Corporate media forced to charged dwindling readership for news content as establishment propaganda organs wither and die while alternative media soars

Rupert Murdoch: Internet Will Soon Be Over 070509top

Billionaire media mogul Rupert Murdoch gave a strange response when asked about plans for mainstream news websites to charge for content, declaring, “The current days of the internet will soon be over.”

He was making reference to the fact that corporate media websites cannot continue to survive under their current failing business model.

The establishment media is dying and advertising revenue has plummeted as people turn to blogs and the alternative media for their news in an environment of corporate lies and spin.

This has forced sectors of the corporate media to charge the dwindling number of loyal readers they have left for news content, a practice which is set to become widespread according to Murdoch. This will only send more people over to the alternative media as the old organs of de facto state-controlled propaganda wither and die.

“Asked whether he envisaged fees at his British papers such as the Times, the Sunday Times, the Sun and the News of the World, (Murdoch) replied: “We’re absolutely looking at that,” reports the Guardian. “Taking questions on a conference call with reporters and analysts, he said that moves could begin “within the next 12 months‚” adding: “The current days of the internet will soon be over.”

Murdoch’s newspapers and TV networks, which include Fox News and the Asian Star Network, have seen profits plummet from $216m to just $7m year-on-year. MySpace.com is also floundering despite a recent move to replace the company’s entire management staff.

It was all but over for the Boston Globe this week, following a threat to close the 137-year-old publication after net losses of $85 million this year alone. Only a last minute cost-cutting agreement on behalf of its owner, The New York Times Company, and The Boston Newspaper Guild, saved the newspaper.

    (ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW)

Rupert Murdoch: Internet Will Soon Be Over obama 340x169

But it’s not just establishment newspapers that are struggling to survive – social networking websites like Twitter and corporate online video giant You Tube are also deep in the red. Apparently, paying out millions in server fees for half the population of the planet to watch clips of cute puppies isn’t a sustainable business model.

This is why You Tube is being forced to pursue lucrative partnerships with giant production studios and broadcasters, at the expense of user generated content which has been relegated to a sub-section of its website, taking the “You” out of You Tube altogether. Content that may be deemed harmful to You Tube’s corporate agenda and its multi-million dollar partnership deals, like The Alex Jones Channel, is being systematically erased from You Tube’s website under the pretext of flimsy copyright infringement claims.

The jig is up for the corporate media. If they continue to allow free access to their content they will go out of business because there’s not enough advertising revenue coming in, whereas if they charge for content they will lose a huge chunk of their audience and their influence in shaping the news agenda will wane completely.

This is the price the corporate media has paid for lying, spinning and obfuscating on behalf of the virulently corrupt power elite and expecting the population to eat it up without question.

The corporate media monopoly has terminal cancer and they are losing their power, which is why they are aggressively supporting moves to phase out the old Internet altogether and replace it with “Internet 2,” a highly regulated and controlled electronic Berlin wall, where alternative voices will be silenced and giant corporate propaganda organs will dominate once again.

This what Murdoch is really getting at when he assures us that, “The Internet will soon be over” and it’s down to us to stop that agenda from being realized.

What do you think people will do when they can’t get their alternative media websites like Drudge? What do you think people will do when they can’t make money on the internet anymore? Do you really think the ISP’s are going to fuck their customers so blatantly? They will try and the backlash will be too much. They care about money too. Murdoch doesn’t know it but he’s sliding downhill and no way up.

Just like after 9/11 this will happen swiftly and suddenly – and Americans will rejoice at their new Digital Dystopia!

How is this a dumb post? “Unknown” government elements DID perpetrate 9/11. The Federal government DID respond to this “sporadic event” with leagues of laws/acts/wars that (documents have shown) that existed decades of more before they were perpetrated. Even if you used the argument that they were designed contingency measures dreamed up by think thanks, the acts are to exact to be believed.

Internet 2 IS REAL. It has been designed, and its architecture will be similar to how “A Patriot” described it. It will be centrally controlled and regulated, and have tiered levels of access and content. Just google “Internet 2″ and read a few sites detailing how it will be formed and how ISPs will support it.

As to “A Patriot’s” final point that there will be a contrived event that precipitates a “9/11-esque” response, just look to past stories regarding supposed “Chinese penetration into the U.S. electrical grid” and other tales supposing foreign enemies terrorizing U.S. commerce via the web. It is hard to pinpoint exactly what will happen, but the smart money is on a contrived, carefully orchestrated maneuver; in tandem with 9/11.

There is ALOT of conjecture regarding these topics, as compartmentalization and very complex mechanics make up a single “EVENT.” These events are literally years in the making, having every step and contingency pre-planned and mitigating measures installed.

      Wouldn’t matter what you’re running.
Although there could be additional content control mechanisms on the client-side, the architecture would not rely solely on, or be dependent upon, the client-side. The systems doing the content access/rights management would be at the content source or the ISP level, obviously. You ain’t getting over because you’re running a Mac.
Also, don’t think Apple wouldn’t jump all over a digital rights management system. Apple would love to see the end to file sharing.

      JesuitNWO Reply:

I wonder how much of the commerce will be regulated by a centrally regulated Internet 2. Assuming the event penetrates the grid and acts like a “cyber-bomb” that cripples internet commerce, I would assume that measures would be employed to “prevent such a terrible thing” from happening again. This would bring about a host of draconian measures regarding the strength of IT security, etc. Now why would this be a big deal you ask? It would drive out many of the smaller IT firms and Internet-centered business that may not be able to afford new IT security measures.

We would see a new surge in corporate dominance and industry restructuring like we saw in the 80s and 90s, however on an unprecedented scale. The Internet allows even the little guy a taste of the globalization pie, and Big Business and her big brother whore don’t like the sound of that one bit.

I’ve been working together with a group of other people with Degrees in Networking Theory, and Information Technology. We’re trying to come up with some way we can still maintain a private internet.

One similar to Linux that is entirely user generated, and self supported.

One that CANNOT be filtered by large corporations, because large corporations won’t have a part or place in it.

Earlier in the life of internet, BBS’s and Telnet services were how the real news spread. Private channels that until the 90’s were still open to bravely say what no one else would. From the 90s into 2000, private channels such as private FTP servers or secured website were made and IRC was used for places where you could freely express worries and compare notes about how horrible the condition of the world was becoming.

It’s time for a new form of digital underground. This time it’s By the People, For the People, FROM the People.

      Vladilyich Reply:

You’re absolutely right. They own the backbone of the Internet and the NSA controls it. It would be a simple matter to filter any protocol that isn’t approved.

      A Patriot Reply:

This is the real problem for sure.

However – an Open Source “FREENET” should still be completed on paper – so taht we have an alternative soultion the the upcoming, centralized, Internet 2.

We have to be realist as well – tho – and realize the current freedom of the net is nearly at a close.

Download all truth promoting cotnent you can from youtube / websites now and archive it locally so that we can rebuild after the fall.

      ME Reply:

Then again, you could look into Ham Radio and data transmission. The materials to do this are pretty expensive, but it could be done. If you have a central point (high-powered Ham Radio system), you could then allow people in your area (probably within 1-2 miles) to connect to you using smaller systems (or maybe even some modified wireless network equipment).

But, these central points would all have to be able to talk to eachother, and the ranges of those depends on the amount of power used and FCC regulations. My guess would be 20 miles max between central points. You’d basically have a huge mesh network of Ham/Wireless systems that would hopefully be able to talk to eachother. Kind of a neat idea, but it would take some organization and a resistance to corruption by greater powers.

      Mike in Michigan Reply:

The FCC controls the frequencies. 11 meter (length of transmition wave) is CB radio. 10 meter is ham that requires a permit (nobody hardly ever gets it) but is really not enforced. 2 meter however is a different story. You have to pass a test and get a license to posses and operate. 2 meter is what the police use like what you hear on a scanner which is why you can’t drive your car with a scanner inside. However, if you have a license for 2 meter, in essense you have a scanner only you can talk to them too. I don’t remember what it’s called but the police also have another system that scrambles the transmition so it’s all jarbled over the air, unless you have one of their recievers. In Michigan, the state police can talk on the radio from an Indiana border position to the U. P. Another form of communication is FM but this is very short range but very clear. Big farmers like to use Fm. In short, Big Brother’s got the airwaves covered too.

      Dragon's Eye Reply:

The only problem I see with this idea is the fact that private “amateur” radio will become a thing of the past! There will be NO private two-way radios under future administrations. This is one of the reasons that many corporations are trying to buy out all of the remaining frequency bands! The FCC has consistently ruled in favor of the biggest corporations.

The only real option there left is in “pirate radio”.

      anonymous anarchist Reply:

word! a friend of mine built short wave transmitters for tv and radio, but the piracy laws are very feirce and we never put them to use. maybe after this whole digital switch over is finished we will put them to use.
also, there will have to be some sort of access for sites like this, there is way too much money made off of advertising for them to lose. what i feel is going to happen is that rupert and his rich friends will go on a buying spree, but they will allow sites like these to stay on. they will try their best to popularize and commercialize underground movements such as this, and sadly they will be successful at it, they have droves of marketing geniuses at their disposal.

The technology is already there. The anonymous networks (I2P, TOR).
Of course you may say, they will block their protocols – yes, but in the digital arms races we are always superior, we must be – look at filesharing for instance!

      ME Reply:

They could classify IP addresses by customer/provider. In this way, they could limit those deemed as “customers” to only be able to *send* to “providers”. In TCP/IP (computer language of the web), you have Send and Receive. One example of a SEND request is when you request a web page. When this happens, your browser sends an HTTPGET command to the web server, which basically says “hey, server.com, send me your index.html”. If they wanted to control the web, they’d limit SEND requests to those deemed as “providers”, so that no two “customers” could ever communicate. The two fields of concern in the SEND command are GET and HOST. HOST is the server name (www.yahoo.com). If the host isn’t on the approved list, they could (and would) deny your request, and you’d get a blank page.

As it is right now, every computer on the internet has the ability to connect to any other computer, provided security measures are taken down (firewalls, etc). Generally there is no barrier except that which exists on your computer (or network) and my computer (or network). (Thats why we invest so heavily in Security software like Firewalls and Anti-virus programs.) They could limit who your browser can SEND (HTTPGET) to only certain ranges of IPs by installing a Firewall at the highest level of the domain structure, the root domains, of which there are 13. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Root_nameserver)

This firewall could also deny web traffic by packet filtering. They could deny your GET command if you try to connect to a host that is not in the “Providers” list. So your personal (or “unlisted”) web server would be limited to those people who happen to be on your network, and possibly some on your ISP. And even those on your ISP would have to be geographically close by. Of course the “customer” would still be able to browse web sites approved and regulated. This same method could be employed on any other protocol (FTP, Telnet, IRC).

They could even close all but a handful of ports (HTTP, DNS, etc) which are essential for operation. They could even make the DNS registration process too expensive and complicated for anyone to complete.

TOR, I2P, and any Filesharing software depend on the internet being open, thus allowing any computer to connect to any other computer. The methods above would prevent such software from working. A scary scenario indeed.

All it would take is one upstart ISP to offer unfiltered access after that point.

Not to mention, Time Warner tried “Internet 2″ already in one community as a test, and it failed miserably.

      JesuitNWO Reply:

Again, upstart ISPs only work in smaller areas where it is not economically feasible for the big boys to go in and lay cable. This wouldn’t be effective, since cable is becoming ever more cheap and plentiful. Anyone remember Obama calling for broadband to be laid all over the U.S. ASAP? Kiss any new upstarts goodbye. Only way that works is if you get off the corporate lines. A WAN is the only affordable way. There are several peices of hardware available that allow for each unit to act as a repeater, creating a user supported network.

      mayor_pufnstuf Reply:

To get off corporate lines would mean laying cable dedicated to this WAN. Using fibre to interconnect the LANs in the WAN is cost prohibitive. CAT5 can be used on the cheap. The cabling + the repeaters, assuming to take the middle-ground of speed/distance on the repeaters, would come in at about $.25 per foot. Not too bad, but 20Mbps is hardly a large pipe. Not by today’s standards.

Why not? Because most knew the channel would just find another host anyway. Not to mention, the InfoWars channel is still active. Complaining to YouTube would do nothing in the long run so long as there is someplace else to go, and some of these video sites are hosted in places that don’t care about copyright in the first place.

When it comes down to it, the most free alternative will eventually win out. One need only look at the decline of Microsoft Windows to see that (at last note, I believe their market share has dropped from 97% back in 2000 to 84% and falling). When MS was lax with product keys, they ruled the roost. Now with WGA getting more and more strict, and MS trying to put up more and more roadblocks to Windows XP (which most tests say is still overall MS’ best Windows system), people are switching to Linux (which is free) and MacOS X (which requires no activation code, allowing for people to use the same install disc for multiple machines…and yes, with enough know-how, you can install MacOS X on Intel Core PC architecture (including the Atom).

They can’t just tier the Internet into “Internet 2″, because all it would take is one ISP to say “no, we’re not doing that”, and that will be the ISP everyone flocks to (and it would happen, too, simply because at that point it would make good business sense). Because of that, any ISP that makes the switch would doom itself to financial ruin. Time Warner learned that fact in an “Internet 2″ test in one of their communities last month. No one wanted the tiered ‘net.

Why do you think AOL stopped charging by the hour in 1996? Why do you think telcos started charging flat-rate long-distance soon afterward? The “all-you-can-eat-for-one-price” business model has proven to be the most effective when it comes to service provision, and it would be financial suicide to revert.

    17. Carl Says:

I think the wireless idea has merit, instead of HAM or shortwave how about a mesh network using 802.11a/b/g? there is software out there now (free) that you can obtain and load on your SOHO AP’s/routers to make this a reality almost over night. Most of the consumer wireless access points (sold at places like B E S T B U Y) run a linux OS that can be modded to support this. everyone that wants to host a node would probably need a couple of AP’s (one to repeat and one to connect to the other repeater. thus you can use the router function to firewall your internal network/LAN.

      Just a thought guys.

      ME Reply:

Ham would generally be more reliable and better over a distance. I think I’d go with Ham radio+data for backbone functions and use wireless 802.11 for more local stuff. The thing is, millions would have to be on the system to make it worthwhile. And then you have the problem of being able to use it across the ocean.

And yes you can certainly tweak the 802.11 stuff you get at retail stores. You can even increase its power usage and even build a small dish to help with its range. It really is a neat idea, but so many would have to participate. You’d have to have a line of repeaters following the interstates or something…hehe.

This darkness is an infestation that’s fighting increasing knowledge and increasing intelligence of people the world over because the glory of God is what? Intelligence. Thus, Rupert Murdochs statement about shutting down the internet and other statements from his like-minded friends who had no understanding of the power of the internet are simple reflections their understanding of the power of the internet and for them it’s too late.

      Annie Reply:

Those that rule in Israel, under Noahide/Talmudic law {look it up it’s a shocker} and those that support their agenda. Or you can look at the wikipedia entry below.

Zionism is the international Jewish political movement that originally supported the reestablishment of a homeland for the Jewish People in Palestine. The area was the Jewish Biblical homeland, called the Land of Israel (Hebrew: Eretz Yisra’el). Since the creation of Israel, the Zionist movement continues primarily as support for the modern state of Israel.[1]

Zionism is largely based on the concept of historical ties and religious traditions linking the Jewish people to the Land of Israel, where the concept of Jewish nationhood first evolved somewhere between 1200 BCE and the late Second Temple era (i.e. up to 70 CE).[2][3] The modern movement was mainly founded by secular Jews, beginning largely as a response by European Jewry to antisemitism across Europe.[4] It is a branch of the broader phenomenon of modern nationalism.[5] Initially one of several Jewish political movements offering alternative responses to assimilation and the position of Jews in Europe, Zionism grew rapidly and after the Holocaust became the dominant power among Jewish political movements.

The political movement was formally established by the Austro-Hungarian journalist Theodor Herzl in the late 19th century following the publication of “Der Judenstaat”.[6] The movement seeks to encourage Jewish migration to the “Land of Israel” and was eventually successful in establishing Israel in 1948, as the homeland for the Jewish people. Its proponents regard its aim as self-determination for the Jewish people.[7] The percentage of world Jewry living in Israel has steadily grown since the movement came into existence. Today roughly 40% of the world’s Jews live in Israel. A similar number live in the United States (see American Jews).

      Annie Reply:

Oh and by the way, we have two states that are segregated in the world, and they are Israel and Utah. When do freedom lovers get a state? Oh, and by the way, Israel is not one of the United States allies either. Why? Because you have to have established borders to be an allie to another country; and Israels continued annexation of Palestine makes them ineligible for being an American allie. Something alot of people don’t know. Israel has never helped us with our wars….have they?????

The bush administration knew 9/11 was going to happen and let it happen because it fit there agenda. It’s obvious that they didn’t write the Patriot Act after 9/11, it would have taken much too long.
Look up William Cooper predicts 9/11 on you tube. This guy said specifically that it was going to be Bin Laden who would take the blame for it.
This shit is real. This is really happening. The fascists are taking over, and the only way to stop it is to accept it and deal with it.

      Reconmarine Reply:

      Jeff-
I could beleive they let it happen on purpose, or allowed certain things to go unchecked or took actions to prevent certain responses. If the 9/11 plot was interrupted, Bush would have had a hard time getting congress to approve allowing the FAA to put in solidified cock pits, let alone fighting Al Qaeda in Afghanistan. So letting it happen could have been justified by some to motivate others formerly reluctant, to take action against our enemies.
( I don’t agree with that, if in fact that’s what happened)

Like the MIHOP conspiracy theories, I also find the LIHOP scenario difficult because it would be extremely hard to keep it all secret. Others will show examples of us keeping secrets in the past as an example of how 9/11 could have been kept secret, but 9/11 is nothing like anything in our past…So really not comparable.

Ill google William Cooper later but FYI, there were MANY people who knew it was coming. MANY. A guy in jail in Canada told his guards details of everything that was gonna happen; tactics and targets, but nobody took it serious.

All ebay sellers would lose buisness wich inturn would cause job loss for delivery services, factories. It would undoubtedly start a chain reaction wich would lead to the end of the world. Could you imagine if wal-mart was to have to shut down every store overnight? “Shutting down the Web” should be considered a weapon of mass destruction and for a man announcing the plans of doing it should be classified as a decleration of war on the world.

I read the Guardian link in Paul Watson’s article—-Im not defending Murdoch because he’s an old fucking prick windbag whose continued existence on Earth is as mysterious as the cigarette smoking man on the X Files, but nowhere in the Guardian article does it even imply that Murdoch is talking about the ENTIRE internet. Hes only talking about the newspaper websites, not the internet in general. Occasionally, PP sensationalizes stories the same as the mainstream media does, and Paul Watson’s headline is a tad disingenuous. Murdoch did not say the very words “Internet Will Soon Be Over”. This headline was for shock value purposes so people would immediately see the headline and yell out loud “WHAT THE FUCK?” and read the article. Watson is right about one thing in his article…..this part “This will only send more people over to the alternative media as the old organs of de facto state-controlled propaganda wither and die.”–and this part “The jig is up for the corporate media. If they continue to allow free access to their content they will go out of business because there’s not enough advertising revenue coming in, whereas if they charge for content they will lose a huge chunk of their audience and their influence in shaping the news agenda will wane completely. This is the price the corporate media has paid for lying, spinning and obfuscating on behalf of the virulently corrupt power elite and expecting the population to eat it up without question.”

I was going to post this artile on my own site, but it has the same spin in it that Watson talks about being in mainstream news, so I cant use it.

So, listen to the devil Rupert Murdoch makes me in this case very happy, because I feel it coming … “The Free World of Information” !

You have to check out my business plan in order to see why I am saying this.

I have a business plan that would get everyone out of debt and allow them to be their own boss at the same time. All it takes is a website that can proform pretty much the same functions as eBay.

EBAY got started at the cost of $5,000.000 I could use that same technology to put every single adult to work for themselves earning over $150,000.00 a year if I had the backing to build the website for about $3 mil.

If Interested in putting such a website together contact me. My email address is: yourhelphands@aol.com

The website would allow all users to become financially independant. While everyone out there is thinking that the solution to what is driving them crazy is about get them before they get you. All I can tell you for sure is that they are going to get us because they have the destructive forces on their side and the fear that it invokes will cause people to receive the mark of the wild beast

At least while there still is an Internet it can be used to leverage the financial aspect of the equation!

I will gladly email the business plan that I have put together to anyone that is interested, so that YOU can see how this can be done!

By the way, the idea no doubt will produce the riches Corporation in the world if they don’t pull the plug on the Internet and this wicked system of things before it can get a solid year run.

They never expected this kind of resistance to crop up all over the world and now they are scared too death that no one wants to read ‘their’ take on it. It’s like everything else in this world, what goes up, way up, must come down. They created it and now they want to destroy it because it has become FRANKENSTEIN, and they have lost their grip. shiver shiver American media, your time is about up.

    85. Troxel Says:

      S. 773: Cybersecurity Act of 2009 is a farce. Congresses ability to cloth a bill in a name that has nothing to do with the contents follows recent year’s history. If congress wanted to reinforce cyber security all they need to do is reinforce their gate keeper code, meaning accessibility to their mainframes. This bill is an over achiever bill that has far too many powers for its purpose. Such as the following section:

April 1, 2009, version, Section 14, part (b) FUNCTIONS – The Secretary of Commerce – (1) shall have access to all relevant data concerning such networks without regard to any provision of law, regulation, rule, or policy restricting such access.

This bill will result in government sponsored censorship of the internet. Any website deemed unfit for consumer consumption will be removed. The internet is the last resource of uncensored free speech. Little by little, corporate and government are eroding this last resource. For example, You Tube censorship under the guise of copy write protection has removed large sections of content, such as free speech/thinker “Alex Jones,” and any discussion regarding 911. Two government organizations are foaming at the mouth to have access to moderate the internet, National Security Agency (which is doing domestic phone spy program) and Home Land Security. Knowledge is power is the old saying. Centralizing and moderating free speech has been done with the forth estate, don’t let them do this with the internet. Trust in our central government was the coin used by Bush to start two wars; government under any other name has lost this element.

Murdoch said he is teaming up with Bill Gates and they’re going to spend billions of dollars to send two Astronuts to the Sun to cut off power to the internet once AND for all. Reporters who were present looked somewhat confounded by this statement and asked Murdoch how this was possible since the Sun would burn anything and anyone who got too close to it.

Murdoch, looking awfully disgusted, pounded his hand down on the podium and pointing to the reporter, blurted out, “Sir, you’re taking me for an Ass and I find great offense in that! It is a matter of fact that anyone and anything would obviously be burned beyond recognition if they approach the sun and thats WHY, we’re going to send them at night!”

I cant believe there are still people who think internet is a free place as it used to be or was meant to be.

It is no longer a freedom place of information exchange and it will just get worst. The reality is that if not all of them, a huge amount of websites are sponsored by some kind of people not really interested in the propagation of truth as it would disturb them a little bit and they dont like to be disturbed. But in case they are threatned even slightly, you can expect a massive retaliation. That’s what happens in all medias why with internet would be different?

Besides, there are many other kind of websites which claim to proclaim ( a rhyme?) the truth, however, they are just a trap.

It’s profitable ( financially and strategically – by all means) to concentrate a group of readers sharing the same interests in order to study them, identify them, persecute them, chase them if it is needed and above all, spread lies among truths to confuse them and change the focus of the real thing.

      Reconmarine,

There is an old saying, “if you give a dishonest man enough rope, he will hang himself.”

I have gone through your last 200 posts, and there’s only about a dozen or so in which you do not call someone a shithead, a moron, an idiot, or a fucking-this-or-that, and several other inflammatory remarks that I am sure most of the readers of this blog are tired of seeing in your posts as much as I am.

You have NOT proved your point once here, only in your own mind. You toss out your talking points and then browbeat the person you are addressing, with ad hominems and belittling comments, typical of a DI rather than someone who is debating with the citizen population. And once you have the individual sufficiently beaten down with your name calling and straw men you confuse that with making a point. Your present mindset is precisely why the founders loathed a standing military, and why posse comitatus was created.

I suggest that you invest in a volume on the art of debate, and pay particularly close attention to the chapters on fallacious arguments. Once you have read and comprehend it, you will understand why you being censured here. You have insulted and browbeat just about everyone who has attempted debate or even engage in conversation with you. The people here are not your subordinates, these are private citizens for the most part, the people that the Constitution protects, the one you swore to defend, while at the same time signing away many of your constitutional rights under the UCMJ.

You have red herring-ed this present article so far off topic it is almost laughable. Unfortunately your red herrings always make the topic about you. Well… the topic is NOT about you. However, I’ll tell you something that I have gleaned about you, Sergeant… you treat your subordinates like crap, yet trip over yourself kissing your CO’s derriere…

You may continue to post, but if I don’t like it… it will go in the trash heap with the rest of your fallacious garbage. If you are going to argue a point, be prepared to explain it thoroughly, and completely, without name-calling, changing or clouding the subject, etc. Before answering however be prepared to back up your claims with science where science is called for, or keep your mouth shut… Poisoning the well and messenger shooting will not be tolerated…

And… you can begin your first post by explaining why .01% or so, of the dust residue recovered from Ground Zero contains undetonated thermite compounds…

Don’t answer it in this thread however. You will find an appropriate 9/11 thread in which to post. I am tired of your egocentric 9/11 rants spilling over into virtually every thread on these boards… ALSO, before you post another word I want you to go here http://forum.prisonplanet.com/.....pic=2911.0 and familiarize yourself with the rules of these forums… otherwise you can go elsewhere.

Remember, the citizen population of this country are the ones that are protected by the Constitution, you Marine, for the most part, are not and will not be until you retire to civilian status… remember that!

    99. wisdom Says:

      Origins for surname Murdoch….

There are 4 possible roots for the surname Murdoch, some more plausible than others. Like the majority of Scots, most Murdochs are unlikely to originate from a purely tartan kilted Highland Clan origin:
      1. Norse origins. Around the beginning of the 9thC, much of Scotland (like the rest of Western Europe) was attacked by Scandinavians or Vikings. In Scotland’s case they were from Norway. At first it was effectively pirate raids on the coast but with growing populations and land shortages in Scandinavia, settlers soon followed. Parts of Scotland became part of Norway and Norse displaced Gaelic: Hebrides, Caithness, Orkney and Shetland. In two other areas: Galloway and Moray/Banff large numbers of Norse are known to have settled. They intermarried with Gaels and in Galloway became the firely independent Gallgaels. Gaelic remained the language as Gaels probably outnumbered Norse in these areas.

Those among these societies who had Norse ancestry might well have been known as murchadh – sea warriors. To this date the statistical evidence clearly shows the largest concentrations of Murdochs, relative to other surnames, lie in these two areas. My own believe is that this is where most Murdochs come from. My own Murdoch ancestry can be traced back to Galloway and I assume somewhere, a thousand and more years ago my roots lie with a Norse warrior who settled to become a farmer among the Gaels.

      2. From trade associated with the sea. There is possibly also a more modern derivation of the name which should be considered. In its original, muireach – mariner, some people may have adopted Murdoch as a surname because of their trade associated with the sea. While this might be true, evidence does point away from it. While as a first name Murdoch can occur anywhere it is not a surname found around the entire Scottish Gaelic speaking coast. It is a coastal surname of the SW and Moray only. While Murdoch has a ’sea’ meaning in Gaelic there appears to be no such meaning in the Scots language. Most Murdochs probably come from Galloway in SW Scotland where Gaelic ceased to be widely spoken much earlier than the Central Highlands. It seems to me more probably that the surname came about for reasons of past history and ancestry rather than employment as the word murdoch doesn’t appear in Scots.

      3. The Murdochs with Clan MacPherson association took the name as son of Mhuirich the Parson (12thC), literally Mac Pherson. In this they where MacPhersons but stating it in another way. The Murdochs are said tend to be on the fringes of the MacPherson lands raising the possiblity that the Murdochs adopted the name to join the MacPherson Clan and thus gain protection. MacPherson roots lie on the west coast around present day Fort William which explains why they later used the forename Mhuirich (the seaman) when they lived far from the sea.

While Clan members were obviously blood related by intermarriage as time passed, it is also apparent that migrations took place, new lands were take over (presumably including many existing inhabitants) and groups joined other Clans for political reasons. What is important is that a Clan felt a common bond of kinship and as in any warrior, Clan based culture put loyalty to the Clan and Chief above all else.

      4. Murdochs of the Southern Isles Another possiblity which has been put to me is that Murdochs of the Southern Isles claim to be ’sons’ of the great Muiredach O Daly (1180 – 1222 ) of the Clan Donald. O Daly was a great bard who had trained in Ireland. The Donald Clan can claim to be different from many other Clans in that it’s power and authority predated the hybrid Celtic/Norman Fuedal system. Their place in Scotland goes back to a much more ancient time beyond the realms of documented history and into the Celtic Mythology which Scots share with Ireland.

O Daly’s own ancestors included the ancient Irish Royals – the legendary Conn of the Battles, 110th King of Ireland (~177), Caibre Liffechar 117th King of Ireland founder of the Dalriada, Nial Mhor 126th King and Muireadach, King of Aileach (d 480)! Many Gaelic poems can attributed to Muiredach O Daly. He settled in Islay at the court of the Donalds in 1213 after being forced, for his own safety, out of Ireland after an unfortunate incident with a member of powerful O Donnel family. O Daly in alleged to have almost split the man in two with a battle axe after rent was demanded of him! So widespread and appreciated were his works that the title – Muiredach Albanach – was bestowed upon him. In the later part of his life, O Daly is said to have gone on a Pilgrimage to Rome.

But now the bombshell …. Those of the surname Currie can show that the soft or even silent ‘mh’ was anglicised to’c’ and that their roots lie in the Southern Isles and that the paragraphs above concern their ancestors. They consider the inhabitants of Dun Mhurrich in Loch Sween to be their forefathers. (Ref. With Sword and Harp, Clan Mhurrich (Currie), The Warrior Poets by WM Currie of Balilone FSA published in 1977 by Heatherbank Press, Milngavie.) There is considerable doubt about any Murdoch roots in the Southern Isles!

    100. wisdom Says:

      Surname: Murdoch
This interesting name is Gaelic in origin, and is the Anglicized form of two Gaelic personal named that, over time, have coalesced into one, usually written as “Muire(adh)ach”. The two original names were “Muiredach”, a derivative of “muir”, sea, which meant “belonging to the sea”, a mariner and “Murchad”, meaning “sea-warrior”. The resulting personal name was introduced into Yorkshire before the Norman Conquest of 1066 by Norwegians from Ireland, and is recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086 as “Murdac, Murdoc” and “Meurdoch”. The modern surname is thought of as Scottish, but it was not until the reign of William the Lion, King of Scotland (1165 – 1214) that one Walter Murdoch is recorded as witness to several charters. William Murdoch (1754 – 1839), the inventor of gas-lighting, was proclaimed a deity by the Shah of Persia, who believed him to be a re-incarnation of

Merodach or Marduk, “God of Light”. NIBIRU PEOPLE WAKE UP FRO HEAVENS SAKE USE YOUR MINDS

The first recorded spelling of the family name is shown to be that of Geoffrey Murdac, which was dated 1130, in the “Pipe Rolls of Yorkshire”, during the reign of King Henry 1, known as “The Lion of Justice”, 1100 – 1135. Surnames became necessary when governments introduced personal taxation. In England this was known as Poll Tax. Throughout the centuries, surnames in every country have continued to “develop” often leading to astonishing variants of the original spelling.

He means that for him, and his free news it’s over and that includes the likes of Myspace and all the other stuff he bought out but wants to charge for.

He’s replacing his management with internet savvy marketing types who know how to make money but the internet savvy people will always out do them by being one step ahead.

PP is my main source of news that matters at the moment along with a handful of other good indy’s but they’re in the same boat in that they need money to survive so if you want the news you want that will wake more people up then give what you can afford to them otherwise they might go down the same road…

To sit back and think that it can’t happen is ignorant and I refuse to be one that thinks like that. EU Calls for “Internet G12″ for Global Internet Governance 7 May 2009 | 7:03 pm Infowars

      Daniel Taylor
      Old Thinker News
      May 7, 2009

As the EU Observer reports, Information Society Commissioner Viviane Reding has called on President Obama to fully privatize the California based Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), which manages the web address system for the internet, and build a “multilateral forum for governments to discuss general internet governance policy and security issues.” The international group would in turn “make recommendations” with regards to global internet governance.

Reding is anticipating the expiration of the ICANN contract with the U.S. Department of Commerce in September of 2009, calling for a separation of ICANN from its U.S. ties, making ICANN an international organization. Reding states,

“The expiry of the agreement between ICANN and the US government “opens the door for the full privatisation of ICANN, and it also raises the question of to whom ICANN should be accountable.”

“In the long run, it is not defendable that the government department of only one country has oversight of an internet function which is used by hundreds of millions of people in countries all over the world,” Reding said.

Reding’s comments provide a window into a wider agenda to transform the internet. Reding stated in October of 2008 that, “The Internet of the future will radically change our society.” Ultimately, according to Reding, the EU is aiming to “lead the way” in the transformation to “Web 3.0.”

Media Kingpin Rupert Murdoch recently announced that “The current days of the internet will soon be over,” indicating the establishment’s move to radically transform the internet away from its current form. Paul Joseph Watson writes, “The establishment media is dying and advertising revenue has plummeted as people turn to blogs and the alternative media for their news in an environment of corporate lies and spin.”

      Watson continues,

If they change the internet, it won’t be worth messing with at all. They want us watching TV and their propaganda instead. I don’t want their brain-washing crap myself.

Hey Murdoch, I will start doing hobbies, sports, and whatever, and stop watching TV period.

Can you smell the BOYCOTT of all TV stations by Americans.

We don’t like to be forced to do what others want us to do unless it is our own choice.

      Overcast Reply:

Yeah, they better watch it – we might start getting out and being even more proactive. “The jig is up” on the news. Too late; Pandora’s box is open. go on your happy internet 2, and I’ll stay right here. This is another reason why Murdoch is a billionaire, he is quite a few steps ahead of the everybody else. Although money is the reason for his pursuit to get involved with the alternative media. People are slowly waking up to main stream media”s lies and propaganda and Murdoch can see where the advertising dollars will be. Internet 2 would be no surprise at the moment the elite feel they do not have enough control of it.

    112. GCC Radio Says:

Internet 2 will be boring seriously! There will be nothing to do online with internet 2. Internet 2 means 1. More Boredom 2. Regulated and Net Nanny Secure. Look I am not going to pay for internet that is like High School regulated. The internet should not be ever regulated, its up to the enterprises, place of business or parents to regulate and filter it. Murdoch is doing this because hes a greedy old man, and has no sympathy for the poor and understanding of people of all ages. BTW, I bought a charger from and yes it was made in China. Did it work? NO! Murdoch has got a special place very warm too in hell for him. I bet Murdoch does not even take a shower everyday and does not brush his teeth. I can smell him emitting an foul odor from my computer screen. Also here’s the truth, When I looked at his picture the light from the PC gave me a migraine and I had to take a ibuprofen.

    113. Frank Fredenburg Says:

Those that think the American people wont allow them to silence the Internet, have already forgotten the lessons of 9/11! Who would have thought Americans would have allowed the American government to pass all of the unconstitutional laws that happened after that day. They were told we need to do this to protect the country and the people rolled over and gave them everything they wanted. I personally know two people that feel the Internet is dangerous. Multiply that by millions. All they will have to do is, say the Internet is a hotbed of terrorist activity and they have to move to protect the country and the people will be silent. Then the Mainstream media will follow with stories of children meeting molesters on the Internet. Protecting children is always good for taking rights away. How many gun laws have been passed using that excuse. If they really cared anything for our young people, they would stop sending them allover the world, to be killed and maimed fighting wars they create with lies.
Whoever planned 9/11, had the American people figured out. And I don’t think some idiot hiding in a cave, in Afghanistan, defeated our air defence system. Osama didn’t order our planes to stand down. Dead Eye Dick did that! If he invites you for a hunting trip, you better move out of the country and assume another identity.

I hope all of you optimists are right and I’m wrong! But I think the days of free discussion on the Internet, is just about over. When they make these kinds of boasts, it means they are planning something. Remember Kissinger’s boast to the Russian President that all privately owned guns would be confiscated by September???

      Zach Reply:

    118. fxretracer Says:

Anyone who doubts this, ask themselves how is they can start erasing Alex Jones from YouTube already?

No, its a HUGE problem and something will be done about it before long. I can see a day when news by bloggers is covered locally. We may end up with “regional” blogggers who report the news in the area they cover with some crediblilty; because they will be able to go get the stories without a lot of overhead. Perhaps even in their spare time as a hobby or with some subscription based resources at their disposal that others may not want to or cant pay for all the time themselves. The reasons they might do this could be many. Patriotism for one, or even propaganda for another; just to name a couple of reasons off the bat.
But what will it do for Financial news is my big question. Will all the Financial news be controlled by big subscription based organizations?
It also may be we will all have to pay for our sources like we all did in the not so distant past. Relegating bloggers to commentary and what news they maybe be able to pass on from their sources.
One way or another, the net will survive. I think its just too slippary a creature to be controlled or monatized completely.

      Brief introduction:

Müller discovered that information can be broadcast over gravitational waves between two partners. This would be encrypetd on the level of quants.
The technique behind it is called “Global scaling”.
In an experiment in 2001 a voice communication was send and received between Bad Tölz(germany) and Petersburg (russia).
In conclusion this means that no wire or other artifical carrier is needed, because gravitational waves exists naturally and can be received anywhere with no possible chance for any government or Massmedia to intercept, change or regulate.

This will become the future of transmission and will set communication free for all time.

      Praise from the District
The Governor of the district Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen, Manfred Nagler, visited with the economy of the country kreises speakers. Andrew Ross the state he was impressed by the range of information and products of the four companies. Literally, he said: “I’m happy. That you are there.” The historical experiment in a first time publicly presented speed transmission of voice from Bad Tolz to St. Petersburg without a transmitter was undoubtedly the highlight of the media Toelzer days. Even at midday (the experiment started at 16.30 clock) began to visitors, who come from all over Germany, Switzerland and Austria were in position near the two tables to get to where the G-Com ® test arrangement was set up. Shortly before the transfer took the scrum frightening shapes. Then Dr. Müller began with the explanation of the physical background, before the first senderlose and e-smog-free Sprachuebertragung on the gravitational waves from Bad Toelz to St. Petersburg. The electromagnetic energy of a flashlight battery (milliwatts area) enough to get a interlocutor to entertain the 2500km away!

Here are the keyword-like introduction Dr. Mueller:

Natural EM fields and EM fields unnatural
“Even in nature, there are electromagnetic waves, planetary, solar or galactic origin. These electromagnetic waves are, however, no Electrosmog because all organisms on earth, in the course of many millions of years of evolution to the existence of these fields have adapiert. Cell Biology Research show that these fields for the normal course of biochemical processes are absolutely necessary. If the electromagnetic fields to be disturbed, there is a danger that the living cell is no longer working properly. In addition to the vital natural electromagnetic fields, there are also artificial electromagnetic fields, which human communication purposes or for the transmission of energy created. These include electromagnetic Traegerwellen different frequencies and wavelengths, the number of different ways to be modulated. artificial electromagnetic waves, there are

Dr. Müller during the introductory lecture
      in the G-Com ® technology

Although the small meeting room of the District Office was already overcrowded, people are still crowded into it,
the introductory lecture by Dr. Müller to hear it on the eve of the historical thought experiment.
not too long. Ie, neither our bodies nor the organism of animals, plants or the world had the chance to adapt to the existence of these fields to be used. However, this is also in the future not to be expected, since these artificial electromagnetic fields with the natural electromagnetic background is not harmonized. This disharmony between natural and artificial electromagnetic fields because the producer of artificial electromagnetic fields in nature have not researched this should, however, to arrange this is a concern, I hereby wish to commend. It would make sense, only those fields eleklromagnetische to use it in the nature already exist and the cell are harmless. In this way the problem could Electrosmog to a minimum. But that would be just one step. The second step. you also should consider is to have no artificial electromagnetic Traegerwellen more to produce, but the elektromagnetischcn waves. found in nature already exist, as a carrier wave for lnformationsübertragungen use. The technical possibilities are there.

The communications monopoly is the real problem lies in the fact that information transmission frequencies to be released, sold and purchased, without the natural electromagnetic background into account. Natural frequencies, however, can neither be bought nor sold, and are thus not to monopolize, with the idea in the nature of existing wave processes lnformationsuebertragung to use, has been born a few years ago. But only recently has succeeded. this idea into practice. The principle of the experiment designed by me is very simple. And precisely therein lies an important advantage: everything is transparent, it can ever understand. you see that it works, you see that it can do. I did the experiment to realize this archaic level respectively, so that everyone can understand: There is no transmitter in operation. but here are the already existing different natural wave processes as information sources used.

The coupling of these waves takes place over Schwinungungsprozesse, within gravielektrischer energy converter (G-elements) are held. These are electromagnetically fully insulated metal cans, the piezoelectric resonator and an nanocrystals included. The voice modulation is done by harmonizing biological oscillators (Bio Guards). The power consumption of the entire arrangement is well below one watt. this energetic effort “is enough (more than 2500 kilometers) a voice connection. The G-elements of the discussion partners are global-sca-ling-identical vibration systems that are under the Global-Scaling-Theory calculated and constructed. Before the transfer, the two G-elements to self-oscillations to a resonance coupling on the cosmic gravitational background field takes place. In St. Petersburg there are so identical G-elements that are in the same frequency einkoppeln. During the resonant coupling takes place, the resonance frequency can be sprachmoduliert. Likewise, images, or could other data are transmitted. The Uebertragungsqualitaet is still relatively poor, but there are already Approaches for how they could improve the experiment by a Spektrumanalyser monitored. so that even during the Sprachuebertragung can recognize. that no Traegerwelle produced.
      Audience applause applause
After this introduction, this was only briefly summarized, Dr. Muller chose with the phone number at the St. Petersburg University of. As the interview partner reported that drew Dr. Müller. for all sicbtbar, the plug from the socket of the telephone line and it was the voice of the St. Petersburg interlocutor continued without any interruption clearly hear. That was the moment when the audience began to clap applause and “Bravo” to call. Anyone with this moment in Bad Tolz has witnessed, in which the plug from the phone jack was pulled and the two continued untererhielten will not forget him. Suddenly, all those involved aware that witnesses to a historic experiment were that the world of Telekomnmnikation medium itself is a positive change, at the end of his demonstration opened Dr. Müller a G-element, poured the contents of the serpentine-nano-crystals, on a sheet of newsprint, and showed the resonator with the upper and lower limit. Huelle When the G-element is a buechse in each store to buy household goods, and the upper and lower limit to egg cups made of stainless steel. To Dr. Muller wanted to demonstrate two things: First: In the G-element is not included, which is even remotely in a “channel” remembers; Secondly, the nature of the technology is simple and straightforward.

Initial reactions to the successful Toelzer Experiment: A camera team of the SAT 1 TV channel interviewed Dr. Müller at the Institute for Space-Energy Research Gmbh in Wolfratshausen.

Murdoch said, “The CURRENT days of the internet will soon be over”, not “the internet will soon be over”. He is referring to the current business model for things like his newspapers websites.

It is a valid point. I have never understood how nespapers that give their articles away for free on the web can make a profit. You can currently read any article in most newspapers online. So what’s the point of buying the physical product? And I am not at all surprised that sites like Youtube are having to resport to these recent measures. Youtube must cost a fortune to operate, and the advertising on there is pretty minimal really. Does anyone ever click on a banner there? I never have.

    121. JJ Says:

      FUCK YOU MURDOCH!

    122. Frank Fredenburg Says:

Murdoch looks like Menachem Begin. Israeli Prime Minister from 1977-1983. Before that terrorist.

    123. vinnie Says:

we are already using web 2.0

Social networking and user created content is what drove it and is how its defined, web3.0 is already in design .. check google ane youtube for promo videos that “they have out” or generally just do a search.

But with the eu calling the us to open up ties with icann whom governs the internet and ips.

There contract with the us government is due to expire and be up for retender in september.

Now i ask you wich is the worse of two evils. the eu/ un option and the progressive tract towards 3.0 or american which will also lead to 3.0 and included will be their perpetual the policy on false flag, propaganda, censorship and out right control

    124. omallj Says:

I hope Murdoch’s stocks go bad.

    125. Trish Says:

Prisonplanet.tv is the first media website I have paid a subscription fee to for access–it’ll be the only one as well. Thank you prisonplanet and infowars for bringing the “real” news” to the masses.

    126. Chris Says:

Internet 2 is a “Berlin wall”? It’s just a high-speed backbone that is paid for (handsomely) by universities. There’s nothing special about it, no filtering, no regulation, just fast pipes. What Murdoch is saying is that he’s not making any money, so he will start charging. Google will start charging for youtube and other services. It’s not a big deal. If you don’t like it, start your own service for free. Or start a good paid service. What’s nice about the free stuff costing money, even if it’s “micro payments”, is that it will push people out into the world to find something worth paying for (or push them to free alternatives.)

    127. tim Says:

assume Internet 2 is real, and the problem>reaction>solution thing is in play.. assume the worst.. now start working on your stenography skills and other covert communication techniques that can be done in plain sight.. it’s the only way. Google “winrar stenography”, and maybe even “KGB communication” for a start. Good luck, and may we survive the transitions and stay free. All of these plans point to the larger plan based on “codex alimentarius”. MASSIVE population reduction is the over-arching goal, don’t get sucked into fighting, they need you to in order to include you in the reduction.

    128. kebcreation Says:

Wow that’s a lot of posts. The message is already out so if they control the internet we will find other means like megaphones and the shoe leather express oh and a postage stamp can go a long way. Yes there was life before the internet. If they listen to our telephone conversations perhaps some will be converted. Even Paul converted his own jailer. The internet is like everything else it can be used for good or evil. The majority of people are on the side of good on the net in my experience and I think it is in their face now and that’s why they have to try to stop it.

    129. GhostTroop Says:

“The jig is up for the corporate media. If they continue to allow free access to their content they will go out of business because there’s not enough advertising revenue coming in, whereas if they charge for content they will lose a huge chunk of their audience and their influence in shaping the news agenda will wane completely.”

Nothing is up. The internet as of today will go, and their Jig will continue on like it has for thousands of years.

You’re Jig will be up though. You little blog. Youre 150 subscribers on youtube. People need words and thoughts to first have conceptual thoughts or ideas. Like most today that are living, they wont even know that anything has taken place. Get used to it, or die. For free people living on the Earth is soon to be a thing of the past as well.

    130. Lewis Says:

So there going to shut down all the succeeding news sites, because theirs are failing. The system works.
