Russia renews threats over US missile shield

Russia does not ruled out countering the US missile defense shield in Europe with Iskander-M missile systems, should Washington proceeds with its deployment.
“If we cannot agree on this question (missile defense), then you know the consequences,” said Russian President Dmitry Medvedev Friday, after a summit of the Group of Eight industrialized nations (G8) in the central Italian city of L’Aquila, reports AFP.

Moscow has threatened to install the potent systems in Kaliningrad, a Russian exclave near Poland which together with the Czech Republic is expected to host elements of the US shield.
“I have nothing to add, and what I said in my address to the nation remains valid,” said Medvedev, referring to a late 2008 speech in which he had introduced the possible Russian response.

last time the russians tried to put missiles in cuba didn’t work out so well for them. They were a superpower at that time. I highly doubt it would work any better this time if they tried something like that.

How does all this stuff square with the desire for a new world order?? One, why doesn’t Russia just give in to the US and both reduce the need for Missiles. How can they declare one moment that they want a new currency, shared by all….a world bank, yet be arguing about this or rejecting the EU’s fight for oil in Georgia. Why not just give it up knowing trade will increase in time? Why talk about 911 on Russia Today which can’t be positive to the US or quietly support Iran if the New World Order is so popular among all these countries especially with Russia showing off a new coin? It seems these things would be time wasters to those who desire Unity. Unity seems extremely incompatible with what is going on, and the coin could be seen as a desire for stable global Fiat dollars but not do away with coins within nations. So sometimes I wonder if the New World Order is really the desire here.

The New World Order is coming. What is happening is that there is a power struggle among the elites about who is going to lead the New World Order. First it looked like the Anglo-American empire, but now it’s weighing over to the BRIC countries; Brazil, Russia, India, and China.

1st, they have lost trillions in weapons sales and would have already said something, 2nd. we wouldn’t even be thinking of a missile shield if they had that against us. Even the slightest mention of just one of the many dumb theories you guys spew would get world attention.

NWOquestions, one thing that may be obvious is that Russia is fighting for power as well.
What Medvedev did the magic coin was literally shortcut Wall Street’s NAU project and the Amero.
If Russia pushes the planetary coin, it will take a head start, and with China, became another power against the Transatlantic Union.
Once more, there will be two blocks, however it would largely look like US+EU vs. Russia+China, plus plenty of Arab and Asian countries teaming with either side.
It may seem awful, but I’d rather have two absurd superpower on this planet, with the faint hope of a NEW cold war, than one single unchecked Empire which no one could oppose.

my comments are those of 100000s of Europeans,
who give a fuck for the US (NWO) Brzezinski initiated
missile defense in Poland and Czech, where everybody
who has at least 1 gram brain matter knows that this
missile shield is against Russia and not against Iran, etc.
But you should know the Bilderberg controlled EU (US vasal),
puppets don t care what the European people wont. In
the meantime Russia is more free than western Europe
and the US together – I know it because I travel several
times per year inside Russia.
You should also know that the US missile defense discussions
are not discussed in EU newspapers, media, etc. if there are
demonstrations in Prag etc. against it and 100000s people
are ón the street protesting, nothing is reported in the
free western European media.
As long as the US defense planers think on first nuke strikes
I understand Russia if they place Iskander in Kaliningrad,
and I would advise Medwedev that Russia should also
put missiles close to the US border (maybe Mexico
or Canda) so that they could help defend the US from possible
North Korea rockets!

I would just have to say if I was Russia, I would veiw this like Russia putting missles in Cuba. Whose to say they coundn’t have a first strike capability with these weapon’s? Is the word of the US good? What about their track record? I don’t even trust our leadership, does anyone think someone else should? Plus the fact, that we know these missle sheild weapons don’t work anyway. More pork for the military industrial complex.
