dominance in trade…. It would be Asia shooting itself in the foot.

Changing their Constitution is probably not going to be easy. This General wants to start a debate but the country is conservative. The people will oppose any change so they will play it out by defense to see if that works (to the end).
My opinion is that this is a wise move. I think North Korea will not do anything so long as they are left alone.
Any nuclear weapons being used would immediately cause the old war machine to wake up. Japan would have A LOT of well-equipped troops to contribute.

As much as I believe a nuclear conflict is inevitable at some point (as does the US military),this aint going to be it. Japan will not attack N korea,not now anyway. Israel/US are focused on the middle east and US military build up is not complete in afghanistan and pakistan is not secure. I think that N korea could be used as a back door to getting to Iran but not until late this year or next. Striking Iran will lead to conflict with Russia and China as would striking N korea. The US doesnt have all its pieces in place just yet around the world but is probably very close. How our military is going to defeat china and russia without the US being left in ruins is the question.

It’ seems that all the pieces are being put into place for a major war and when it comes….We are gonna be crippled.. The Chinese and Russians are going to hit us first and make it difficult to retaliate…..I know we will destroy their major cities too but man..The Russians have underground factories according to this one guy that was on Coast to Coast…It just doesn’t look like the good ole U.S.A. is gonna come out on top this time..Obama is a clown so far..He used all that nice speech to get in and now he acts like a sissy la la…He probably will give up California to China to pay off some debt…They are conditioning us on TV and stuff..North Korea, Iran, North Korea Iran,..
