A San Diego-bound flight was diverted to Albuquerque on Sunday after the FBI received a report of “a potential security threat,” but no suspicious devices were found on the plane, authorities said.
Delta Flight 1706, carrying 137 passengers and six crew members, landed at Albuquerque International Sunport shortly before 10 a.m., FBI spokesman Frank Fisher said in a statement.
Fisher did not provide details about the nature of the threat to the plane, which left from Detroit Metro Airport.
CNN reported that the flight was diverted after a flight attendant found a suspicious note in a bathroom.
