Secret Homeland Security Threat Assessment Labels Gun Owners Potential Terrorists
Intelligence document says extremist radicals “stockpiling” weapons and ammunition in fear of Obama gun ban

A Department of Homeland Security intelligence assessment equates gun owners with violent terrorists and states that radical extremists are “stockpiling” weapons in fear of an Obama administration gun ban.
This newly uncovered document is just the latest in a long sordid line of training manuals in which the federal government characterizes millions of American citizens as potentially violent terrorists who are a threat to law enforcement.
The document is entitled Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment (PDF link) and was released just a few days ago. The paper is labeled Law Enforcement Sensitive and states, “No portion of the LES information should be released to the media, the general public, or over non-secure Internet servers. Release of this information could adversely affect or jeopardize investigative activities.”
However, probably as a result of a concerned whistleblower, the secret document has been leaked to the Internet. Alex Jones called the numbers listed on the document and validated its authenticity. He contacted the “watch captain” at the Department of Homeland Security’s National Infrastructure Coordinating Center who confirmed the product number on the document as legitimate but would not comment further. A call to the FBI went unanswered.
The document states that the election of an African-American president and the economic downturn have acted as “unique drivers for rightwing radicalization and recruitment,” adding that, “The possible passage of new restrictions on firearms….could lead to the emergence of terrorist groups….capable of carrying out violent attacks.”
The DHS is essentially claiming that people who are concerned about the Obama administration’s plans to curtail the second amendment, and by extension anyone who owns guns or who has purchased guns in response to such a scenario, is a potential violent terrorist.
The bulk purchasing of ammunition is labeled “stockpiling” and “hoarding” to create the myth that people who buy bullets are storing them for some kind of violent revolutionary attack. The document also claims that people who buy guns and ammunition are also rightwing extremists engaged in “paramilitary training,” a bizarre claim backed up with no evidence whatsoever.
The document then discusses past and current gun legislation with the implication that anyone who vehemently opposes attacks on the second amendment right to bear arms is a potential terrorist, or at best a “rightwing extremist”.
Expressing concern about concentration camps, illegal immigration, the economy and martial law is also characterized by implication as a potential indication of terrorist activity.
In the classic guilt-by-association method with which we are all too familiar, the threat assessment then links such people with the Oklahoma City bombing, Timothy McVeigh, pipe bombers, and right-wing extremist groups, despite the fact that such groups were found to have been controlled by the feds themselves all along.
The document also mentions the Pittsburgh cop killer, Richard Poplawski, who murdered three police officers after they came to his mother’s house in response to a domestic disturbance related to Poplawski’s dog urinating on the floor. But according to the DHS, the incident did not represent a mundane but tragic domestic dispute gone horribly wrong, but a potential indication of the “rise in rightwing extremism”.
The DHS then throws in “anti-government conspiracy theories” and concerns about a “one world government” as another potential breeding ground for violent terrorists. Indeed, the document characterizes concerns about the economy, unemployment, the loss of U.S. sovereignty and the move towards global government as “rightwing extremist chatter on the Internet.”
In reality of course, the economy is in dire straights, jobs are being cut everywhere, and top globalists themselves are openly talking of their agenda to build a world government out of the shredded sovereignty of the U.S. But according to Homeland Security, anyone who talks about that reality could be a potential terrorist.
World Bank President and Bilderberg elitist Robert Zoellick openly admitted the plan to eliminate national sovereignty and impose a global government during a speech on the eve of the G20 summit when he stated, “If leaders are serious about creating new global responsibilities or governance, let them start by modernising multilateralism to empower the WTO, the IMF, and the World Bank Group to monitor national policies.”
However, according to the DHS, anyone who expresses concern about Zoellick’s public announcement that U.S. sovereignty is to be sacrificed in return for a global government is a “rightwing extremist” and a potential terrorist killer.
The document concludes by talking about the Internet in the context of being a tool for rightwing terrorists to network, build bombs, and send encrypted messages to each other.
The small print at the bottom of the paper encourages any recipients of the document to “report information concerning suspicious or criminal activity (presumably people expressing concern about the economy, anti-second amendment legislation or the open announcement of a new world order) to DHS and the FBI.
As we have exhaustively documented with the MIAC report and a whole host of others, the federal government apparently has very little concern for any perceived terrorist threat to America coming from the MIddle East or Al-Qaeda cells within the country, and indeed if any such threat existed we are only in more danger, because the feds have been busy training law enforcement that law-abiding American citizens who exercise their legal right to purchase firearms or who exercise their first amendment right to discuss politics, are potential terrorists who want to instigate a violent revolution.

Did the document mention anything about the elected President of the United States of America refusal to release his birth certificate to any public entity? The main duty of the President of the USA is to uphold the Constitution, and I don’t see how his refusal coincides with this duty. The administration is in progress of distributing propaganda to mold people’s image of who is questioning our government and for what reason. Unfortunately, as the report alluded to the election of Barrack Obama as a possible cause, it can be viewed as relevant. As far as it being a lie, please request the document from all 50 States, as if it had been released they will be obliged to to release it under the freedom of information act, which is why you can ask for documents submitted as evidence in court cases (that is if I am not mistaken). And if you find a link where a public official says that it has been released, please post a link. I am man enough to admit when I am wrong. Unfortunately, I don’t believe I am this time.

The public official is from Hawaii and the article advises you that Hawaii state law bars the release of a certified birth certificate to anyone who does not have a tangible interest in it. So once again, I say it is not a lie that Obama has not released his Birth Certificate. I do not believe either the Dems or the Reps have big enough …. to try a stunt like this without any proof. A point I was trying to make, is the document alluded that some people are potential terrorist because he became President. I am not denying this. But some have concerns that we do have a President who refuses to release his Birth Certificate, and prefers to fight it in court, and say that we have no right to challenge it. For anyone that loves this Country and the form of government prescribed by the Constitution that is a major red flag.

For a time the Hawaiian State Department of Health was so overwhelmed with requests for the Obama birth certificate, they made a pdf available on the front page of their website. Having satisfied the majority of requests by the Inauguration, the link has been removed and the original has been sealed by the Hawaiian governor.
The claim that the Obama campaign “refused to release his birth certificate” is completely without merit. I acquired a copy from the HSDoH in September 2008 and printed copied for all my Republican friends who were experiencing the same misconception as you.

Storky, please stop making things up. I never said the Obama campaign refused to release his birth certificate. The only person that can release it is Obama himself. The Hawaiian governor did not seal Obama’s birth certificate. And unless you could provide proof that you have a tangible interest, the HSDoH will not issue a copy of Obama’s birth certificate.

Of Course most American’s are hording guns and ammo… hell you CAN’T get it now, without selling your first born… then Obama and all his underlings are ANTI GUN, you get Pelosi shooting off her mouth that the 2nd amendment won’t stop her or Holder… what the hell are you SUPPOSED to do?
Now you have to buy ammo in such ridiculously large amounts, just to get some, and spend a good 400 bucks on a 1000 rounds of 9mm to just get enough ammo to qualify for your Concealed Carry License in my state. Hell, you only need 100 rounds for the class, but the shelves are bare… so you go online, and you can get ammo, but only if you order 1000 rounds of it! I pushed nearly a 2 grand into a decent 9mm pistol, license fees, and the damn ammo for the *privilege* to carry my weapon at all times… since in my area we had 6 people MURDERED in cold blood by one gun man just 2 weeks ago…
As my dad said, you are more than welcome to our guns… bullets first.

You gun-owning Americans better believe you are being framed for something very nasty indeed from the Federal Government. I think that’s one reason why we don’t have anything comparable (that I know of) to the FEMA camps here in Europe, i.e., apart from some of the smaller countries, like Switzerland or Norway, we Europeans have largely been disarmed and therefore pose little threat, whereas you fellas have enough firepower to keep these jackbooted psychopaths worried. In a very real sense, you are the last sizeable obstacle in the way of the NWO. Stand firm and no surrender!

HK91, CAR15, Remington 870, HK VP70Z. And not nearly enough ammo. Hell a decent fire fight would chew up about 500 rounds a day easily. Need about 10,000 rounds of your main blasters ammo. But then they just throw in a Bradley and ruin our whole day, going to be tough if it gets serious.

There are two possible scenarios:
1) The policy makers at DHS are delusional, paranoid, and/or stupid, and believe that people and groups that intend to wreak violence are buying and registering huge amounts of guns and ammo. Ridiculous on it’s face. Criminals and subversive groups would not leave the Feds a road map, they would buy/use unregistered guns and ammo.
2) DHS policy makers are trying to make law enforcement paranoid, and believe that people will actually buy their obviously false assertion that all, most, or even a significant number of legal gun owners in the U.S. are racists, right-wing wackos, or are intending anarchy or revolution. Also ridiculous on it’s face.
The truth:
American’s are seeing the Federal govornment acting in ways that don’t represent their wants or needs, with no regard for law or due process. They see their rights eroded and wealth being handed to bankers and they are scared. They see that everything their politicians say is a lie. They do not trust their leaders and they want to protect themselves, their families and their communities.
Do they really think they can push this ‘globalism’ crap down our throats and make us believe that the document that they swore an oath to uphold is a ‘terrorist’ document? I would like to see a parody of these assessments done. It should be professionally designed, very official-looking. Complete with some made up official-looking seal. Much of the language should be copied, but with the key difference being the government and its various “anti-terrorism” enforcement agencies as the ones described as active or potential BABY RAPERS. It should describe their various (dubious) methods of branding patriots as terrorist extremists through government programs and assessments as tell-tale signs of guilt or potential guilt by the participants of those government programs/assessments of BABY RAPE. It should be remembered that a Y2K meltdown didn’t happen because a whole lot of people spent a whole lot of time at their keyboards rewriting code and making patches to correct the situation. And THAT’S why the year 2000 passed by without too much of a problem.
It annoys the crap out of me when ingrates get all smug about Y2K and denounce “Chicken Littles” of that time as worrywarts. People busted their butts (metaphorically speaking, of course, as they were actually using them to sit on) to make sure YOUR life could continue in an acceptable manner.
Instead of the thanks the code rewriters should have gotten, they got instead snide ingratitude from ditzes who think salvation and rescue appeared magically out of thin air.

I was there, coordinating the Y2K project of a large East Coast bank. I know about the feeling in the rear end. What I was talking about here is doomsaying. My experience of the Y2K doomsaying was that all the doomsayers had something to sell. Business was brisk, and to the very end of 1999, most of them refused to acknowledge that we had the situation under control. When I see doomsaying like what we’re discussing here, I become a bit caustic.

When the Bill of Rights were written, the populace possessed pretty much the same guns the military had. Technology has moved on and the military (now ilegally stationed in the US – just in case) has heavy machine guns, howitzers, tanks, planes,etc. The police have automatic weapons ,gas, tasers, tanks and they can get whatever else they might need from the military (see Waco).
So , I’m not really satisfied to have just a semi-auto “assault weapon” since it will be hard to stand against them if necessary. We should ( and technically do) have the right to the same weapons the Gov has- that was the intent of the 2nd ammendment. Instead of trying to keep the piddly (comparatively) weapons we are now “allowed” to have, we should (NRA,are you listening?) push for every home to have a M-60, some grenades and an anti-tank rocket. A surface to air missle would also be nice.
This might sound ridiculous, but there it is.

So the logical conclusion is this: if gun owners are terrorists and revolutionaries, then gun stores and gun store owners are hives of revolutionary fervor and terrorist enablers. That means that the agency which regulates gun stores (the B.A.T.F., ie the Feds I presume) enables the enablers to sow revolutionary and terroristic seeds of discontent. Therefore, to cut off the source of revolutionary and terroristic activities, we must cut it off at the roots, eliminating the B.A.T.F. and the Feds. Which means we need to stock up on more guns and ammunition to combat the threat of the Federal Government.

What happens if your employer is not happy with your work? You don’t get a raise, or they find someone else to replace you! We the Government have not been doing our job. We have allowed these polititions to give themselves raises and have other powers that should not have been allowed. Try giving yourself a raise where you work and see how long you will last! We have set on our behinds and let it happen. National guard units seeking to confiscate a cache of recently banned weapons were ambushed on April 19th by elements of a para-military extremist faction. Military and law enforcement sources estimate that 72 were killed and more than 200 injured before government forces were compelled to withdraw.
Speaking after the clash Massachusetts Governor Thomas Gage declared that the extremist faction, which was made up of local citizens, has links to the radical right-wing tax protest movement. Gage blamed the extremists for recent incidents of vandalism directed against internal revenue offices. The governor, who described the group’s organizers as “criminals,” issued an executive order authorizing the summary arrest of any individual who has interfered with the government’s efforts to secure law and order.
The military raid on the extremist arsenal followed wide-spread refusal by the local citizenry to turn over recently outlawed weapons. Gage issued a ban on private ownership of weapons and ammunition earlier in the week. This decision followed a meeting in early this month between government and military leaders at which the governor authorized the forcible confiscation of illegal arms. One government official, speaking on condition of anonymity, pointed out that “none of these people would have been killed had the extremists obeyed the law and turned over their weapons voluntarily.”
Government troops initially succeeded in confiscating a large supply of outlawed weapons and ammunition. However, troops attempting to seize arms and ammunition in Lexington met with resistance from heavily-armed extremists who had been tipped off regarding the government’s plans.
During a tense standoff in Lexington’s town park, National Guard Colonel Francis Smith, commander of the government operation, ordered the armed group to surrender and return to their homes. The impasse was broken by a single shot, which was reportedly fired by one of the right-wing extremists. Eight civilians were killed in the ensuing exchange. Ironically, the local citizenry blamed government forces rather than the extremists for the civilian deaths.
Before order could be restored, armed citizens from the surrounding areas had descended upon the guard units. Colonel Smith, finding his forces overmatched by the armed mob, ordered a retreat.
Governor Gage has called upon citizens to support the state national joint task force in its effort to restore law and order. The governor has also demanded the surrender of those responsible for planning and leading the attack against the government troops. Samuel Adams, Paul Revere, and John Hancock, who have been identified as “ringleaders” of the extremist faction, remain at large.

I’ve thought long about this Gun Control thing – and I’m against other than a basic wants/warrants type of verification – using your Driver’s License ID. If the Fed’s institute a more comprehensive registration targeted to “weed out” those non-fit for guns (aka ex-cons, mentally institutionalized, under-age etc.) it would likely be a waste of Tax-dollars. Today, as reported by news, the civil and Federal government agencies – “Illegal” guns are not registered. Do we think for one minute that putting a law in place to register will actually encourage those that are currently buying and using guns illegally – aka – criminals, to register? I think that’s about as good a chance as our current IRS legislation that “requires” all monies, whether collected legally or illegally to be reported. Non-sense – Criminals don’t file TAX returns on money they obtained by illegal means – why would they turn a new leaf and want to register their guns that they intend to use illegally. The honest gun user, hunter, enthusiast etc. would be the one that suffers. Again, I think it is prudent to some sort of verification but anything more would be a waste.

I’m 55 and the U.S. has changed so drastically in the last 30 years for the worst. So many, many rights have been taken away under the disguise as “security” and the younger ones don’t know any better because they’ve grown up believing america is an unsafe, dangerous place fueled by the nightly “news” reports which are, of course, designed to attract as many customers as possible for advertisers.
Many of us think the U.S. is going to hell fast–because it is. Yesterday in my community [Aurora, Colorado] 10 policemen showed up and drew guns on four kids playing with airsoft guns in a backyard….they told the news media the guns looked real [not to me because they were clear plastic with barrels painted red]. They told the parents the kids could be ticketed or hauled to jail. Such paranoia, really–a snapshot of the whole U.S. I’m afraid.

I live in the north woods of Wisconsin. I listen to talk radio and watch TV. Not just Hannity, Limbaugh, Savage, Beck and others, but Air America, Maddow and Oberman. Since I listen to the far left; does that cancel out me from being a potential domestic terrorist?
I mind my own business, I don’t bother anybody. I don’t belong to a para military group, but I once did–the U.S. Army.
I do own guns. We hunt up here! I held a FFL for 6 years and I have a concealed carry permit from Florida.
I have been robbed 4 times in my life at gun point, been stabbed, threatened etc. That will never happen again when I am in Chicago, Detroit, Milwaukee or Miami. I have learned from experience that even with the cops present, the DA charged the perp for holding a gun on me as a misdemeanor and then they were going to cite me for contempt, because I did not want to show for trial if not pushed as a felony. What is wrong with this picture?
I am angry though about the government spending. Did I go to a tea party? Not yet.
I love my country. I miss my country. I wasn’t extremely happy with Bush either. The republicans have let us down. The Democrats have let us down. Something needs to change here or American and all it had to offer will be done.
For Mr. Davis: We have way too many laws, but where I live in northern, WI no one to enforce them! 3 cops–90 sq miles!
I had property in Delagua, CO and we had no law enforcement there either however; I may be the same distance (10 miles) off a main highway, but now my roads are paved (LOL)
If someone were stupid enough to break into our houses, can’t really say they are getting help from law enforcement. Possibly the Coroner if they are not fed to the bears.
If Texas seceeds from the Union, We would be there in a heart beat. My woman if from Dallas anyway!
I can do fine without guns for protection, but it might be a little loud and messy, but I do not want my 2nd ammendment rights taken away for political expedience.

Let’s see: what is the government spending all these trillions on? Less and less on health, education, and consumer protection. More and more on defense and homeland security. Why? The budgets for defense and homeland security go mostly to procurements from big business. Those for the well-being of the citizens go more to salaries and aid to individuals, only indirectly generating profits for business, and the wrong business, at that.
So how do you ensure that Congress will keep on raising the defense and homeland security budgets? You find threats. Remember the Cold War? It was a credible threat, and the budget for countering that threat was high and never questioned Then the Soviet Union fell, and Congress started talking about cutting the defense budget. Bush the elder had installed old Saddam in Iraq while head of the CIA, and he called Saddam to return the favor. Within a few weeks of the news of the defense budget cut initiative, Saddam invaded Kuwait, and there was a credible threat again. The defense budget stayed high.
Bill Clinton had focused on the economy and towards the end of his presidency, the shares of the defense industry were at an all-time low. Bush the younger was installed as President with regards from neo-con think tanks to provide a new Pearl Harbor. Soon the old business associates of the Bush family, the Bin Laden family, provided just that on 9-11-01. The defense budget skyrocketed and the shares of the defense industry followed suit. Need I add that the Bush family is well invested in defense? That Dick Cheney’s Halliburton started getting no-bid contracts by the bucketful? Pretty transparent.
You’d think that Obama would renew the focus on the economy, seeing that somehow, somebody will have to repay the loans Dubya took to make the next generation pay for his looting. But Obama didn’t get elected without the support of big business either; nobody has since Jack Kennedy. (Kennedy got shot the day before he was to sign he order to withdraw from Vietnam.) Obama will have to repay the favors to big business just like his predecessors, and he, too, will have to keep finding threats. Now it’s right-wingers, gun owners, and veterans. Under Bush it was left-wingers and war critics. Under Clinton, it was militias and paramilitary gun-toters. Somebody will always have to carry the can, and the rich will keep getting richer.
