Russian “Infowar” Analyst Says U.S. Will Break Apart
Author, professor predicts collapse of unified America due to terminal economic and political decline

A renowned Russian political analyst has repeated a prediction he made ten years ago that the economic and political turmoil in the U.S. will lead the country to collapse and divide into separate parts.
Igor Panarin, doctor of political sciences and professor of the Russian Diplomatic Academy Ministry of Foreign Affairs, repeated the prediction in an interview, published yesterday, with the widely read Russian daily Izvestia.
“The dollar is not secured by anything.” Panarin commented.
“The country’s foreign debt has grown like an avalanche, even though in the early 1980s there was no debt. By 1998, when I first made my prediction, it had exceeded $2 trillion. Now it is more than 11 trillion. This is a pyramid that can only collapse.”
“It is already collapsing.” He continued, “Due to the financial crisis, three of the largest and oldest five banks on Wall Street have already ceased to exist, and two are barely surviving. Their losses are the biggest in history. Now what we will see is a change in the regulatory system on a global financial scale: America will no longer be the world’s financial regulator.”
Panarin suggests that China or Russia, or a coalition between the two countries, would replace the U.S. as a new world market regulator.
He also stated that there is a move underway to replace the Dollar with “a common Amero currency as a new monetary unit”, referring to the Security and Prosperity Partnership agreement between the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

Panarin is an expert in the theory and practice of information warfare and has authored nine books, including “Information War in Russia”, “Information War and Elections”, “Information War and Power”. His political essays are regularly published in various revered journals.
Citing intense political dissatisfaction due to lost savings, the rampant decline of industry, higher unemployment, higher prices, and “divisions among the elite”, Panarin says he expects the U.S. to eventually break up into six separate parts.
Along lines similar to those of 1865 during the Civil War, Panarin predicts the U.S. will split into the following territories:
The Pacific coast, with its growing Chinese population; the South, with its Hispanics; Texas, where independence movements are on the rise; the Atlantic coast, with its distinct and separate mentality; five of the poorer central states with their large Native American populations; and the northern states, where the influence from Canada is strong.
Panarin says that only the hope of some sort of miracle economic turn around under an Obama presidency is holding back such mass upheaval.
While the prediction may sound alarming to some, it is not so far fetched.
Article IV of the United States Constitution provides for the creation of new states of the Union, requiring that any such creation be approved by the legislature of the affected state(s), as well as the United States Congress.
In the past there have been many attempts and proposals for breakaways and secessions. Many contend that the U.S. will continue to evolve and change in this fashion.
Most recently, earlier this year, the state of Oklahoma drafted a resolution (PDF) claiming sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment, serving notice and demand to the federal government to cease and desist mandates beyond the scope of constitutionally delegated powers. While this may be a leap away from secession, the increasing dissatisfaction with the federal government’s role in the economic crisis could see more of the same kind of activity becoming commonplace.

I’ve been predicting a breakup for years myself.
Some cities nuked and it will break into factional areas.

The Soviets were involved militarily in Afghanistan for about a decade. This war slowly sucked them dry and contributed greatly to the fall of the Soviet Union.

People will abandon parts of the US when they are contaminated by nuclear explosions – the list of candidates runs as long as any paranoiac’s imagination but frankly it doesn’t really matter who does it.

This is not a bad thing if it happens. Remember we are supposed to be a loose confederation of 50 sovereign states not a gigantic mega country with a huge mega bureaucracy.
This not going to be a disaster. State government are more than capable of providing them minimal services we need and militias and National Guard are more than adequate for national defense.
We need to ditch D.C. and go back to the original concept of a “United States” Separate, sovereign and independent.
I like 50 states and not 5 regions. It would work way better and we finally have a chance to undo all the damage that has been done since the Lincoln Administration.

Its possible, certainly the problems the US currently faces (esp. economically) might not even be solvable. Obama’s solutions don’t address any of the causes, its just more feel-good pablum for everyone to chew on. The economy is sunk, and the US is just too big to run from a central govt. Breakups along regional lines might not be a bad idea, with local currencies of course.

Stock up on the things that will aid you in growing and killing your own food and preserving it. 40,000 + people in Colorado show up to pick free food!!!! That is now and they must be hurting already. Just wait until you can’t get food off the shelves. When you stock up don’t forget the things that will help you feel human, games etc. Enjoy the crash. The guy is called an ‘infowar’ analyst then his theory is presented. From the start he is credentials are notorious – so why bother even persenting his ‘insane theory’. What he thinks does not matter. So it is absolutely irrelevant that USA’s economy is very badly hit, but is expected to recover quickly well that is an optimist’s view. Or there will be no quick recovery and the USA will continue to stagnate to a point of no return, there will be so much poverty – saving them would be a full time job and requires money, which does not exist. If the intention is to let poor die or worse enslave themselves so that they can survive on the little which can be given to them. There would be two choices remaining poor in a single country or break up and become rich.

Panarin hasn’t taken into cosideration that the State of Washington will succeed from the union along with Alaska. The State of Washington actually has a stronger constitution that will remain in place and be enforced as it was intended, that means that as under the constitiution Posse Comataus cannot be repealed and the constitution cannot be replaced, not legally and arrests for treason must be made. We will refer to the original ten amendments written by James Madison for the most part and the constitution was written in such a manner that it protects itself.

I think he has the divisions wrong because his division do not reflect the states that share common values. Idaho and Michigan together? I don’t think so.
I think it will be more along the lines of Texas/Oklahoma along with some mid west states, the eastern bloc going no farther east than Illinois/Michigan/Wisconsin.

The decentralization of government might not be a bad idea. I think if the States gain more responsibility in their affairs the former-States will be able to come back together in the future in a more constructive and more “conservative” (classic liberal) way with sound monetary policy.
The States need to take the reins and form policy that is completely against anything we’re dealing with today (military-industrial complex, fractional-reserve banking, etc.) and advocate it to the fullest extent.
We also need to bring all of these criminals to justice and try them for high-treason.
None of these people should be allowed to see the light of day again.

Sometime ago I read where the U.S. would be divided up into corporate feifdoms. The way things are going this may not be the likely outcome.
It may certainly spell the end for the bureaucratic monster in D.C. which will become irrelevent and in most cases unneeded.
The Constitution does not provide for an all powerful government and its only power is to print money and to some extent promote commerce, general welfare and defence.
The other functions of the government will not be welcome in these new state/territories. The government will be rejected as the corrupt, crime ridden entity it is.
It is entirely possible such a thing might happen in our lifetime. As more people realize the government is not working for our best interest but for the corporate and wealthy elite, they will further reject Washington as the political center. These new political centers will become apparent in each region as citizens set up their own governments which they can more easily manage and watch more closely which will prevent the insidious creep of corruption and greed.

That could be accurate, or it may take a little longer but the end result is the same, these countries are not exempt from ILLUMINATI control, The Rothschilds still run the show from their headquarters the Bank of England, The established Federal Reserve fiat monetary system in the United States is just a branch or subsidiary of The Rothschild control bank of enngland all this money is not interest free, you will only see hyper inflation occur by 2015 even so if the flow of China or Russias monetary currency becomes the worlds choice. You are not rooting out the source basically all that is happening is countries will all soon go bankrupt by this year by central banking systems around the globe, this is when an alternative solution will have to be imposed, either a one world currency system which ultimately will be controlled by the Bank of England or an implantable credit device in which you can not purchase or sell goods and services without it.

Forgive Panarin a little, he has valid points. From his point of view the breaking up into 5 regions makes sense from his perspective. Like ethnic groups would likely want to form alliances much like was done after the fall of the Soviet Union.
However Panarin can be excused for not having a full understanding of or history.Why should he since American college grads have no idea what our Constitution says and half of them have no idea who we fought against in the American Revolution.
I remember back in 1983 Playboy interviewed Gabriel García Márquez. In that interview Márquez made a comment about the US has an identity crisis of sorts because our country has no name. He said the Unites States of America is not a name.
Well he was right and wrong. Our country has 5 names. The USA is not our country, it is a loose alliance of independent states ( with names).
This should be our goal. End the dominance of Washington DC. Stop the idea of whomever gets 51 million idiots to vote for them automatically has the right and power to tell the other 249 million how to live.
With independent states with free trade and travel between them we will have our freedom back. If our state passes stupid laws we move to another and take our business and money with us. We can literally starve the parasites and the tyrants.

It is interesting to note they claim Guardasil is 100% effective, this stat was purely made up as inoculation age is between 11 and 26 while guardasil has only been around 1 to 2 years and women don’t contract cervical cancer t’ill the age of 40. It has also caused 7 deaths so far and 64 reported cases of chronic illnesses and that is just what was reported.

The US is going to break apart according the ethnicity of chinese immigrants, native americans, atlantic coasters (”with its distinct and separate mentality”), and texas???….this sounds like a bad plot for a really bad SciFi channel movie, DEFINITELY NOT to be taken seriously. The fact that a racist disinfo pig like drudge would pick up this muck….and remove parts to add bias on top the stupidity already present, compounds the dumbness of it all.
Oh and again I ask, what does a constitutional amendment allowing additional states to be added, have to do with states seceding from the Union? Are you implying its somehow constitutional for states to secede from the Union? I hope not because that would be embarrassing for you. @US_CONSTITUTION, good post but not so fast on russia. they began divesting in US dollars in their treasuries about 5 years ago. they are almost completely divested now. They may get hit by some collateral damage, but i do not believe russia is “caught in” as much as you do. I do believe china is however.

This is one of the issues settled during the civil war. According to President Lincoln, States are free to join the Union, but they are not free to leave it. I’m sure president Obama will use the Army just like Lincoln did if any State try to break away. Gee, I wonder when the NWO planned that?

Number one, this guy never predicted anything, Billy Meier predicted this in his contact notes from the 70’s and 80’s LONG before this guy had a clue. I understand the West Coast under Chinese population influence. I assume that has started from that Chinese mafia thing in SF since the Angel Island opened the opportunity for the foreigners from that west side.

well… a break up might be in order.
think about it… huge, runaway government. a small handful of people with too much influence over too many people and their money/worth/time/lives. the reason for “world currencies” and economic unions is to consolidate their control. breaks would go the opposite direction.
perhaps its better if we allow natural breaks to happen, and that we govern more locally. perhaps we get back to true Statehood with nominally federal presence.
folks, we’d better get over even the most patriotic-intended nationalism. the US of A is a concept – one gone unfulfilled anyway.
ultimately, we should each draft our own constitution. then we can join with like-minded others and just live within it.
perhaps if we just ignore the feds, they’ll go away…

Read ralph epperson’s “Unseen Hand” and you will find out that the central bank set up after the overthrow of the russian czars is run by rothschild and swiss banks. So you better recognize it is all about getting you in the mentality of a spoiled brat kid crying about the bad goverment instead of looking at the central banks, unseen super rich investment class, and oversized LOCAL goverment. If you sucede and your state goverment is still big they will turn inward on you to leach and they can easily be bought out if offered the right amount from the unseen illuminati financiers. Recognize that it is the size of the govement you should be concerned with along with the financiers.

Watson, Jones, do you actually believe this psuedo-educated junk social science means anything? The author has no basic understanding of US regional politics, there is no “huge Chinese population” in Oregon any more than there is a “large native American” population in Utah, West Virginia does not vote with the Northeast, Idaho and Wyoming don’t vote with the Midwest, etc. etc.
This whole theory is just such utter bunk, and the sad thing is, the legal argument over the constitutionality of succession is an interesting one — but this half-baked crapola only serves to undermine legitimate arguments over the true nature of federalism and the future of the union in these post-constitutional days. It saddens me to see InfoWars/PrisonPlanet divert themselves into sideshows like these. Is this supposed to educate us, or just fool us?

New states may be admitted by the Congress into this union; but no new states shall be formed or erected within the jurisdiction of any other state; NOR ANY STATE BE FORMED BY THE JUNCTION OF TWO OR MORE STATES, OR PARTS OF STATES, WITHOUT THE CONSENT OF THE LEGISLATURES OF THE STATES CONCERNED AS WELL AS OF THE CONGRESS (emphasis added, DD).
It appears that under circumstances agreeable to state legislatures and Congress as a whole there could be a redrawing of state lines by the joining of states. Interestingly, on Panarin’s diagram, Texas is a region unto itself. This is because of particular rights granted to the Texas Nation/Republic when it became one of the united states. Texas itself has the privilege of breaking into several states if its legislature sovereignly decides to do so. I don’t know if other states can do this. Even so, I suppose something could be worked out for Texas to agree to join with another state as IV:3 authorizes.
But will this, or something like this, happen? Panarin’s point is that it could; that there is Constitutional authorization for the regionalization through adjoining of individual states. So the idea has never been a farfetched one from a technical perspective.
Interesting point that the Drudge Report left out the information about the Amero. The North American Union is yet a possibility for Texas, Mexico, and Canada. I don’t know if it can be stopped.

You are missing the point. The United States of America will cease. The idea is that California, Oregon and Washington will become a Union and other States will create their own Unions. There is nothing in the United States Constitution that prevents any State from leaving the Union. I believe that the new Unions that will form after the breakup of the Union styled “The United States of America” will be more of a grouping of eastern blue States and western blue States with the red States in the middle. Just because the Union has lasted over two-hundred years does not mean that it will last forever. The Union has become a poison. Our borders are not secure; the Union (Federal) debt is gigantic; abortion is considered to be a right; homosexuality is considered normal; we have a Union President-elect who seems to want to repeat the mistakes of Herbert Hoover. What more could enemies of freedom want?
The fact that any State may leave the Union, according to the Constitution, means that a dictatorship can not hold power because the States would leave. Please read the tenth amendment frequently.
