Correct: Convert your dollars into food / water filter(s) / basic commodities and larger amounts of cash into gold and silver. Also, following T. Russell Benedict comment, make sure you are right with God. Do whatever it takes, and know this – if you have a heart toward asking God into your life – it is God enabling you. God’s enablement proves that God loves you and is bringing you home to him. While we are doing all that is obvious to stop evil, we are not worried because we know God has the whole situation in hand. Get yourself right, tell others of your hope, and join the fight to establish righteousness.

No, but you could sell it or trade it and get food and water. This is the whole point.

I dont think you understand Gold and silver, as a store of money. You store iyour money in Gold /silver until you need it.

Our greed has finally got the best of us. A society which has consistently tried to erase its moral base for more than 40 years is finally paying the price of becoming a society with no financial ethics or morals. If we don’t return to our moral and spiritual roots as a nation, then this economic collapse is simply the beginning of the end of life as we enjoy it. Furthermore, we cannot excommunicate God from our daily lives and still expect Him to bless us or protect us from our own folly. Of course, prepare. Be ready for worse. And get your own heart right before God as your first step. Nothing else will work right unless the heart is right. Ask forgiveness of Him. Ask Him to use you to bring change and good into your world. Ask that His son Jesus be your personal saviour. God protects those hearts/souls that humbly and sincerely place themselves in the shadow of His wing. He just does. He’s God. And He takes care of His own.

This is sound advice. Buy food, water, and basic emergency supplies. You can’t eat gold and silver. Have cash on hand to pay your monthly bills for a couple of months if possible. You should have a fire arm. Blah blah blah. You know the drill by now. Stay strong.

I think the gov. wants to set up bread lines, but I don’t think you’re going to want to eat that bread. That’s my gut instinct.

now I´m watching for a long time, what happens with the financal system….
BUT in your situation, I can´t understand, why you leave AND TRUST YOUR MONEY to save it for you??????!!!!!!!??????
See the bank failures ….and the bail outs….now the SUPER BAILOUT….and the bailouts that come and the failures of banks that come…..
The ONLY solution for each individual is to buy Gold to resist that, what WILL COME. But Gold is NOT OPTIMAL for you….because they can forbid it as they had done before!!!! Silver for you is more optimal, BUT..IT IS NEARLY SOLD OUT!!!!!!!!!
…So go and save yout money!!!!! TRUST NO BANK AND NO OTHER FINANCIAL INSTITUTION!!!!! They only want your best….YOUR MONEY!!!!!
To explain everything is to difficult and my english is not good enough!!!
BUT THERE ARE SOME OTHER BOMBS in the system that can explode every day…..!!!

Could this be the beginning of a repeat of the other Great Depression? It also happened in September (1929) but was not actually felt in its full intensity until early in 1930 (thes were the days of my mum and nanna’s youth) is what family members told me about that Black Friday. This one came on another day of the week — Europe is also especially vulnerable and the Asian market, with the exception of Tokyo is already feeling it. The Tokyo market has invested much of its own money (billions of dollars worth according to the BBC World Service) to keep their investors from panicking but billions were lost here. I hope we can avoid the financial grab felt in Argentina in the late 80’s and early 09’s. Looks like the time is right to tighten the ol’ belt America…
