Shelling of South Ossetia capital stopped

The shelling of the capital of Georgia’s breakaway republic of South Ossetia has now stopped. Tskhinvali and the surrounding area were the focus of fierce fighting for more than 24 hours. South Ossetian authorities claim 1500 people have been killed.

   CNN says that Interfax reports 2,000 dead.
   Saakashvili gave a speech about him declaring martial law with two flags behind him: the Georgian and the EU’s, both with a golden fringe mind you.
   As if he was saying that the whole EU is now under martial law as well.

   Georgia is hoping for support by having the e.u flag in it’s background speech….

   Georgia has to accept the loss of it’s province…
   the Ossetians want to be free from georgian rule…
   just like the kosovo albanians wanted freedom from the serb’s….

   don’t we all want freedom from tyranical goverments…

   Brandon, That is Exactly what the hidden powers want. The only thing we don’t know is how far this may go. One thing is certain, though; the three warring parties will be weaker. And so will the U.S. if we get involved. The vultures always win no matter what flag the carrion is carrying.

   All this should show everyone once again that political nationalism is a dead end. Workers and soldiers across Georgia and Russia and in South Ossetia should form workers-and-soldiers councils to take control of the situation away from the Kremlin state terrorists, the Israel and U.S. state terrorists, the E.U. superstate terrorists, and all the other elements of the New World Order. Workers in and out of uniform have every interest in common and NO common interest with the bankers’ governments that run the modern political states. CULTURAL nationalism (cultural autonomy) must be defended, and the only way to do this is for workers throughout the world to rally to the defense of beleaguered cultural minorities. Topple all bourgeois and religious governments everywhere! WORLD REVOLUTION! – the only road to peace!

    Saakashvili is the war mongerer here. He is a hothead who is directly responsible for the deaths of 2000 people by shelling and attacking Tskhinvali. Russia has every right to intervene and force the Georgian forces back. Saakashvili has violenty repressed Georgian opposition against his rule last year. As Westerner I find it unbelievable how anti Russian the Western media is and how they distort the facts.

    He was offered a fellowship on the United States State Department.
    He met with Bush last March (see the date of the second picture with Bush), watch the handshake on the first picture though.

    I think all nations should adopt the American Constitution and Bill of Rights. Just without amendment 13 and the patriot act (including amendment), the NSA and all the other privacy invading or freedom limiting acts.
