In the terror war launched by former President George W. Bush and former Prime Minister Tony Blair, everyone is suspected and many innocent have been accused or held in suspicion without cause. Sadly, this has almost become expected.
It is in this context that I say the United Kingdom appears to have one exceptional ‘fuster-cluck’ on its hands.
It was mere weeks ago when 12 men were arrested and Britain’s most senior counter-terrorism officer was stepping down for carrying classified documents in plain view of reporters’ cameras. The documents, as it turned out, carried sensitive details on a series of pending police raids.
Hours after the security row erupted, police crashed in on 12 people at numerous addresses, alleging the arrests were tied to a threat by al-Qaida.
“Home Secretary Jacqui Smith made no comment about the officer’s mistake [in breaching security]. Instead, she praised police for their professionalism,” reported the BBC on April 8. “‘The decision to take such action was an operational matter for the police and the security service,’ she said, adding that she and the Prime Minister had been kept informed of developments.”
Which would seem to make sense, considering how messy a terror war can get. And why wouldn’t the Prime Minister himself be following the operation? After all, it was a credible threat to national security these men posed, right? Well…
“Nine men detained in a major security operation intended to thwart what the Prime Minister said was “a very big terrorist plot” were released without charge tonight,” reported the Times Online on April 21.
“The men, Pakistani nationals who were in Britain on student visas, were handed by police to immigration authorities and now face deportation on national security grounds.
“They had been detained for 13 out of a possible 28 days but were released because there was no concrete evidence connecting them to terrorist activity.”
“It said 11 people were targeted for arrest, 10 of them Pakistan nationals in Britain on student visas, and one British,” reported The Star immediately after the arrests took place.
British Home Secretary Jacqui Smith told the House of Commons that the security breach had not harmed the planned raids in any way, the Times reported.
The whole bloody waste makes me wonder whether the Prime Minister Gordon Brown, at any point in time, actually asked his enforcement apparatus what sort of evidence they’d collected against the formerly accused. It also makes me wonder how much unquestioned authority these police types actually wield in the U.K.
Why must it seem nearly all enforcement catches the Jack Baurer syndrome when it comes to so-called terrorists?

There is only one reason why they are being released today – its probably the most important budget ever. A great day to release bad news for the government.
I am sorry – but there are even undiscovered African tribes who knew that this would be the outcome.

none of these raids find convictions, and thats because its just for the cameras. the MSM will show the raids taking place, but they wont tell you when the people are released so that people keep believing this terror threat nonsense.

Usual Watson and Jones orwellian ‘newspeak’.
Freed? FREED? ***FREED***?
Since when are you freed by being moved into another prison? I guess Hitler’s victims were ‘freed’ when they were moved from a gestapo prison to the local concentration camp?
Look at the prisonplanet headline. DID YOU KNOW THAT 95%+ OF PEOPLE NEVER SEE MORE THAN THE HEADLINE? ALEX JONES DOES!
Of course, Watson, and the other people that do Jones’s bidding here, use the ‘reprint’ excuse. Which is interesting, given that prisonplanet implies the strongest desire to have editorial control. A headline is always up for editorial control- in other words the headline, at the very least, should be written by prisonplanet staff.
WHY DO WE HAVE THE PRINCIPLE OF “INNOCENT UNLESS ***PROVEN*** GUILY”? This case illustrates why. Without ‘innocent unless proven guilty’, the state can always use the old saw of ‘no smoke without fire’.
The headline should have read:
“British authorities find Pakistani Students innocent of all charges, but intend to deport them anyway”
This new headline is NOT an opinion. It is a statement of legal facts based upon our recognised principles of justice. Innocent unless proven guilty means that the default position is innocence. Now, obviously, if your government is corrupt, it will refuse to prosecute some known criminals, and that lack of action does not make those criminals innocent of their crimes. However, that situation does not apply here.
The UK has thought crime and police state laws beyond anything seen in Stalin’s Russia, or Hitler’s Germany. Even so, Blair’s New Labour Nazis could find nothing at all to use against these muslim students. Nothing they said. Nothing they wrote. Nothing they had on their computers. Nothing they did.
Why then were they arrested? Come on, what idiot would ask such a question? In the week after they were rounded up, the zionist controlled media outlets in the UK pumped out non-stop racist filth against muslims. The end result is that the people of the UK demand that no foreign muslim be allowed to study in the UK, and all british muslim students should be placed under 24 hour a day surveillance. RESULT FOR TONY ‘HITLER II’ BLAIR.

The default is now guilty.
As the UK is part of the EC it now follows ‘Naploeonic’ law as signed by Parliament with various EC treaties.
What this has done is to make EC law more important in the UK than Parliaments law.
Therefore I ACCUSE takes precedent over INNOCENT UNLESS PROVEN GUILTY.
The UK legal system is so out gunned now that EC laws overide the basic common law that has prevailed for centuries here.
The death throes of this fake scottish government is now desperatley grabbing at anything to make it appear that there is something behind the curtain apart from the WIZARD OF EUROPE.
