To answer your question, of course science is in some part subjective, because scientists are human. That is why there are guidelines and procedures that are used to ensure human bias doesn’t affect the quality of the science. Things like peer review for example, where other scientists in the same field (many who have their own axe to grind) subject papers to criticism in an attempt to expose any flaws or bias.

Notice how many long standing “deniers” were included in the IPCC process. They were there to keep it honest, and they did.

Doesn’t change the fact that the SCIENCE is good. The IPCC was nothing but a political panel designed to collate the work of tens of thousands of the world’s scientists. It did NO research itself. NONE of the science behind AGW was done by the IPCC. So no matter what your beef with the IPCC, it doesn’t change the fact that AGW is real and potentially devastating.
