Swedish Member Of Parliament: Leading Politicians Support 9/11 Truth Movement
UPDATE 11/11/09: As pointed out by a reader, Egon Frid has recently retracted his support for 9/11 Truth, stating that it has had a “negative impact” on his career and life. A statement on his blog reads:
“I hope it is clear that I regret that I wrote on the petition and reject the theories, other than the official investigation.”

A Swedish Member of Parliament has pledged support for a new investigation into the events of 9/11, adding that prominent political figures support the view that elements of the U.S. government were involved in staging the attacks.
An article headlined “The U.S. was part of the attack” in the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet, highlights comments made by MP Egon Frid of the country’s “Left Party”.
“The U.S. administration knew of the terrorist attack before and was a part of it,” Frid said in an interview with Swedish TV network TV4 on it’s “Kalla Facts” (Hard Facts) programme.
“My curiosity has once again led me in new ways and to top it all, I have new theories about what really happened 9/11″ Frid writes on his blog.
Frid, who was elected to parliament as a full member in 2006, also stated that he knows there are several leading politicians in Sweden who are interested in the Truth Movement’s message, but they will not go public with their views “because it is an impossible debate.”
Frid also revealed that he has joined the “Political Leaders For 9/11 Truth” group, to which other notables have pledged support, such as Andreas von Bülow, former German State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Defense, Yukihisa Fujita, Japanese Member of Parliament, Michael Meacher, Minister of the British Parliament, Cynthia McKinney, Jesse Ventura, and many other political luminaries from all corners of the globe.
The group was founded earlier this year, joining the growing ranks of professionals calling for a new independent investigation into 9/11, including the groups:

Considering that fascism has been slowly installed in the US at least since the 60s it might actually be too little too late. If people had listened to what LaRouche said about Bush back in 1980 it would have been much better. It seems that as the US gets weaker, the rest of the political world is slowly getting out from under its’ stone to tell the people what it really thinks.
If by some miracle the US resolves all its’ fincial problems tomorrow and become the great power house it once was, the same politicians would go back under and hide.

It irritates the hell out of me. As a Brit I have to say that most Yanks I have met have been thoroughly decent and kind folk. When I was in college there, everyone was polite, helpful and good to the foreign students. So you can imagine my stupification at what overcome the US in a last few years.
What amazes me is how a shitty little country, Israel, has led the US by the nose and provoked such utter madness in all spheres of life.

With so many people moving toward the truth, I wonder about what it will mean if the truth comes out. Considering that there are so many people involved and so many organizations, will the rest of the world blame it on the people who did it or will they blame it on America as a whole? If they do blame it on America, will this bring war to America? Will America see their homes bombed? Will America be under attack by the rest of the world? Did these elite bring boom and gloom to a once free country?
Is it possible that they have planned this so that they could have a war here? This would give the the opportunity to bring in martial law and take full control over us.
I am a Canadian but as most of you know that our border that separates us is nothing anymore. United States and Canada are together in this fight for freedom.
I am just putting my thoughts out there to see what others my think. If my thoughts are right, we need to inform the world that the people of North America are not to blame. The people of North America want justice, not war.

Sorry guys… it sounds good n all with him “supporting” the thruth movement.
But sadly he is to scared of loosing his political career. During the intervjue (atleast the part that aired here in Sweden) he distances himself from these “theories” and refuses to speak about hes current views on the subject (classical “no comment rethoric”).
The only reason they brought him on the program is to enforce a “point” made by David Aaronovitch, a politcal commentator for the British Newspaper “The Times”.
Aaronovitch says that “the truth movement” is a serious threat towards democracy and “our way of life”, especially if “thruthers” reach positions within the political power (Riksdag here in Swe, hence they put this guy on).
In the program they also describe “the thruth movement” as a emotional irrational religious sect, with strong ties to antisemetic “hollocaust deniers” and other conspiracy theories; faked moonlanding, aliens, tinfoil hats and so forth. The usuall arguments.
This guy and the way they portraid him only makes “the movement” look worse, especially since he needs to grow himself “a pair…”.

I would assume that if these ‘ Foreign ‘ investigations were to commence , then the ‘ Facts and Evidences Already Known ‘ would get some air time on even the MSM’s wire IF they are pressured enough to air them . But I’m afraid that 911 is SO big in scope in Who was really involved with it is probably the Main reason why the U.S. Government won’t persude it . A couple of months ago this site had videos of “We are Change” giving scientific reports to various senators and representative saying proof positve of an “inside job” on 911.
Most notably to “Dr Ehrlich” Arlen Spector, but also to many other congressmen.
What ever happen to that?

I would like to clarify some definitions for everyone on the subject of Zion. While there does appear to be a powerful force trying to impose a Leviathon upon the masses of the world. And they advance their agenda with disception, war, and clandestine operations. And they appear to have written their main manifesto in the 1700’s as contained in the Protocols of the Elders of Zion and to have called themselves the Illuminati. While much has been written in recent years to try to dismiss the fact that America was founded upon the biblical principals of Judeo-Christianity, all the revisionism in the world cannot change the facts. Anyone who examines the original writings, personal correspondence, biographies, and public statements of the individuals who were instrumental in the founding of America will find an abundance of quotations showing the profound extent to which their thinking and lives were influenced by a Christian worldview.

On March 23, 1775, when Patrick Henry spoke the now famous phrase, “Give me liberty or give me death!” to arouse the Second Virginia Convention to arms against they tyranny of Great Britain, he noted that “we have done everything that could be done to avert the storm which is now coming upon us.” During the critical years of 1765-1776, the American colonies had been forced to endure taxation without representation, searches and seizures without probable cause, the confiscation of firearms, and on and on. Though the colonial leaders had tried to remain loyal to the Crown and reconcile their differences, they were finally compelled to break away in revolt.
The Declaration Of Independence was then written as a proclamation to the world of their reasons for separating from England. But while the Declaration gives a detailed list of legal offenses that England had left unresolved , the Founders saw these as more than isolated wrongs. Rather, they saw them as a part of a predetermined plan to take away their religious liberties and reestablish the church of England to rule over their hearts and souls, thus enslaving the colonies. In that light, one understands the power of Patrick Henry’s fiery words.
Faced with such prospects, the Declaration stated that the American colonists were set to defend “the laws of nature and of nature’s God” — laws of nature were understood to mean the will of God for man as revealed to man’s reason. However, because man is fallen and his reason does not always comprehend this law, God gave His law in the Bible to make it absolutely clear.
Thus, it was the churches that became the primary source that stirred the fires of liberty, telling the colonists that the English government was usurping their God given rights, and the King and Parliament were violating the laws of God. The Founding Fathers were convinced that it was their sacred duty to start a revolution to uphold the law of God against the unjust and oppressive laws of men. And the fight for political liberty was seen as a sacred cause because civil liberty was an inalienable right, according to God’s natural law.
The New England ministers, in particular, were decisive in rallying the popular moral support for war against England. They pressed their congregations to overthrow King George because they believed that rebellion to tyrants was obedience to God. From many pulpits, ministers recruited troops and strengthened them in battle with patriotic sermons.
While the church leaders were well schooled in the fact that the Bible placed great emphasis on due submission to civil authorities (Romans 13), they noted there are also many passages that approve resistance to ungodly authority. For instance, when the apostles were commanded by the Sanhedrin to cease preaching that Jesus Christ had risen from the dead, Peter boldly asserted: “ We ought to obey God rather than men” (Acts 5:29).
Therefore, it is no coincidence that one of the watchwords of the American Revolution was “No King but King Jesus.” For most of the patriots, their faith gave them the courage to stand on God’s Word and risk their lives and properties to break the tyranny of an unjust human authority. In their Christian Worldview, obedience to God took precedence over country or government, and their primary allegiance was to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Indicative of this spirit, in 1775, the Lutheran pastor John Gabriel Muhlenberg preached a sermon on Ecclesiastes 3:1, “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.” Concluding the message, he declared, “In the language of the Holy Writ, there is a time for all things. There is a time to preach and a time to fight. And now is the time to fight.” He then threw off his clerical robes to reveal the uniform of a Revolutionary Army officer. That afternoon, at the head of 300 men, he marched off to join General Washington’s troops and became Colonel of the 8th Virginia Regiment.
Ministers turned the colonial resistance into a righteous cause and served at every level in the conflict, from military chaplains to members of state legislators to taking up arms and leading troops into battle. And, ultimately, after two main British armies were captured by the Continental Army at Saratoga in 1777 and Yorktown in 1781, the other words of Patrick Henry to his fellow Virginians proved true: “Three millions of people, armed with the holy cause of liberty, and in such a country as that which we posses, are invincible by any force which our enemy can send against us.”

Personally I think he could have been LOUD AND PROUD, stood his ground and asked for his critics to look at the facts.

“The terrorist attacks of 11 September 2001 have left deep scars in many people in the world. All the best and worst for the thousands of dead and injured and their caregivers. The events have also influenced developments in many areas of the world, including the U.S. “war on terror”. Our history took a terrible turn the day when terrorist attacks hit the World Trade Center and other locations.
In April this year, I was drawn, by my curiosity about how the September 11 attacks could take place, to sign a petition to politicians with a request that President Barack Obama would make an independent investigation into the September 11 attacks.
If I then half a year earlier had known what I know today and with the knowledge I have today about being a part of question 11 September, I am of course not written to the call. It was a misjudgment to believe that an externally innocent appeal would not have any further consequences for me.
I have no evidence that further investigation could change anything. The official concluded that there was a terrorist attack must be left to stand as an explanation.
My name and my position as an MP has been used as income of different interests and different organizations for possible alternative explanations. These consequences, I could not see where I said during the call but has now seen me be interconnected by movements that I am not and never has been a part of, and opinions that I never have or will share.
I regret that I wrote to the call. I requested that my name be removed from the call. I have no past, present and future got to grips with something more than writing to the call. Everything else that cropped up on the road in the form of more or less dubious views, opinions and interests are taking me away from. I close the door on my part to September 11 and continue to take any further consequences of my actions from April this year. I would also warn anyone who in good faith enters into something like this call. We need to know what the appeal has been for the intentions and who is behind the call. If we ask any government to do a new “independent” investigation on the events of 911, we will wait forever. Why don’t we the people set up our own investigation and tribunal. The “authorities” will say this group has no right to do this. I don’t agree. Lets do it! Who takes the lead? I am a noname whitout any clout to do it.

I watched Kalla fakta on Sunday, and I must say that I was pretty disgusted at how poorly they dealt with the evidence that 9/11 was an inside job. The week before, they actually brought up some good points and interviewed some key figures. I almost thought the tide was turning, especially since they showed “Loose change” on tv that same evening.
Of course, this was too much to hope for. The following episode did not at all deal with evidence or facts. Instead, the whole episode was devoted to defaming the movement. It is a common tactic to turn to personal attacks and defamation when one doesn’t have counter arguments.
They claimed that the movement was sect like with anti-semantic influences and compared Truthers to Nazis. They also confronted and attacked Egon Frid to the point that he removed his name from the “Political Leaders For 9/11 Truth” group.
