A Senate amendment based on Congressman Ron Paul’s successful House bill to audit the Federal Reserve was blocked by the Senate yesterday evening on procedural grounds, as Jim DeMint slammed the Fed for refusing to disclose where trillions in bailout funds had gone, while a top Obama administration advisor called for a second “stimulus” package to be prepared.
Republican Senator DeMint had attempted to get a provision attached to the 2010 spending bill that would have removed restrictions on auditing the Fed’s discount window operations, funding facilities, open market operations and agreements with foreign central banks and governments.
However, the amendment was blocked by Senate authorities who claimed that it violated rules for provisions attached to spending bills.
Of course, when the elite want to get their own legislation rammed through, such as the recent climate bill in the House, it’s perfectly fine for Congressmembers to be prevented from even reading it, for it to have 300 pages added at 3am in the morning before the vote, and for all kinds of pork barrel to be attached. But God forbid should representatives actually try to pass something that would benefit the American people and not the private bankers that are beyond all scrutiny and above the law.
DeMint said that the Fed has enjoyed a monopoly over money and credit in the United States since 1913 yet has never been transparent or accountable to Congress, while during that time the dollar has lost 95% of its purchasing power.

“The Federal Reserve will create and disburse trillions of dollars in response to our current financial crisis,” DeMint said. “Americans across the nation, regardless of their opinion on the bailout, want to know where the money has gone,” he added, referring to the Fed’s refusal to disclose where trillions in bailout funds has gone.
“Allowing the Fed to operate our nation’s monetary system in almost complete secrecy leads to abuse, inflation and a lower quality of life,” said DeMint.
A Reuters article about the Senate’s move to block the bill said that the Federal Reserve was “facing growing pressure as it tries to heal the ailing economy.”
In reality, the Federal Reserve has done nothing to “heal” the economy as unemployment outstrips expectations and the financial picture only looks bleaker every day. The private, run for profit Fed has taken trillions in “stimulus” funds and refused to even divulge where it has gone, even under threat of lawsuits file by Bloomberg.
Meanwhile, people like Ben Bernanke have committed financial terrorism by threatening an economic collapse if the Fed is allowed to be audited.
Any real audit of the Fed would of course create a giant roadblock for the Obama administration’s plans to launch a whole new program of looting and grand larceny in the guise of a second “stimulus” package.
“We should be planning on a contingency basis for a second round of stimulus,” Laura D’Andrea Tyson, a member of the panel advising President Barack Obama on tackling the economic crisis, said on Tuesday,” reports CNBC.
This is precisely why Senate authorities, bought and paid for by the private bankers that now own the United States, have blocked efforts to audit the Fed, because they know that the fallout will spell disaster for their place on the power peanut gallery and in turn end the ceaseless feasting at the trough of the battered, bruised and shaken-down American taxpayer.

Why those silly Senators! 100 of the most self-absorbed, pompous, do-anything-to-get-re-elected individuals in all of public service. They don’t want to shine some sunlight on the unconstitutional Federal Reserve (neither Federal nor a Reserve)? Imagine my surprise.
I’d rather have 2 small business owners, picked at random, from every state in the union as Senators instead of the bozos we have now. Oops, I didn’t mean to insult Bozo the clown, no offense.

H.R. 1207 is a House bill. That means the House of Representatives. See, the legislative branch of our government is divided into two parts. Senators can’t block a house bill. Jim cunningham was correct. What the Senate did was block an amendment to a spending bill that was based on 1207 because they said it violated rules for provisions attached to spending bills.

This is not the senate bill that is being proposed! this was only the AMMENDMENT TO the spending bill. all is not lost. there is a bill proposed that parallels the house bill that will be looking for senators to cosponsor and it is new to the senate and should be proposed this week as the house forewarded it last week. all hope is not lost. this was just the ammendment to a different spending bill.a new bill will be a stand alone bill so get your senator to support it..!

As can be seen from these congrssional meeting ,the congressman’s talk is always time restricted, and whatever point he tries to make (no matter how important it may be to the citizens) can be, and is mostly ignored. So what is the point if Ron Paul or DeMint come out and say all the right things when most of the others in congress are either paid off or threatened to do as their masters tell them.

So I guess it’s safe to say, if they have two million, they want four, and so on and so on and so on. It will never stop as long as there is one dollar left in the till. Then they’ll fight us to the death to take that away from us too. Over pieces of paper, not worth the ink and paper used to print it up. But you can bet your last dime that when it comes time to make it good they will be sure that their money has value. Likely backed by gold and silver.
For those of us left, when the money is all gone far from our shores, and nothings left to be had, well then all that’s left is you and then they will come and take that from you too. Isn’t Ron Paul’s list for the House of Representatives? The Bill is HR1207, a House Bill. We want a list of the Senators and how they voted on the amendment, if they did. I’m still confused. Did it even come to a vote? Seems that they squashed it on some bogus procedural rule that was not invoked on any of the other amendments to the Bill. Start at a local level… make alliances with your county (or my case parish) officials. From there go to your state legislators, bring them books to read (C4L has a reading list that is around half of what we bring) and some films. Perhaps Freedom to Fascism to soften them up, then progressively do so until they either are on your side, or you know they will never be… Then you know what action to take.
All jokes aside, violence is not our current measure. Right now we are in the grievance phase, albeit a bit late on the timeline with the tyranny in our face as it is.
Even I roar for hard action on a daily basis, yet I understand that to act outside of the guidelines of the Constitution makes me as un-American as those that are currently in control.

No oversight is what got us here. The federal govt should have a balanced budget. If not, then ALL federal employees should be laid off until the budget is balanced, just as the states do. Why are they allowed to spend money they don’t have? Running trillions in debt gives the govt the perfect opportunity to go rogue with the people’s money, wage illegal wars, wage illegal black ops, declare martial law, and do anything it wants to, regardless of the law of the Constitution.
