Texas Doctor Claims Swine Flu Cases Far Worse Than Reported, Level 6 Pandemic In Effect
Up to 25 times more victims than official figure, hospitals overwhelmed, virus already at level 6 pandemic phase

A doctor in Texas claims that swine flu cases are at least ten times worse than officials are letting on, and that hospitals are becoming overwhelmed as the virus has already crossed the threshold to be considered a phase 6 global pandemic.
Dr. Marcus Gitterle, an emergency medicine physician based out of New Braunfels, Texas, sent out an internal alert which contains several stunning claims about swine flu that, if true, officials have presumably sought to keep from the public.
“After I returned from a public health meeting yesterday with community leaders and school officials in Comal County and Hays County, (name removed) suggested I send an update to my patients in the area, because what we are hearing privately from the CDC and Health Department is different from what you are hearing in the media,” writes Gitterle.
The doctor claims that the actual number of confirmed cases of swine flu is 10 to 25 times worse than has been reported, and that people are not recovering easily, as has been claimed, but that many Americans are in fact seriously ill.

“The way they fudge on reporting this is that it takes 3 days to get the confirmatory nod from the CDC on a given viral culture, but based on epidemiological grounds, we know that there are more than 10 cases for each “confirmed” case right now,” claims Gitterle.
“This has not been in the media, but a 23 month old in Houston is fighting for his life, and a pregnant woman just south of San Antonio is fighting for her life,” he writes.
Gitterle’s mention of a “23 month old in Houston” obviously refers to the Mexican toddler who died on Monday night and was announced as the first U.S. fatality on Tuesday morning.

Quick access to drugs like Tamiflu and Relenza, as well as ventilators, is preventing fatalities on the scale of Mexico, but Gitterle warns that “within a couple of weeks, regional hospitals will likely become overwhelmed”.
Gitterle warns, “ER’s south of here are becoming overwhelmed — and I mean that — already. It is coming in waves, but the waves are getting bigger.”
The doctor states that the severity of the situation has already crossed the threshold of the definition of a WHO phase 6 pandemic. “This has not happened in any of our lifetimes so far. We are in uncharted territory,” he writes.
Gitterle claims that President Obama is being advised to declare a national emergency and that this could happen within the next 48 hours.
“This may not happen, but if it doesn’t, I will be surprised. When this happens, all public gathering will be cancelled for 10 days minimum,” writes the doctor.
Gitterle advises people to avoid all public gatherings, especially those held indoors, to avoid going to their ER if they feel ill, and to take the nutritional supplements N-Acetyl-Cysteine and Oscillococinum. He recommends Relenza as a more powerful drug than Tamiflu but warns that supplies of both drugs are running out fast.
The doctor states that swine flu is infectious for about two days prior to symptom onset and that the virus can spread for more than seven days after symptom onset. The symptoms are the same as normal flu, although it has been discovered that swine flu causes a distinctive “hoarseness” in many victims.
“Since it is such a novel (new) virus, there is no “herd immunity,” so the “attack rate” is very high. This is the percentage of people who come down with a virus if exposed. Almost everyone who is exposed to this virus will become infected, though not all will be symptomatic. That is much higher than seasonal flu, which averages 10-15%. The “clinical attack rate” estimation from CDC and WHO may be around 40-50%. This is the number of people who show symptoms. This is a huge number. It is hard to convey the seriousness of this to those outside of the medical fields,” he writes.

i would tend to agree with you. my feeling is that this is a giant scare tactic to get as many people as possible to get the vaccine when they announce it which is where they will infect everyone who comes in. anyone see the law and order clip that was on here yesterday? if you don’t get vaccinated you’re possibly a future murderer. it is also a nice way to take people’s minds off the torture memos and economy which have been generating anger towards government and now this comes and everyone is feeling like they need government to keep them safe. masters of diversion and everything else under the sun.

This is a classic ‘PROBLEM, REACTION, SOLUTION PLOY’
The N.W.O. create the problem and offer a solution in answer to satisfy our reaction.
Though many will welcome it when it is anounced, they won’t like the solution after it is dealt to them. We must keep alert to the plot that is unfolding.
I think the true death count is being with held, so larger numbers can be announced in blocks involving many hundreds at once, to keep the fear level high and force a panic situation. According to a good friend of mine (hospital admin), Tamiflu stocks have been run down over last month and not restocked to the usual quantity as they should normally have been at this time of year.
I wonder if this is to make way for the BAXTER VACCINE……..or worse…….

You dont seem to understand how flu works. By the time you start having death rates in the thousands you already have millions infected. This thing takes 3 weeks to kill and 2 weeks to gestate. You will not see the true death rates of this thing for 60-90 days when we get full exposure and spread.

Regular Influenza has a .2% morality rate. So if 1000 people get infected, 2 die
This strain has a 5-10% mortality rate. So if 1000 people get infected, 100 die.
Its 50 times more lethal, more infectious and just like the flu will hit us all year long.
People have some natural immunity to the standard yearly flu strain given past exposures and vaccinations. People have no immunity to the Mexican flu (swine is racist now?). H1N1 is lethal and we will not see how bad it is for 60-90 days of exposure when it is already too late.
Thats why im shocked at the apathy and empty rhetoric coming out of some people.

In South Texas: I must concur. There is no reason we should see mass body counts at this point. This “new” virus has only been going 2-3 weeks at most, so naturally there is going to be fewer deaths…………….innitially. However, as the virus spreads, and more ppl become infected, the numbers WILL climb. The reason MY mind is so bothered by it is the fact that it is moving so quickly around the globe. IMHO it is man-made, government perpitrated, and designed to both scare and cull.
As another poster noted…….FEAR is a natural reaction to a life threatening situation. I in truth, do share with others, a certain amount of fear. The fear isn’t so much for myself, or even my family, as it is for humanity as a whole.

It is documented as early as 1920 that viruses and cancer are anerobic. But food grade hydrogen peroxide and ozone are cheap and not profitable.
The medical establishment can wave their magic wands and complicate this with bs about “good immune systems will actually prove fatal bla, bla ,bla…” but that doesn’t change the fact that oxygen and water is all that’s required.

That’a a good point, why is none of this being reported? In my office yesterday, we had a man go home who admitted he had all the symptoms of the flu and was exposed around the border area. It’s absurd that it takes days just to confirm anything. We still haven’t heard on our other employee yet, and he was actually in Mexico.

This report sounds like more shill fearmongering. Viruses cannot live in a body that maintains proper acid/alkaline PH. It is only when you destroy the balance (usually through acidic foods in Western society) that a virus can live. Instead of rushing to take medicines or vaccines that only spread the disease (purposely contaminated), get off the junk food and eat lots and lots of leafy green vegetables to boost your alkaline levels… or be a mindless VICTIM.

I was in downtown Toronto when SARS hit. I remember watching the “breaking news story” showing hundreds of people wearing masks on younge street. Funny that 20 mins. later, I drove up and down younge street and saw no one wearing any masks. Not one person.

Honestly, these reports (from the BBC…?? — isn’t that enough to stop & wonder?) that the situation is much worse than we are told and that the govts are covering up more deaths…all this sounds like the govt spinning more fear, giving THEIR OWN spin more credibility.
Think about it:
- the govt creates fear, that’s what they want (the shepherd?)
- the media helps out (the dog?)
- then the media accuses the govt of hiding info that would create more fear.
But this does not make sense because we already know and can clearly see that the govt IS CREATING FEAR. So why the hell would they hide anything that goes their way?

I dont know whats going on but the stupidity around here is terrifying.
School administrators are fighting with county health organizers to keep schools OPEN until presumptive positives are confirmed positives. It takes 72 hours for test results to come back and in that time some of the students are even being re-admitted to campus.
This is the week most students take the TAKS tests (state wide standardized tests) and its horrifying the amount of exposures that are being generated based on school administrator’s focusing on the numbers!
I want to take a moment to warn people. You are being lied to. This morning, they confirmed 5 cases (CDC confirmed) of “mild” swine flu in my area. Mild?! They started using rhetoric toned down to create a false calm and put people at ease. This is a horrible mistake. If one person has it, 5 people have it, it 5 people have it 25 people have it. If 25 people have it, 125 people have it. You get the point.
This will multiply exponentially until they get maximum exposure.
This might only have a 5% mortality rate but they do not seem to care about protecting the public. They are trying to get maximum exposure to test the spread models for when the “real” pandemic hits.
I think that is grossly irresponsible. We even had the news this morning telling the people that they dont need to wear masks and that masks were only for medical workers. They are trying not to create a panic while spreading this thing as much as possible.
If you dont believe me, start calling the hospitals and identifying yourself as a member of the press. Ask them HOW many people they have in quarantine and the numbers are alarming. They wont “confirm” cases for a week but according to the CDC website even the 5 cases down here in my area arent on the main map yet.
We are being lied to and PLEASE be careful.
They are not even telling people the proper procedures to wear masks (fitted) and disposing of them afterward. Yes people, once you leave a grocery store or other contaminated area THROW YOUR MASK AWAY. You are just going to re-expose yourself if you dont remove the virus from your proximity.

My girlfriend is an ER nurse in a Dallas hospital. She says the ER is flooded alright; every Mexican in town is rushing in to get screened/tested. And get some free health care while they’re there. The Mex’s are overwhelming the hospital resources but not because of the Pig flu.

MILFORD — The swine flu scare has put hog producers on the defensive. That’s partly because of the name, but also because of what may, or may not, be a geographic coincidence. It involves the parent company of Utah’s biggest hog farm and a similar farm they have in Mexico.
More than 1 million pigs a year are raised at Circle Four Farms and hauled to market outside of Utah. At a store a few miles away, folks don’t seem to mind what their neighbors do for a living.
“Nah, I’m not too worried about it. As far as I know, they clean up pretty good when they go in and when they come out,” said Mike Mielcarski, who works at the Minersville Texaco station.

Pork producers in Utah and across the nation want to change the name of the swine flu. Pork sales have plummeted even though there’s no evidence that eating pork, bacon or sausage can cause the illness.Circle Four’s parent company, Smithfield, has an industrial-size hog farm in Mexico, and it’s uncomfortably close to ‘ground zero’ for the epidemic. The first documented swine flu victim was a 4-year-old boy in a Mexican village just a few miles from the Smithfield farm.
Smithfield says routine testing of its pigs has not detected the virus, and the Mexican government backs up that claim.
At the start of Wednesday morning trading, a financial analyst downgraded Smithfield’s stock because of the controversy, but Wall Street didn’t agree. The stock price held up well through the day.
At the Utah hog farm, biological control is part of the daily rhythm. Hog barns are widely spaced and employees shower and change clothes going in and again when coming out.
There is an issue that could be a factor in future pandemics: a national shortage of large-animal veterinarians. The company acknowledged to KSL News that Circle Four has only one vet on staff, responsible for up to 750,000 animals and for monitoring any diseases.
In a recent report, the American Veterinary Medical Association said: “While our nation’s food supply is one of the safest in the world, it is at risk because fewer veterinary school graduates are pursuing a career in food-animal veterinary medicine.”
Still, Smithfield says routine testing at all its facilities has not shown any flu virus. Matt Burnette used to work at Circle Four and thinks it’s very safe.
“I think so. I think they’re very concerned about biosecurity. It’s very important to them,” Burnette said. “It just works both ways, really. They want to keep their pigs just as safe as we want to keep ourselves.”
Just to be clear, the World Health Organization says there is no evidence the swine flu virus has infected hogs. And you can eat pork; the illness isn’t transmitted that way. However, the WHO did refuse the pork industry demand to change the name. It’s still, officially, the swine flu.

CAFO’s suck for all involved our US universities have documented the health and environmental problems associated with them. As for Smithfield they are interested in their profits and only their profits that is why they have moved many operation out ot the US. Mexico has no regulatory board to oversee operation like this-what little oversight the authorities have is bought off at a discounted rate like everything their social nightmare of a government consists of-massive corruption bought by the wealthy.

What follows is a series of postings I have made yesterday on a newspaper forum. I am dead serious and truthful in these postings. I am from Mexico and I am trying to warn people around the globe to this pandemic. I post these in the hope its readers can prepare and understand what is really going on. We are not being told the truth about the severity of this pandemic. Yet we can decipher the govt’s actions through common sense. Stay safe everyone. This is going to get nasty….
Has anyone actually seen an interview with a person once infected but since recovered? Nobody in Mexico has, and we have yet to see their families either. In Mexico, we have learned to add a zero at the end of government figures because the govt drops it. In the US, I suspect, ignorance is being kept high to avoid mass panic and chaos. Remember, in times of national emergency, like nine one one, mass media becomes a vessel of government and does and says exactly what government wants. This is an unwritten rule. The truth is that this pandemic is the Big One scientists have been expecting. When the govt of Mex. shuts down Catholic Sunday Mass and Churches in a grossly religious culture, you know there is a major, major problem. Whether the bug is engineered or not, it is real. And it is here.
The Mexican government is manipulating the numbers in a very, very big way. 2000 infected and 150 dead? Bullcrap. What a joke. I am from Mexico and the entire country is infected, more and more each day. American, Brit, Canadian tourists went to resorts, not Mexico City, and are returning infected. What does that tell you? Deaths in Mexico are now in most states.
Mexico City and its surrounding areas have 25 million people. Infections and deaths are very high. Doctors are protesting, many not showing up at hospitals b/c masks, medication are not working. The city is on the verge of panic more each passing day. We can see it devolve, the people are on the brink. Government measures say one thing, media filters report only few deaths. Actions speak louder than words.
Doctors outside the government filters say there are hundreds dead or dying and the anti-virals are not working. They are hiding the dead, changing the death certificates to alter the cause of death. The infected are too numerous to count. Draconian measures have been enacted, the entire city is pretty much closed. The government can quarantine anyone, can enter any and all homes, can close roads and cities.
All schools from the entire country are closed. What does that tell you? That the entire city and country stops for only 2000 infected? Yeah, right. Governments are lying and keeping the figures purposefully low to contain panic and chaos. The same is being done, and will be done in the US.
The truth is the Mexican people are dying in large numbers, with many infections, and a death rate of over 6 percent. The Spanish flu had a death rate of 2 percent. You can do the calculations. What we are seeing in Mexico will soon be in the US. One or two weeks. Be prepared, a worldwide pandemic is in its infancy. Take care.

As for John C, if I am making stuff up, then why have all 35,000 restaurants in DF been ordered to not serve anyone except for take out? Why have they shut down the judiciary, all sporting events, public gatherings, concerts, gyms, etc? For a few thousand infections? Do you think we are that stupid? Your disinfo does not work here.
What about the draconian laws allowing the govt to quarantine anyone, to go into any home or business, to close any road or city? Is that made up because I think a lot of news organizations didn’t make that up. How about closing all schools, since this past Monday and Tuesday? Not just in DF, but throughout the nation. How about reports that almost every state in the republic has infections, with growing death rates? You really think all people are as gullible to think that in a city of 25 million there are only 2,000 infections? Please, the flu itself infects half the population every year, and that is a flu our bodies are familiar with.
As for the doctors, did these relatives of yours tell you about the demonstrations by other doctors and nurses, complaining of lack of protection and of them refusing to show up because they see how dangerous the virus is?
This is all simple statistics… Not everyone will get the flu, most will get a simple flu, 4-6 percent will die. Infections will multiply exponentially and anyone who doubts this truth has no knowledge of statistics or of how viruses work.
I suspect, too, that this virus will peak in two months and then hibernate, returning with greater vengeance during its power season, flu season in winter. For those in denial, I suggest reading up on the Spanish flu of close to a century ago.
Believe me, what is going on in Mexico is real and what the govt’s of Mex. and the US are doing is standard operating procedure in times of pandemic, lying to not cause panic and chaos.

For anyone taking this pandemic seriously… Just spoke to one of my sources in DF. He visited Los Angeles Pedregal, a very good hospital in DF. He tells me that the hospital has three full floors of IC, and that all, repeat all beds are full of swine flu patients in serious condition. He tells me doctors there report more than 70 deaths just in that one hospital, one of many dozens throughout DF. This is the reality of what is going on in Mexico.
Also, the government has declared all non-essential government and private offices closed from May One to May Five.

Sorry, I cannot disagree more with Mexico Witness… maybe he is a guy from the bureau, or from the Government. I assure you that on May 6th, we will have a government hero… who saved us all… The very reason nobody here have seen an interview with someone who recovered is because there is not all the sick people they say, nor the casualties they say. This is not the big one. Maybe the real thing will come this Fall. They are testing people response. They are preparing everything to bring martial law, and control from the outside (UN, WHO, etc.). Store a months worth of food, water and toilet paper, get a bunch of N100 or N95 masks and alcohol based antiseptic handgel. Everytime you enter your house, wash your hands with the handgel. Don’t pick your nose or touch your eyes without having first washed your hands with the gel.
If the flu hits your area, limit exposure and use the masks if you have to go out. Remember, masks are only one-time use for 5-8 hours (depends on the manufacturer), and make sure you properly dispose of the masks as they may still have the flu virus inside the filter.
This way, you’ll be prepared and there’s no reason to panic.
PS! If offered a vaccine, concider this: it usually takes 6 months to develop a effective vaccine. Vaccines that are put out fast for new viruses may be contaminated. Viruses are among the fastest changing microbes, so the vaccine may not be effective.

Just got of the phone with someone I know in Waco,TX and their community/businesses are taking precautions. The elementary schools are sending home instructions on voluntary quarantines, symptom checks and MD clearances before children can return to school. Businesses are providing hand sanitizers and producing memos on proper hand washing etc.
Thought you guys would like to know.

Funny….I am registered for a triathlon in New Braunfels at the Ski Ranch, which is this Sunday, May3…..I called to see if they were still going to have it because schools, parks, baseball games, ect….are canceled or closed and the response was, we have support from the Comal counties Sherrif’s office and the Ski ranch so we are still having it….That’s right, I forgot the sherrif can protect us from this swine flu with his taser…..

I am curious if this influenza virus has the ability to replicate in lung tissue. Most influenza strains can only replicate in the upper respiratory track, but virulent strains( such as the 1918 influenza stain) have the ability to replicate in lung tissue as well. The ability to replicate in lung tissue is very rare, but makes the influenza virus much more dangerous. The actions officials are taking seems to me to go well beyond the warnings they are stating, what do they know they are not telling us?

Swine flu has a very HIGH human to human transmission rate
If the transmission rate is 1% and the kill rate is 50% then out of 1000 people exposed, 10 people get it, 5 people die.
If the transmission rate is 35% and the kill rate is 10% then out of 1000 people exposed, 350 get it, 35 people die.

This is really scary stuff, the school down the street from me closed because several kids have the virus. I am in Fair Oaks Ca.
