Everyone is appropriately outraged that the former head of the CIA unit which hunted Bin Laden for almost a decade – Michael Scheur – told Glenn Beck:
The only chance we have as a country right now is for Osama bin Laden to deploy and detonate a major weapon in the United States
But people aren’t putting this in context. In fact, many Neocons have also stated a desperate yearning for another attack on America (and see this).
But there is another story here as well.
Remember:
- The CIA commander in charge of the capture of Bin Laden during the invasion of Afghanistan said that the U.S. let Bin Laden escape from Afghanistan
- A retired Colonel and Fox News military analyst said:
“We know, with a 70 percent level of certainty — which is huge in the world of intelligence — that in August of 2007, bin Laden was in a convoy headed south from Tora Bora. We had his butt, on camera, on satellite. We were listening to his conversations. We had the world’s best hunters/killers — Seal Team 6 — nearby. We had the world class Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) coordinating with the CIA and other agencies. We had unmanned drones overhead with missiles on their wings; we had the best Air Force on the planet, begging to drop one on the terrorist. We had him in our sights; we had done it ….Unbelievably, and in my opinion, criminally, we did not kill Usama bin Laden.”
- French soldiers insist that they easily could have captured or killed Bin Laden, but that the American commanders stopped them
In other words – as demonstrated above – the U.S. did not really try to capture Bin Laden.

And remember that the Congressional Joint Inquiry into 9/11 discovered that an FBI informant had hosted and rented a room to two hijackers in 2000 and that, when the Inquiry sought to interview the informant, the FBI refused outright, and then hid him in an unknown location, and that a high-level FBI official stated these blocking maneuvers were undertaken under orders from the White House (confirmed here by the Co-Chair of the Joint Inquiry and former Head of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Bob Graham; and see this Newsweek article).
And that a key Al Qaeda trainer actually worked with the Green Berets and the CIA and was an FBI informant.
And that the CIA may have helped most of the 9/11 hijackers get their visas to the U.S.
And that CIA agents allegedly met with Bin Laden two months before 9/11, when he was already supposedly wanted for the bombing of the U.S.S. Cole, and when it was obvious to the intelligence services that he was supposedly planning 9/11.
Given that the government shielded top Al Qaeda members, and give that one of the top guys responsible for capturing Bin Laden now wishes OBL would attack America using weapons of mass destruction, the question must be asked whether people within the U.S. government wanted Bin Laden to attack the U.S. prior to 9/11.
This is an especially interesting question since a delay of a couple of minutes would have allowed the 9/11 attacks to succeed.

Our government is telling us that he has kidney disease; and our government loves us and would never lie to us, which may have been a ruse to get him into a hospital so his CIA handlers could meet with him under the guise of medical care. I totally believe this. I have a friend who’s son was recruited by the govt. His son had flunked out of college and was living at home. He had no ambition. He smoked pot. He was befriended by a govt. agentwho talked him into setting up a business in the drug trade..The whole deal was financed by the govt. After it got started they busted him and he got 10 years in jail. It was a big story on the news and the govt. got a statistic for their so called “War on Drugs”. Few people remember that the Bush administration stole a nuclear weapon from the US Air Force. The plane that took off from Minot AFB was loaded with 6 nuclear warheads. It then proceeded to disappear from radar for more than 2 hours over the western united states and finally landed in Louisiana with only 5 nuclear warheads on it. Since then at least 6 airman connected to this mission are dead from suspicious circumstances. I am really surprised that Alex does not hound this issue every day. There is no doubt that they intend to use this stolen weapon to attack America again.

Obvious artificially induced provocation forced upon the populous is inevitable. Mr. Scheuer’s comments are nothing new… If this is some kind of dubious plot or just another threat by the elite – then so be it. It’s akin to a tempter tantrum from a small child. It embodies the thinking of all who despise freedom, liberty, and creativity. What will be the point anyway? Eventually, the elites will find the more they press and try to suppress… The more equal and opposite of a reaction they will obtain.
Millions more will wake up from their drunken slumber to finally smell reality.
The game is already up for elites or however you want to define them… Though it’s not going to be pretty, we will prevail and win this fight without question.

I know Michael Scheuer personally. Calling him a neocon is one of the most moronic statements of all time. Do some research. He is a huge admirer of Ron Paul. I understand it is the mission of this website to vilify anyone and everyone associated with the CIA, but you need to recognize same team when it’s out there. His comments are largely misunderstood. He makes statements to generate controversy, and in turn, create dialogue.

Frankly, my opinion is that they realized the current economic system couldn’t last. They also realized that when it fell apart, the American people were highly likely to become restive. In order to maintain their hold on power, they set several things in motion for the purpose of changing our society into one that was quite a bit more authoritarian. They have made great strides in this. Whether or not this is actually for the best overall is debatable. It is, however, for the best for them.
Chaos is harmful. Excessive order is harmful too. I don’t know what the lesser evil is here.

The U.S military is doing drills on American soil with Australia, Mexico, Canada, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand around July 28th. That’s right, foreign troops will be on our soil. The saddest part is they will be practicing martial law drills. We recall that in July of 2001 the military did drills in preparation for planes hitting skyscrapers and their official report had Bin Laden on the cover. Perhaps this military drill could provide insight into the future or to the kind of attack the neocons are begging for. They literally yearn for their countryman to die. Sick bastards.
