A truck bombing in central Afghanistan has left 25 people dead, including many school children, officials say.
The vehicle – rigged with explosives hidden under firewood – blew up on a main road from the south and east of the country which heads into the capital Kabul.
It had overturned, apparently deliberately, and authorities in Logar province were trying to move it when it exploded, the officials added.

Provincial police chief Ghulam Mustafa Mohsini said: “In the explosion today 21 civilians and four policemen have been martyred.
“The civilians include school students and male elders.
