School To Put Students In ‘Prison’ Jumpsuits As Punishment

GONZALES, Texas. — A school in Texas will force students who don’t follow the rules to wear prison-like jumpsuits in a controversial move this coming school year.
Gonzales High School has new navy blue jumpsuits that students will wear if they break the dress code.
Violators will be forced to wear the jumpsuit for the day, the report said.
Some parents said the jumpsuits will make students feel like prisoners but the district said it’s just a way to keep the children dressed appropriately for school.

Schools were never about education, they were about indoctrination. The only subject they teach is conformity. Yet another reason why our education system is a total failure, and why homeschooling is viable. Have you ever wondered why kids go whacko and shoot up schools (ok besides being hopped up on psych drugs) Its because they are sick of the prison like system of schools, that award students for playing sports, but ignore the scholastic achievements of students who do well with their grades. If i were the parents id protest this.
If they still continued, id pull my children OUT of their school, and cyber school them. Our schools are a waste of tax dollars, overpaid teachers, who whine every year they want even MORE money, for a job that requires them to sit on their ass and basically do nothing.
Back when i was in school i once told one of my teachers, i refused to do homework, because i considered it a cop out for teachers who didnt do their job on their time, so now i must do their job on my time. Thus teaching myself, and therefore making the subject of paying school taxes IRREVELANT. When you get a job it is illegal to work off the clock isnt it?
Next to sports stars teachers are the biggest whiners that they need more money, also like sports stars, they are overpaid, and undeserving of the extreme amount of money they make. Teachers have it easy, they get summers off (wish my job had that) Usually paid (also wish my job had that) So the next time a teacher whines about how hard it is to sit on their ass behind a desk, remember some of our ancestors were busting their asses in STEEL MILLS making mere pennies.

you’ll note Alex has expressed guarded respect for mainstream journalists as a class. He appreciates the conditions they’re under don’t make it very easy to do good work. Furthermore, what Alex harps on is how the media shapes, spins and presents the facts. The underlying narrative of “we’re all safe, bad things happen to other people, if you’re bad then bad things might happen to you, there’s nothing you can do about it, shut up and buy something to distract yourself” is not a constructive, useful, or honest one. The reason he cites many mainstream articles is to show that the _facts_ are right in front of us, but the _delivery_ and the sheer _mass_ of information drowns out the message.
This is not hypocrisy. We are talking literal TEOTWAWKI and Chuck, you are playing gotcha on debate style, failing to see the forest for the trees.

I can forsee a time when most children will go to prison regularly for a day or two for any infraction. This way the honest independent thinkers will be lumped in with the ne’er do wells. This will reinforce robotic behavior among the masses. I can forsee a time when children OR adults for that matter, won’t dare, laugh, applaud, cry, shout, or speak off the cuff for fear that they will stand out and by standing out be imprisoned. Why stop there though? Send the parents to prison for standing up for the rights and dignity of their children or expressing a belief in a higher power. Then take their children away after charging the parents for abandonment because they had the audacity to obey the system and serve their sentence thereby abandoning their children.

As a peaceful protest all the students should, or could, order the same prison jumpsuits online, and everyone wear them and make the punishment null and void, but they are probably too stupid to think of that.
