Switzerland Vows To Block U.S. Authorities’ Demand For Private Bank Account Data

Switzerland has vowed to prevent UBS from handing over client information to U.S authorities, in an attempt to defend bank secrecy, saying a tax case targeting its main bank is souring diplomatic ties.
Wealth management giant UBS is facing a court hearing in Miami next week after refusing to disclose data on 52,000 Americans holders of secret Swiss bank accounts to U.S. tax authorities.

The Swiss Justice Ministry said on Wednesday that Swiss law prevents UBS from handing over client information and the government would seize UBS client data, if necessary, to stop that happening. The case, which comes amid a global fight against tax cheats supported by the U.S. administration, has damaged the UBS brand and could result in an expensive settlement for the bank at a time when the bank needs to focus on restructuring.
“Switzerland will use its legal authority to ensure that the bank cannot be pressured to transmit the information illegally, including if necessary by issuing an order taking effective control of the data at UBS,” the Swiss government said in a response to U.S. authorities filed in Miami on Tuesday.

Freedom of speech really means being able to say what you wish, without fear of repercussions.
Some people got pissed off at the 9/11 was an inside job thing… which is normal for the sheep. I say, if your going to wake people up, work with current events that everyone can agree pisses them off, and then, once they are in the loop, then and only then, expose them to the more horrible truths. If he had started with say, the bail outs, the looting by the corporations and banks, and America being bankrupt, he would have probably had followers, instead of people following him to whip his ass, and having to try and mow people down with his car to escape.

Well, if Switzerland won’t give the us what it wants, I can see that hefty staff of hackers the US got a few months ago, doing a massive cyber attack, looting the WHOLE of the Swiss banks, and then blaming the bank job on North Korea. Notice we had a cyber attack by North Korea last night? Sounds pretty convenient.

The IRS is NWO owned — just like The Fed. Don’t give the IRS squat. Not one dime, much less a red penny in tax money. The American people are taxed to death. They pay taxes on everything: road taxes (toll roads), gas tax, property tax, hunting tax, income tax, social security tax, sales tax, sin taxes, corporate business tax, capital gains tax, and not to mention all the other kinds of bull crapola fees and fines the govament makes us pay. Speeding tickets are another type of taxes. States collect taxes and forward it to the Big Government (National govament).
All these taxes, and schools are being shut down because the Department of Education is low on funding. Hahaha, screw the IRS. Their taxes are illegal anyway. The Constitution only allows flat taxes like the one the Fair Tax Act attempted to do. I hope the Swede stand up to these thugs.

If you are looking for safe off-shore banks, try somewhere much smaller countries. Switzerland has negotiated with the UN regulation. Swiss banks have a good interest rate, and UBS is one of them.

I hope UBS Warburg closes. Either that or they will hand over their U.S. customers’ names. Someone is going to get screwed. And Swiss law doesn’t fly in the U.S.

Yes there are crooks hiding their dough in Switzerland, but not all the wealthy are crooks. I know several people with substantial amounts of money that earned it and preserve it by keeping it away from our government that has an insatiable appetite for spending. Criminals rob banks, the government prints more more to inflate our dollar and steal from people without them knowing it. If you had a substantial amount of money and the freedom to park it anywhere what would you do??? Any deposit over $10,000 in a us bank has to be reported to the government. That to me seems a violation of privacy. I do not support the crooks of the world and the way they hurt people but I am all for privacy, especially in banking matters….

We must eventually know where the money that the politician criminal steal is located. Locate all of the blood money hidden in Switzerland and Israel and identify the owners. When we see that ex presidents and wives of presidents possess trillions of dollars, it will force the next logical question. Where did you get the money? That question and its subsequent investigation will bring down the evil elite and they know it. Once we prove that they have stolen from Americans and others, ALL of their stolen wealth should be confiscated and returned to those it was stolen from. This act alone would pay off all American debt and return much needed money to American government. I say we should put as much pressure to identify the owners of swiss accounts and the sooner the better.

There is alot of oil money tucked away in swiss accounts. There is quite a bit of special interest money tucked away in swiss accounts too and this would include the investments of many of our DC reps through embezzelment schemes. Even the FED uses the swiss accounts and I wouldn’t be surprised if some of that missing cash that was not spent in the stimulus is over there too. The satellite center for swiss banking is in cuba, yep, they(the swiss) have an embassy there too. During the primaries, I do know this, Obama spent some time travelling back and forth to Cuba. This is a long shot but I was thinking, maybe this is some kind of reverse psych ops by the adminstration to hold the swiss authorities accountable when in all reality, they want to secure their secrecy. maybe they ventured to envision some of our leaders in the future(now) woud want the books opened up on the swiss accounts?? Maybe they schemed and planned to embezzel quite a bit of cash from stimulus before the stimulus plans even took place! Im sure our money is everywhere, but I wouldn’t doubt quite a bit of it is also in swiss accounts. Only a thought as for some reason, my memory of Obamas trips to cuba during the primaries keep coming up now and then.

The Warburgs own stock in the Federal Reserve Corporation, which I believe is 70% foreign owned. I believe they probably own UBS which I believe was (or is) called UBS Warburg.
And a Warburg was present at the creation of the Fed.
