DEBKA

Russian foreign ministry spokesman Andrei Nesterenko’s announcement in Moscow provided sketchy details of the coming Russian deployment at a Venezuela airport and the joint naval war games with Hugo Chavez’s navy in the Caribbean. Caracas announced that four Russian ships with almost 1,000 sailors aboard would join its navy for maneuvers on November 10-14.
DEBKAfile’s military sources itemize its composition:
The nuclear-capable maritime reconnaissance/anti-submarine warfare turboprop TU-142 (NATO coded Bear F, or Bear J), which can fly 6,500 km, i.e. from Venezuela to the US coast will be temporarily based at a Venezuelan airport.
This move will further strain US-Russian relations.
(ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW)
Nesterenko played down the presence of the TU-142 in his statement that a smallish Russian flotilla would be holding naval training exercises off Venezuela in November. Our sources inferred that the warplanes would land in October, arriving before the flotilla, which will be bigger and more formidable than the Russian and Venezuelan spokesmen indicated.
According to DEBKAfile’s military sources, it will consist of six to eight vessels, led by the Kirov Class (Type 1144.2) Peter the Great nuclear-powered heavy missile cruiser, one of the largest warships in the world, which is designed to guard the rest of the group against submarine and air attack.
It is armed with the Granit (NATO designated SS-N-19 Shipwreck) long range, anti-ship missile system, consisting of 20 missiles. If the lead missile is intercepted, one of the others moves into the lead role.
Peter the Great is also equipped with 40 S-300F air defense missiles.
Other ships in the Russian flotilla are the Admiral Chabanenko , the Russian navy’s most advanced guided missile anti-submarine battleship, and the guided nuclear missile cruiser Pyotr Velikiy . They will be escorted by five smaller warships and a fuel vessel.

I hope we can avoid war, but…
If a US assault on Iran begins, it makes sense that Iran/Syria, Russia, and all their allied surrogates, will immediately attempt to economically strangle the US by attempting to destroy US friendly or US proximal oil production facilities. This includes terrorist/military attacks on all US friendly Middle Eastern coastal oil loading plants and our affiliated shipping interests.
Recent reports suggest a US attack on Iran is (most likely) just weeks away.
The Russians, despite their pretence of mutual naval exercises and friendship, are plainly positioning themselves to (initially) defend, and then if necessary, eliminate all Venezuelan oil production assets so the US never aquires them.
Since we are talking about October Surprizes, how about the surprize awaiting the soon to be impotent ruler Hugo Chavez, when his good ol’ Russian buddies suddenly seize and threaten to eliminate his rich oil/cash supply lifeline just to gain a strategic advantage over the US. Surprize Hugo! Good times…good people.
I might also suggest that the related overly aggressive Russian actions in Georgia, while seemingly defensive, are more likely designed as a stalling/diversionary tactics until Russian assets are globally deployed. The Russians are clearly gearing up to confront or profoundly inconvenience the US…which won’t end well for any of us.
I agree the US has often been irresponsible and meddling, but all that aside, it is also foolish to blindly assume Iran has no militaristic nuclear intent, or that Russia wouldn’t resume fighting the Cold War if they discovered (or gained) a supreme tactical advantage…like energy/oil. This Russian Naval movement bears careful scrutiny.

If Russia or Israel even dares to take out Iran I think Israel will be taken off the planet.
In fact the more I read the bible and the more I see what’s going on the more obvious it looks that Israel is about to be wiped out, and it won’t be Iran that does it, but most likely Russia will send one of their missles.
Then after Israel is sacked, the US will have to decide whether to eat it’s losses and make freinds with Russia or end the entire world with a complete nuclear war.
The christians will push hard to end the world so they can be raptured by satan, whereas the common sense people will say ENOUGH!!! Let’s stop before the whole world is gone.
But in either case it looks like Israel will be taken out in accordance with the old and new testament

Jeremiah 35:17 Therefore thus saith the Lord God of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them: because I have spoken unto them, but they have not heard; and I have called unto them, but they have not answered.
Matthew 24:32-33 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
Luke 21:20=22 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
:21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
:22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
THESE ARE THOSE DAYS, THE TIME IS NOW. WE DON’T KNOW THE HOUR, BUT WE KNOW THE SEASON…

Jeremiah 23:20 The anger of the Lord shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.
