The U.S. Senate may pass legislation to slow climate change and then fail to approve a global treaty that commits nations to do so, Senator John Kerry said.
Kerry, chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, will be a leader in Senate efforts to place the first domestic curbs on greenhouse gases, after the House approved a measure last week. Even if a Senate bill passes, there may not be enough support to ratify an international accord incorporating the U.S. commitments, the Massachusetts Democrat said in an interview.
A possible Senate rejection poses a threat to the 192- nation effort to forge an agreement, which scientists say can help slow warming that’s raising sea levels and changing rainfall patterns globally.
“We are definitely going to make more progress if there is a strong international agreement that the U.S. is a party to,” said Nigel Purvis, who in the 1990s worked as a U.S. negotiator on the Kyoto climate treaty that the U.S. didn’t ratify. Passing domestic climate-change legislation remains the most crucial step, Purvis said.

I agree that global warming is just another mechanism of exploitation, but I can think of at least one scam that beats it:
The Federal Reserve System.
They create new money for the US economy. But here’s the kicker: this private consortium of bankers then takes possession of that new money. Then they lend it to the government, businesses and people of America with the agreement that it will be paid back to them WITH INTEREST as though the money was legitimately theirs to begin with.

Actually the new religion of western culture would be more accurately described as “Science” in general. Global warming is of course a mantra of the scientific community, but it would be more of a sermon or a hymn than the religion itself in this analogy.
Regardless, if a lay person believes what they are told by the high priest (or the nuclear physicist) of the order without conducting their own objective study and making their own conclusions, they are practicing a religion and not empericism.
It’s funny to me that a methodology that was developed based solely on emperical observation has evolved into a religion complete with fanatics and witch-burners in our age

The effects of the commercial R/E market are already being seen, but we are still on the fringes. As strip malls turn into ghost towns, the solid benefactor appears to be Walmart. Your thinking… more Chinese crap for us to buy. More melamine-laden baby formula, more lead in the paint and all the other dangers of the unregulated imports. Well, it may be a ghost town on the shelves there too! We are at the verge of the Chinese supplying no more credit to the US. There is already food rotting at the ports, cars in massive parking lots and ships because there is NO trust anymore in the Letter of Credit

Bear in mind that these are the very people paying on credit cards, or not, as the case may be. Meanwhile the Obama-noids still follow anything he puts out. The sheep are being led to the communist slaughter. Most people aren’t even aware of the Bills they are trying to pass in the dark of night. If its packaged in a nice speech, with a teleprompter, Obama is our savior.

I hate to say it, but we are headed to a probable Civil War II. The catalyzing event here may be the audit of the Federal Reserve as proposed on HR 1207 in the Congress now. There are 190 sponsors to the bill. At 214 its all but a done deal. There will need to be a false flag set up here to get the people to be entertained with the next 911 or War.
