I’m all for being sensitive to people’s feelings and not hurting others. But imposing
political correctness through the threat of law for cyber-bullying etc. be it with fines, jail
time or whatever because someone’s feelings were hurt is simply preposterous. There are all
ready libel and slander laws on the books to protect people and their reputations. We don’t need a cyber-bullying law to impinge on fringe speech.
Sophocles the ancient Greek playwright said, “Free men have free tongues.””
Demosthenes, the ancient Greek orator warned citizens to be weary of any attempt
to subvert a citizen’s right to justice, “robbing us of our liberties and of our
right of free speech.”
When The ancient Greek Cynic Diogenes was asked what the MOST BEAUTIFUL
THING in the world was, he answered, “freedom of speech”.
Aristophanes, another ancient Greek playwright, went after a political leader of the time
named Cleon through his play, BABYLONIANS. Cleon hauled Aristophanes before the
Council of Athens but the council did nothing to Aristophanes and sent him home.
Aristophanes continued denouncing Cleon and bragging about it to boot.
In his play the Acharnians, Aristophanes wrote, “Let Cleon hatch his plots and build his
traps against me to his utmost, for Good and Right will be my allies, and never will I be
caught behaving toward the city as he does, a coward and a punk-arse.”
What if Aristophanes had been thrown in jail or ostracized from Athens for his
comments against Cleon? What would have happened to Athens; to our Western heritage?
As for the cyber-bullying act. It would go a long way in curbing legitimate criticism of
government. Is that what we want? Do we want to regress from the ideas of the ancient
Greeks and America’s founding fathers who echoed them? Or do we keep freedom of
speech – something that has served humanity well for thousands of years.
As for hate laws. This issue had cropped up in the late 1990’s and it seems to be
rearing it’s head again. Sure, hateful acts against minorities and others is wrong. But
crime is crime. If a gay person is unjustly harmed and a straight person is unjustly
harmed, it’s obvious that each of them were harmed by someone who hated them. Why
are hateful actions against a gay person or a person of color worst than hatred against
a straight person who is Caucasian? Each action is equally wrong. To impose such
laws on society is a subtle form of reverse discrimination and as if to say that a minority
person’s life is more valuable than a non-minority person’s life. How about valuing all
human life equally and making fair laws that protect and benefit all Americans equally?
The potential for abuse with cyber-bullying and hate laws is stupendous.

This was one of the best shows ever! I loved every guest, caller and topic. Great coverage and inspiring developments. udonews.com is going to be huge, especially now that utube has shown their true colors over the Alex Jones Channel, my favorite place for new people.
I recommend sending a copy of this to your friends, especially those that love celebs like Jesse Ventura. I believe Alex is becoming a master of his trade in film and radio, also he is an excellent debater and truth advocate on the media. Gov. Ventura is in my a opinion a master of media debate and advocacy. Watching his interviews again. I believe he is a perfect example on how to get the truth out to a hostile reception.
Gov. Ventura was stingily accurate, even tempered in the face of insults and won the day. I believe his interviews should be a textbook example for new truth advocates. Also I believe he is a true patriot and loves his country, hating what they are doing to it. Here in Australia, I wish we had people with half of what he and Alex have got in spades: Guts.
Alex was terrific, he had a really good flow today, Mr Darrel Rundus was an excellent communicator and truth advocate, as a christian I really liked how he gets the message out, whatever they answer he says ‘hey then you need this!’ I’m going to try this here in Brisbane, it’s so simple, I think that’s why he’s a great marketer and church leader.

Jesse Ventura is such a lovable fellow. He at first comes off like a bit of a meat head, but that’s just him gaining the momentum that makes him such a formidable opponent.

Why be angry and live in FEAR? All we have to do is claim our sovereignty, under common law none of the 60 million statutes and acts applies to us. There is only 1 law “have I injured another man” and if you have you have to answer to it. The Banksters have taken over America and since 1938 only Admirlty law is practiced in court as evidenced by the gold-fringed flag flying therein. Under this Law of Contracts you have given over your sovereignty by submitting (submission) applications (begging) for a marriage license, birth certificate, drivers license,car registration, etc. When you get a notice from your bank or a traffic ticket or any court document or license look at them. Your name is all in capital letters (signifying a corporation). That isn’t you. Seek information on the free man or sovereignty movement and become the governing power as we were intended to be.
