There are those who say that the most we can do is provide equality of opportunity; that being done, the fact that some are naturally more gifted than others means some people are destined to rise above the pack. I do not disagree that men are created inherently unequal, but the question is how does that translate into a right to exorbitant material acquisition. How do a few I.Q. points equal a disparity of wealth that in some instances rises into the billions?

I'd say the only area that such "blessed" people truly excel in is avarice, and thereby they prove themselves not to be superior but inferior to the rest.

Let him who is greatest among you be your servant.

The wealthy and powerful can commit the most atrocious of crimes (thousands dead, millions stolen) and they walk away scot-free. The things everyday people get locked up or fined for are absolutely insignificant compared to what THEY do as a daily routine. And why is it this way? Because "the state" belongs to THEM. The state is THEIR tool, the weapon they use to protect and perpetuate their privileged position as our slavemasters.

And who are THEY? THEY are not the state. THEY are the controllers, the wielders, of the state. And how is it that THEY have come to exert this control? It is because THEY have taken possession of those things that are the very essence and foundation of human existence. They steal from US everything we need to sustain our lives and then they demand our servitude in exchange for the crumbs that fall from the abundance of wealth that OUR SWEAT has produced. In an effort to confuse us THEY call this theft "private property" and THEY call the activity of their theft "the free market".

They are the controllers, and here in the U.S. they take the form of the capitalists. In the past they were known as monarchs and aristocrats. The sate AND its wielders must die together, anyone who says otherwise is either deceived themselves or is trying to deceive others.

Real democracy now! Power to the people!

Now prepare for this thread to freeze and for the article to come down soon after.

This article points out that "This is the method of one-sided confiscation, of theft of the property of others. This is the method which Oppenheimer termed “the political means” to wealth"

It's interesting: the "political" means to wealth. Henry Adams referred to "politics" (political) as the organization of hatreds. Others will swear that everything is "political" Shall we consider all politics to be hatred?

Just politics as usual you say?

In case you have not noticed, POLITICS AS USUAL is the driving force behind a significant portion of much of the monkey business currently being played out in most of the areas of life. Henry Adams once referred to politics as the organization of hatreds, while others will insist: everything is political! A derivative of the word POLITICS is POLICY. Going back about 500-600 years, we find Italian, Jewish and other merchants buying protection for cargoes in the Mediterranean through a POLIZZA which is Anglicized as POLICY (ALSO: POLIZZA means POLICE in Italian!). This is commercialization of protection sanctioned by the state and it really leads to a kind of tribute and since not all merchants were able to afford it and willing to buy it, it also reduces competition. This is a restriction of trade and would be prosecuted under the Sherman anti-Trust Act (organized crime!) Besides regular tribute, the mafia/(LLOYDS of LONDON?) also saw their golden opportunity to expand its influence. It seems clear that the corporate/government takeover and mafia infiltration of the insurance industry (protection?) is the New World Order (sic) your local global police force. (Also, be sure to explore other sections of this article in which we make a reference to the evolving world disorder and be sure to request a copy of the more extensive article where the Hellywood and NYPD regime is partially though surrealistically exposed as the source of most of the confusion! Condemnation follows because those have the power to make a significant difference in how things work yet they continue to allow the show to be run into the ground!)

I sincerely hope that this comment is not considered to be impertinent.

From the bewilderness- thanks for coming!

I didn't read all of this essay....but the state is to promote the general welfare...not just one segment of society...but the GENERAL welfare.....and protect the general welfare...........our legislative branch is not passing laws that take care of these basic fundamental societal necessities. We are at war in a foreign country in the name of terrorism (aka WMD, oil...taliban, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan alquada )... and they senate and reps just passed a 700 billion dollar bailout of scumbags.....who have taken this country down financially.......I see a slow painful death of this economy......and our leaders are going to turn us over to the NWO.........................that is not for the general welfare but for the elitists..........like paul in oregon says.....it is our responsibility...

The state needs to go asap. The people must become the government. Not nearly so hard as some would have you believe.

I would recommend to anyone who hasn't read it to get a copy of Albert Jay Nock's 'Our Enemy the State' which is a detailed expansion of the above address. We the People need to always remember that the State is not our friend and needs to be watched and kept in check. That is OUR responsibility.
