I saw this laughably biased piece of BBC propaganda the other day and while I was angered at some parts of it, at other bits I just had to laugh out loud.
I mean for a start, you have to ask yourself: I thought their previous ‘Conspiracy Files’ programme was supposed to have ‘debunked’ all the ‘conspiracy theories’ in the first place, so it’s a bit funny that they felt the need to make a second programme, wouldn’t you say?! I thought the BBC was supposed to have done the job already, isn’t that right BBC?
And while I’m sure in some people’s minds this programme has further cemented their view that ‘it wasn’t a inside job’, I have been reading comment boards since the programme aired and the encouraging thing is a LOT of people still aren’t convinced by it (just see Mike Rudin’s blog as one example!)
(Article continues below)
But what did make me laugh out loud was the BBC’s pathetic ‘explanation’ as to how they managed to report the collapse of WTC7 before it happened. Apparently as we know the tapes got, ahem, lost… and in the ‘confusion’ of the day they simply ‘made a mistake’ and reported the physically impossible and unprecedented collapse 100% accurately purely by coincidence.
But what happened to the tapes? Yes, that’s right they had been accidentally placed in the — 2002 — section!! AHHHH… it all makes sense now. Easy mistake to make isn’t it!!! I mean, when was the event again… Sept 11, two thousand and….. one? two? three? One of those, anyway. I mean it’s not like it was a particularly historic event or anything. I struggle to think how the female commentator was actually able to say all of this with a straight face.
I was initially encouraged when they allowed Steven Jones and Richard Gage to make some pertinent points briefly and it appeared for a short time that this may possibly turn out to be a balanced documentary after all… until the end of course when the usual ‘it might LOOK like an inside job, but don’t worry it wasn’t because our hand-picked experts say so’ angle typically employed by the BBC was used.
The proponents of the official version were all shown in suit and tie with letters after their names, robotically parrotting the official narrative coherently while a clip of Dylan Avery is shown saying ‘I don’t fucking care how many years experience he has, he’s wrong’ like a hormonal teenager (I’m sure they had hours of footage of Avery they could have chosen from, but for some reason decided to use that part. Hmm…)
Then of course the tiresome ‘Truthers are terrorizing the victims of 9-11/journalists/Jane Standley/everyone else in the world and are causing untold suffering’ angle was trotted out once again. Plus they didn’t let Alex Jones or any of the most credible speakers in the 9/11 movement get a chance to even say anything at all, although hardly a surprise there.
But to all those in the 9/11 truth movement.. don’t let hit pieces like this worry you too much, the very fact that they keep having to put out programmes like this proves that a) we are having an effect… b) they are being forced to address the issues and as such are growing ever more desperate to shut the lid on public opinion on this matter. c) most ‘thinking’ people should clearly be able to see the blatant bias once again employed here anyway.
I sat watching it with my Nan and she had never even heard of Building 7 before.. as, I suspect, many other people hadn’t either. So this might just have the reverse effect than the BBC had wished and may educate people that there IS more to 9/11 than they already know. From there they may be inspired to go research it on the net with an open mind, and…. it just wake a few more people up! Quite the opposite effect the producers were hoping for I’m sure.
One thing is for sure, the BBC certainly hasn’t ’solved the final mystery of 9/11′ and this is far from over..

Very well said sir

It’s on again as I type (2.30am, Wednesday, 9th July). This is the fourth time I’ve seen it on terrestrial BBC since Sunday evening. Looks as though they want as many people as possible to see it.
Think they’ve been rattled?

Although i don’t find the death of innocent people remotely funny, the bit that made me laugh out loud was when they credited the report investigator who searched the rubble for signs of explosives with having worked on the Waco and Oklahoma City sites as if that somehow gave him more credibility?

I’m so glad that I read infowars.com just about every day, that way I know not to watch the BBC’s latest propaganda campaign, in the hope of being educated. They’re only discrediting themselves. MI6 will be very disappointed to know that their program didn’t make the grade. Do they think we have no brains or something?
Oh, oh! I have a conspiracy! Maybe they DELIBERATELY made a really sucky documentary, so that we’d waste our time pointing out all the flaws and biased information in it? Damn, they’ve tricked us!
Forget it. Keep burning DVDs and printing flyers and handing them out. Also watch 9/11 Chronicles if you haven’t already.

The BBC has been exposed for what it is. Just another controlled propaganda outlet. Reporting the fall of WTC builing 7 over 20 minutes before it actually happened. Their first 9/11 documentary has been thoroughly debunked. Why they are coming back for more, who knows? How sad.
Hey Brits, how about getting your media back from the fascists. And if you do, maybe you can tell us Americans how to do the same.

This is great news for us. This propaganda is so feeble and transparent that it was clearly produced out of desperation. I had to laugh when I read about it because even if most of the people that view this believe its true, we still win because it gets people talking and thinking about the issue.
It’s laughable in the first place to think that a brief tv program could cover even just the key points of the evidence, much less debunk them all.
This is just a big pat on the back for the movement. Keep up the good work!
Note to Self: When planning a major conspiracy, make sure to remind co-conspirators not to reveal the conspiracy on national television.

By the way, anyone in England should write to the producer and tell him that MI6 would be disappointed and that we’re not stupid. I wrote a letter to a Rear Admiral once. It’s always fun to let them know we’re onto them isn’t it?

I suppose we shouldn’t be too hard on the BBC. The last time they tried to report the truth, over David Kelly’s murder, their top management was purged in a night of the media long knives, and pliable little establishment playthings like Mark Thompson were installed.
They should be careful though, their remit is public service broadcasting, not government propaganda. If they insist on doing this we might start insisting they fund themselves. A mass refusal to pay their license would swiftly cause them all manner of financial headaches. Then where would their lavish expense accounts meals and holidays come from.

All I want to know is, what the HELL is going ON in England??!! Are they all under mind control or WHAT??!! I used to want to visit that country…not anymore. We’ve got our own fascism to deal with! I want to go hang out in Cuba! Good food, 24/7 on the music, organically grown gardens, great fishing in the interior, free medical….it goes on and on. DOWN WITH THE ELITISTS!!!

This “mockumentary” is a sheer display of desperation from BBC.

I am British, the BBC used to be the cornerstone of information in this Green and pleasent land. But sadly the media in Blighty is as messy as yours in the US. The mind control comment from Heidi could be true, what angers me is we the people pay for it to be done to us!
I hope you lot over the pond have got your wire cutters ready, thoughs strange looking camps look pretty scary.
Good luck, you septic tanks! Just remember how your country was created. Yee Haa! Go get ‘em! Take your Country back!

I’m on some kind of a roll here this morning…right before watching the BBC piece online I had just finished reading this in Carlos Amantea’s notes from a trip to India (in the Spring 1985 Fessenden Review):
What a curse, I think. For India, for America, for the world. The Queen Victorian Nanny—-with all those directives on what people should and shouldn’t do, what they should and shouldn’t think. The disease: Control, Aplomb, Right-and-Wrong. A curse on the whole world—-the “civilizing” of the world, giving ulcers to the passionate, migraines to the romantics, stiff upper lips to the dolts, aching backs to the lusty. The infection that still has us. A system born of Puritan England, germs taken to the far world by carriers called Stanley and Livingston, Rhodes and Captain Pigot. Emmisaries of infection from the hot-house overstuffed living rooms occupied by black-dress, corseted and overstuffed nostril-flaring women. A tightness wrapped like a iron band about the ease of Malaysia, the music of Bermuda, the passion of Nigeria, the gentleness of Madras, the lust of the Americas.
Obviously, BBC’s choice of narrator was an attempt to keep the children in line.

The investment made by those who control the beeb have obvious concerns over the rising skepticism amongst UK citizens. There problem, is that it it is increasingly difficult to support a lie.
The piece was an obvious propaganda piece to those aware of the more likely truth. However, for those out there, they are already subdued by the soaps, virtual reality and talent shows and although many know that something is badly wrong, they are afraid of looking into the oracle. Add to that, the ever increasing difficulties of the cash flow crisis, the fear of teenagers with knives, etc., etc., and you have them cowaring in their homes and wishing it would all go away.
For me, more than ever, it is tiem to reach out into our local communities and provide support, grow food and educate. We know the answers, but they all involve gainign common support that will be sufficient to show the demigods that they are no longer welcome.
