Senator Predicts “Revolution” If Banks Don’t Lend
Dodd highlights rising public anger at credit crunch, bailout

Senator Christopher Dodd has shockingly predicted that public anger at banks’ refusal to disperse credit could lead to a “revolution,” while another analyst says government intervention could mean banks are cut out of the loop entirely.
“If it turns out that they are hoarding, you’ll have a revolution on your hands. People will be so livid and furious that their tax money is going to line their pockets instead of doing the right thing. There will be hell to pay,” Dodd told the New York Times this weekend.
Meanwhile, Chief Investment Strategist Sean Corrigan from Diapason Commodities Management told CNBC this morning that banks may have to be “cut out of the loop” if the freeze in credit markets continues, forcing governments to act as the lender of last resort.

Corrigan said that banking was, “A business which is desperately in need of a cull in the world but nobody wants a bank to go down for fear that they bring all banks down, so we’ve locked ourselves into this position.”
Saying that the big mistake by central banks was the move not to save banking, but to save individual banks, Corrigan stated, “Ultimately yes, if the banks don’t restart, the authorities will have to start acting as the monetizers of last resort, they’ll have to start dispensing commercial credit between non-financial institutions and cut banking out of the loop if necessary.”
As the George Washington Blog documents, the banks have openly stated that they will keep hoarding cash no matter how much money the feds give them.

What Do You See?

How would your mind perceive the following sequence of events if you were watching this unfold in another country?
Supreme Court judges betray their oath and prevent votes from being counted in a national election to install an unelected president. (Coordinated nationwide election fraud provides him a second term.)
Nine months later a spectacular mass murder takes place in a major city that involves three skyscrapers imploding into their own footprints within ten seconds each, pulverizing all of the non-metallic constituents into a fine powder that covers the city. Evidence from the crime scene is immediately removed and the unelected regime obstructs investigation into the crime for over one year. Without evidence or trial, foreign patsies are blamed for the crime by a Commission appointed by the unelected president.
The unelected president and his regime relentlessly invoke the memory of this shocking event to justify:
The most radical reconstruction of the Government in fifty years;
Systematic destruction of civil liberties and constitutional protections;
Systematic transfer of government services and functions to private corporations;
Ongoing seizure and privatization of public assets by corporate and foreign entities;
Dictatorial seizure of unconstitutional Executive authority with presidential signing statements;
Government surveillance of citizens: phone, Internet, banking, medical records, library records;

Nationwide detention camps constructed for future purposes;
Blackwater mercenary bases within the country’s borders;
Regional Fusion Centers used by police to collect information on every citizen;
Secret Government databases mark one million citizens as ‘terrorists;’
Military units deployed to control the civilian population;
Unconstitutional Presidential control of State National Guards and local police;
Dissolution of national sovereignty through secret agreements with transnational conspirators;
Relentless propaganda that misinforms the public through controlled media outlets;
The regime is filled with ideological extremists and political appointees who hold dual citizenship:
The dual citizen Attorney General refuses to denounce torture or enforce Congressional subpoenas;
The dual citizen Secretary of DHS is granted authority to waive all laws without judicial oversight;
The dual citizen who leased the demolished skyscrapers is awarded billions of dollars in insurance claims by the duel citizen Judge who concurrently forbade victims to file claims against the government;
The dual citizen White House Chief of Staff recruits Goldman Sachs colleague as Treasury Secretary; and
Trillions of dollars disappear from Pentagon accounts under the dual citizen Comptroller of the Currency.
Congress systematically destroys financial sector regulations that protect the public;
The unelected president declares authority to suspend the Constitution and take over financial institutions;
The Federal Reserve Chairman and Treasury Secretary encourage and protect Wall Street fraud;
Trillions of dollars in fictitious Wall Street derivatives fracture the country’s financial system;
Middle class savings, pensions and retirement accounts are eviscerated;
Middle class property is devalued and confiscated nationwide through mortgage and foreclosure fraud;
Perpetrators of the fraud are rewarded with billions of taxpayer dollars;
The Federal Reserve Chairman expands his authority in defiance of constitutional mandates;
The Treasury Secretary eliminates Goldman Sachs competition and consolidates its monopoly;
The Fed Chairman and Treasury Secretary use taxpayer loans to buy stock in private financial institutions; and
The national debt escalates to trillions of dollars as the currency collapses.
Taken as a whole does this look like random incompetence or a fascist coup d’etat?

The conflict consumed everyone in the U.S. by 2012 and ended with a very short World War III.
How can we survive the war?
If you want to survive the coming conflict, learn to let fear keep you alive. Too many of you turn off the life-saving natural instincts and premonitions when it’s convenient. What do you think caused this whole credit mess?
Banks make money borrowing money cheaply and lending it out at higher rates.
Bankers realized their profits were limited by:
1. The number of credit-worthy borrowers.
2. The amount of money they had to loan.
Fractional reserve banking removes limit #2. Ignoring all common sense and loaning money to people who can’t pay it back removes limit #1.
Central bankers convinced ignorant elected officials that this was all a good idea since it “grew” the economy and “created jobs.”

The banks were not extending the credit even before the crisis. You have, or will have a 1% rate and what are you getting back? Not 1% that is for sure. People should be able to re-figure home loans, credit card loans, student loans, etc, etc……….to try and believe that re-valuation is not going to help our present situation is insanity! The banks don’t want this because it will obviously hurt their bottom line, but this is exactly what we need right now to get the system working. Let the govt become banker……….then maybe we can get rid of the filth on wall street. The only thing paulson is going to do is make sure GS and all his evil buddies get big payoffs for doing the most criminal thing of the century!!!!!!!! I wish. Revolution is healthy, it is a purging, a cleaning out of the scum. If the real economy is going south, no real bank is going to feel confident to extend credit. We deregulated and allowed monopolies to form. Then, we rewarded companies to move their manufacturing to countries with slave labor. If people have no jobs, they cannot buy what you are making, no matter how cheaply you have made it. So, business is down. With business down and people losing their jobs right and left, credit was slow before the crunch. They then pushed that bailout money on huge banks with no requirement that they lend it out. Of course, they are going to use it to buy out their competition at a fire sale. They are threatening the wrong people with revolution for the wrong reasons. What they need to do is revisit anti-trust. The small community bank has an interest in growing the community and has a feel for who would be trustworthy. Certainly, there have been abuses by the haves against the have nots in those circumstances. But, that is what regulation is for. Chastising people who have been proven untrustworthy and greedy for just taking money given without strings is false outrage. The purpose for that bailout was to facilitate this consolidation on steroids. But, I think that what control they think they have is fast evaporating. Knowledge is power. It is not nearly as easy to pull off a con with absolutely everybody watching all the angles worldwide.

The human race isn’t and never was “vile”. Our civilization is vile, not the species. You don’t see Native Americans doing this sh*t, Australian Aboriginals either, OR ANY TRIBAL Human Beings. The major MALFUNCTION that we seem to be experiencing is in our social/economic structure. The Civilization we created is a vile machine, and all it is capable of is eating as much as is available. That is it’s FUNCTION.
Civilization is like the Corporate Business model; it’s function and our needs/wishes cannot be reconciled, it doesn’t make ALL businesses evil.
Ask yourself this: If Humans didn’t double their population through Totalitarian Agriculture, conquer the surrounding lands, plant crops, then repeat, until the world was swarming with us, would we really be so vile? That’s the work of civilization right there.
Lastly. As a Human Being (born and raised) I am fully aware of the Vileness of the human condition and psyche. But to say that humans are inherently vile is like saying a lab-rat that spends it’s whole existence in a maze is a good example of the entire natural species.

There may well be public outrage but “revolution” is not the word because
the public does not have the resources in their hands physically to “start over” or
have the capability mentally to devise a new organized socio/economic system all
thanks to “education”.If people resort to violence in trying to overthrow the government
that is not going to bring change or revolution,it will be the trigger to install marshall law
and resort in the loss of more freedoms.Debate all you like on what must be done,talk
about firearms and whatever but the reality is we need to think outside the box for once.
During the middle ages,secret societies helped control the outcomes of so called “peoples
revolutions” by having members on both sides and they have been and still are anticipating

U.S. and Texas Law on Independent Militias
Our duty as citizens
Most American citizens are aware that the U.S. Constitution guarantees certain rights and limits the powers of government. However, it also imposes certain duties, not only on organs of government, but on each citizen. One of these duties is to function as members of the Militia, and the state has the duty to organize and train citizens to so serve.
The U.S. Constitution provides for this in Article I, Section 8:
Congress shall have power …
To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions;
To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining, the Militia, and for governing such Part of them as may be employed in the service of the United States, reserving to the States respectively, the Appointment of the Officers, and the Authority of training the Militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress;
The Framers contemplated that the citizens who compose the Militia would provide their own weapons, which is reflected in the Second Amendment:
A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
It is important to understand that the prevailing practice at the time the Constitution was adopted was for people in each locality to organize as independent local militias and to train themselves. The only change the Framers sought to make was to make this organization and training more systematic, along the model of Switzerland. They never imagined that future governments might try to restrict the local organization and training of independent militias by contending that people had the right to assemble and the right to keep and bear arms, but not to combine the two rights. To them that would have seemed absurd.
U.S. legislation on the Militia
In 1792 President Washington tried to get Congress to fully implement the constitutional requirement for organizing and training the Militia, but Congress, wanting to avoid the expense imposed on the states, only agreed to pass a law that required every able-bodied [free] male to keep a “musket or firelock”. This was the Militia Act of 1792. By failing to require organization and training, it laid the basis for the decline of the Militia tradition.
In 1903, the Militia Act of 1792 was superseded by the Dick Act, which established the National Guard system, and made a distinction between the “organized” and “unorganized” Militia, reflecting the attitude that the Powers that Be didn’t want most of the people to get organized as independent militias, despite the support for universal military training from most U.S. Presidents up to the administration of Harry Truman.
The Dick Act is encoded in 10 USC:
United Stated Code (USC)
TITLE 10–ARMED FORCES
Section 311. Militia: composition and classes
(a) The militia of the United States consists
of all able-bodied males at least 17 years of age and, except as provided in section 313 of title 32, under 45 years of age who are, or who have made a declaration of intention to become, citizens of the United States and of female citizens of the United States who are commissioned officers of the National Guard.
(b) The classes of the militia are–
(1) the organized militia, which consists of the National Guard and the Naval Militia; and
(2) the unorganized militia, which consists of the members of the militia who are not members of the National Guard or the Naval Militia.
Section 312. Militia duty: exemptions
(a) The following persons are exempt from militia duty:
(1) The Vice President.
(2) The judicial and executive officers of the United States, the several States and Territories, Puerto Rico, and the Canal Zone.
(3) Members of the armed forces, except members who are not on active duty.
(4) Customhouse clerks.
(5) Persons employed by the United States in the transmission of mail.
(6) Workers employed in armories, arsenals, and naval shipyards of the United States.
(7) Pilots on navigable waters.
(8) Mariners in the sea service of a citizen of, or a merchant in, the United States.
(b) A person who claims exemption because of religious belief is exempt from militia duty in a combatant capacity, if the conscientious holding of that belief is established under such regulations as the President may prescribe. However, such a person is not exempt from militia duty that the President determines to be noncombatant.
TITLE 32–NATIONAL GUARD
Section 313. Appointments and enlistments: age limitations
(a) To be eligible for original enlistment in the National Guard, a person must be at least 17 years of age and under 45, or under 64 years of age and a former member of the Regular Army, Regular Navy, Regular Air Force, or Regular Marine Corps. To be eligible for reenlistment, a person must be under 64 years of age.
(b) To be eligible for appointment as an officer of the National Guard, a person must–
(1) be a citizen of the United States; and
(2) be at least 18 years of age and under 64.
It should be understood that these definitions apply only to the Militia that is subject to call-up by the federal government, and states may require other people to perform militia duty, with different age ranges and exemptions.
Texas law on the Militia
The Texas Constitution once had a strong provision regarding militias:
Article 16. Section 46.
The Legislature shall provide by law for organizing and disciplining the militia of the State, in such manner as they shall deem expedient, not incompatible with the Constitution and Laws of the United States.
This section was deleted. The effect of this is that such authority reverts back to local communities.
Present statutes are encoded in Texas Government Code Chapter 431:
Subchapter A. General Provisions
431.001. Definitions
In this chapter:
(1) “Reserve militia” means the persons liable to serve, but not serving, in the state military forces.
(2) “State militia” means the state military forces and the reserve militia.
(3) “State military forces” means the Texas National Guard, the Texas State Guard, and any other active militia or military force organized under state law.
(4) “Texas National Guard” means the Texas Army National Guard and the Texas Air National Guard.
431.010. Organization Prohibited
(a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), a body of persons other than the regularly organized state military forces or the troops of the United States may not associate as a military company or organization or parade in public with firearms in a municipality of the state.
(b) With the consent of the governor, students in an educational institution at which military science is a prescribed part of the course of instruction and soldiers honorably discharged from the service of the United States may drill and parade with firearms in public.
(c) This section does not prevent a parade by the active militia of another state as provided by law.
Subchapter D. Texas State Guard
431.051. Supplemental Militia
To provide militia strength for use by the state as a supplement to the Texas National Guard, the Texas State Guard exists as part of the state militia under the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution and a defense force under 32 U.S.C. Section 109.
Subchapter F. Service and Duties
431.081. Persons Subject to Military Duty; Persons Not Eligible to Enlist
(a) A person is subject to military duty if the person is:
(1) able-bodied;
(2) a citizen or a person of foreign birth who has declared an intent to become a citizen;
(3) a resident of the state;
(4) at least 18 and not more than 60 years of age; and
(5) not exempt under Subsection (b) or (c) or United States law.
(b) A person is exempt from military duty, except in case of war, insurrection, invasion, or imminent danger of war, insurrection, or invasion if the person is:
(1) the lieutenant governor;
(2) a member or officer of the legislature;
(3) a judge or clerk of a court of record;
(4) a head of a state agency;
(5) a sheriff, district attorney, county attorney, county tax assessor-collector, or county commissioner;
(6) a mayor, council member, alderman, or assessor and collector of a municipality;
(7) an officer or employee of the Texas Department of Corrections, a state hospital or special school, a public or private hospital, or a nursing home;
(8) a member of a regularly organized and paid fire or police department in a municipality, except that a person is not relieved of military duty by joining such a department;
(9) a minister of the gospel exclusively engaged in that calling; or
(10) a person who conscientiously scruples against bearing arms.
(c) A mentally disabled person, vagabond, confirmed alcoholic, narcotics addict, or a person convicted of an infamous crime is exempt from military duty regardless of circumstances.
Now, what about that Section 431.010 prohibiting military companies or organizations or parades within municipalities? It clearly expresses hostility to independent local militias within municipalities, but it has no penalties, and does not apply to rural areas. It’s main intent seems to be to discourage local officials from calling up the militia.
The only statutes which local officials might invoke against a militia muster within a municipality would be those against exhibiting a firearm in a way that “alarms” the public. However, centuries of common law makes it clear that merely carrying firearms is not to be considered “alarming”. The arms must actually be brandished toward someone in a threatening manner. This would not prevent arrests on this ground, of course, but successful prosecution is unlikely if the courts follow the law and the Constitution.
Some of these points are more fully discussed in 29 Tex. Jur., Sections 4 and 5, and in 12 Tex. Jur. 3d., Sections 12-28.
The only significant case law involving this statute is a federal case, Vietnamese Fishermen’s Ass’n v. Knights of the Ku Klux Klan (D.C. 1982) 543 F.Supp. 198, in which the plaintiff invoked the state statute in a federal suit for injunction against the defendant. The injunction was granted, and the judge took advantage of the case to write an opinion on the interpretation of the state statute. However, that opinion has no stare decisis effect, because this was not an appeal, nor was the judgement appealed. The injunction was properly granted under common law against intimidation, but a federal judge had no real business interpreting state law. However, it is indicative of how that judge might decide the constitutional issues in other cases. The case does, however, underscore the importance of distinguishing between private associations and public militias, and of making sure that any constitutional militias that may be organized take care not to take on the attributes of a private group. Too many people, including authorities, have examples in mind like the KKK, and we must always make sure to distance ourselves from such partisan organizations, and, indeed, indicate that the suppression of such groups is one of the things that a real militia might be called up to do.
There is another statute that arguably involves the Militia, the Texas Disaster Act of 1975, which has among its purposes, “providing an emergency management system embodying all aspects of predisaster preparedness and postdisaster response. See 12 Tex. Jur. 3d. Sections 51-53. If fully implemented, the organization of local militia units seems to be required under this Act.
Conclusions
Present U.S. and Texas law clearly fail to implement the requirements for organizing and training the Militia established by the Framers. However, we must also recognize that this failure goes all the way back to 1792, and that such organizing and training are, therefore, left to the people themselves, in the form of independent local militias, which they have a constitutional duty to maintain in a high state of preparedness, even if they get little support from the authorities, and indeed, especially if they get opposition from the authorities.

Let’s see. First the fed gov pressures banks to lend money for homes so that people that normally could not buy could buy. But the banks come up with a loan that so drastically changes the interest rates it is sure to cause default on the loans due to dounbling, tripling and even quadrupaling payments quickly. Then when the economy goes oh so bad, forclosures are at the highest EVER and people are in fear because the banks are failing left and right the gov comes up with this bailout blank check idea to help the same banks that WON’T help the ones that trully need credit and the same banks that when you are overdrawn charge you more of what they already KNOW you don’t have even though it has cost them NOTHING at all. So we have to bail out the banks with our tax dollars. Now it is looking like this blank check from the gov is nothing more than a payout to the banking bigwigs to line their pockets with while they STILL won’t lend money. Does this about sum it all up? But what ever you do…. do not write in a candidate. They ignore that and it will not be counted. Vote third party and make your vote count. Any third party candidate would be an improvement over the ones that have been hand picked to pick your pocket.

Great post Nikki. I know you have a clear vision. I keep asking people when they are going to wake up and realize that this is a coup de etat?
We have been taken over. All talk about this “illuminati” is just a side show, as the true perpetrators are from Israel.
Until we address this dysfunctional relationship that we have with a rogue state, and it’s undue influence on us, we will suffer the consequences of having a snake in our midst.

Paul’s command to husbands is every bit as challenging as his command to women. I struggle daily to “Love my wife as Christ loved the church”. True Christians (which may be outnumbered by as many as 9-1 nominal Christians, according to annual Barna Group surveys) do not abuse their wives.
Perhaps your life experience is jaded by exposure to nominal Christian men–those who embrace the label “Christian”, wear crosses, and go to church each Sunday, but who do not know the LORD.
I encourage you to look harder. There are some great Christian men out there who really love the LORD and love their wives! Many have been happily married for 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 years. Their wives do not feel oppressed, trapped, or abused. Rather, they feel cherished, treasured, and secure. I thank God for my lovely wife!!!!!!

Banks hoarding paper money is really a sick illusion. Now if it was gold, that would make sense. Paper money has no intrinsic value. We are worked and taxed to keep us in this sick

The evil greed for power that is controlling our country does not really care about money as much as it cares about power and telling us that government is God and is pushing us(or the next generation) into a civil war or revolution we did not ask for and want to avoid.
We want things better for the next generation. Look at those who secrificed. Look at all the graves in Normandy and you will see a lot of crosses and stars of david.
While the focus is on almighty wall street(almight moneey) and who caused this mess in our economy lets remember who we are and vote a pro-life candidate. You can’t take money with you but you can take life with you. Being pro-life is being pro-eternal life. Vote pro-life. Vote for God.

Who is ultimately responsible for this mess? It is the democract and republican parties that allowed the rules to be “bent” for the benefit of their banker friends that give them the money to stay in power. On Nov. 4 send them a message, don’t vote for any republican or democrat. Vote for the Libertarian, Constitution or Green Parties because at least they haven’t bankrupted the American people. The main two parties have had their chance and they’ve failed miserably.

haha it is not time for a revolution! from our experience in the seventies here in italy, I can say that a revolution can succeed only if:
-production system has evolved in a new system that requires the substitution of the old dominating class with a new dominating class; this is the only point in favour of a revolution now in USA; proletariat forces are so productive that capitalism – with its inavoidable overproduction crisis – cannot manage them any more.
-there is some world war or a violent fascist government: only in an extremely violent epoch, when masses face famine and starvation and their sons die in thousands, the proletariat can take command; today americans have not switched their mentality to an extensive use of violence, and still believe in the illusion of democracy
-the proletariat is organized in a centralized, steel-strong revolution party such the leninist party in old Russia; nowadays, youngsters prefer surf in the internet, an organizing method that has absolutely no chance to succeed, because on the internet you cannot develop that particular method of training masses, both on Marx theories study and on fight organizing
-also, to maintain the power, an organized and successful revolutionary party has to be extended in main world economic countries, a situation really really far from reality today.
Now it’s the time for a counter-revolution prepared by capitalists against the proletariat; people believe in democracy, and will lose badly. Remember: historically, left parties (democrats, in USA) ALWAYS acted in a counter-revolutionary way when capitalists needed an help to enpoverish the masses or to sacrifice them in a war.
