During this year’s meeting, feds assaulted, Tasered and arrested five members of the group for the crime of having an “unregistered gathering”.

People have the right to assemble, but they won’t because they don’t WANT to. Americans HATE freedom, which is why they will so easily give it up. Americans don’t want change unless they can personally get something out of it for themselves.

Of Course you have the right to assemble, but only with government permission. Just like they permit us to have licenses when we have the freedom of travel, or they permit us to have firearms when we have the right to bare arms, hell you can’t even build a shed or make modifications to your home without permission from the government. These are the type of laws people should just start disobeying in mass.

What I heard from the search and rescue people of Sublette County was that the Rainbows had surrounded some cops that were searching for a lost boy, then started throwing rocks at them.

Give me a break, the Supreme Court already ruled that communities CAN pass laws regarding permits and use. Pay for the damn permit already, or are you better then all the other groups who pay their permit fees?

tammi- our right to peacably assemble is protected. no permission is necessary. anyone who has taken an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution and Bill of Rights and took any unlawful action against assemblers should have criminal compaints filed against them. maybe you should read the Bill of Rights. oh, by the way, we live in a republic under common law and our rights can not be voted away or infringed upon by the judicial branch.
