It’s hardly a distraction, this Sotomayor whatever. Congress and Our Esteemed Leader are trying to hide anything – they don’t have to. They have the country ass-up on the bed and they are about to have their way with us. They are rushing it through before the consequences of each monumentally bad decision can really begin to show; otherwise, the nation would not accept it. And Aunty Semite, why don’t you just define “better health care system” instead of quoting it with righteous indignation and pretending that you are more intelligent than a piece of shit. There is no “health care crisis” like the political class wishes us to believe – I know from personal experience. I was self-employed and very poor for over ten years but never failed to get the health care I needed from local hospitals and physicians. I, er, PAID for it over time. Oh wait …! You want it … FREE!? Work for it, asshole; don’t make someone else responsibile for YOUR personal shit.
