The Constitution Dies – To Thunderous Applause

Gee, you folks who thought Obama was the be-all and end-all to “solve” violations of The Constitution under President Bush:
A pair of bills introduced in the U.S. Senate would grant the White House sweeping new powers to access private online data, regulate the cybersecurity industry and even shut down Internet traffic during a declared “cyber emergency.”
Senate bills No. 773 and 778, introduced by Sen. Jay Rockefeller, D-W.V., are both part of what’s being called the Cybersecurity Act of 2009, which would create a new Office of the National Cybersecurity Advisor, reportable directly to the president and charged with defending the country from cyber attack.
This sounds reasonable, at first blush.
But I’ve read the actual draft bill that allegedly was proffered, and while most of the time what is published on WND is about as diametrically opposed politically to my views, this isn’t one of those times.
On page 21 and 22 it is established not only certification of “security professionals” in the computer field but mandatory licensing for anyone performing compute security services not only to the government but also to any “critical infrastructure system or network.”
This would immediately make part of what I do – selling spam-interdiction software to state and local public safety organizations such as police departments – unlawful unless I went through whatever “process” the government sets forth.
Got that? As a guy who has been writing spam filtering software for more than a decade, as the guy who first offered it to his ISP customers back in the 1990s as part of our service to every user, what I did in the 1990s would be made illegal (since we had literally thousands of accounts billed to a government agency of one form or another) and my provision and support of that software (”Spamblock-Sys”) would be unlawful going forward unless I submitted to whatever licensing criteria the government set forth in the future.
Might I be willing to submit to that? Maybe. Will it dramatically increase the cost of that software? Absolutely. Who’s going to pay for it? You are, in higher taxes.
Second, page 40 has some truly frightening implications, among them granting The Department of Commerce plenary authority to invade networks and access the data therein irrespective of Constitutional or legal restrictions against that action.
Finally, there is a provision within this draft allowing The President to order disconnection of any “critically important” infrastructure – but it does not define what that is, once again, granting effective plenary authority to The President to silence communications irrespective of Constitutional protections regarding Free Speech.
First Amendment?
What First Amendment?
The First Amendment is first for a reason – without Freedom of The Press, which happens to fundamentally include the right to freely communicate between ourselves, there is no means by which corruption and evil can be effectively exposed.
The Second Amendment is second for a reason – if The First Amendment falls, you’re going to need The Second Amendment, and fast.
I wonder if we’ll defend the Second Amendment as citizens of The United States if we won’t defend The First!

Please read my analysis. If this bill passes and they take control of DNS, it will allow fine-grained censorship of alternative media. They will shut down any blog or site they want, while keeping the commerce and controlled media sites available.

We have seen the enemy and it is us. Yup, the American people have nobody to blame but themselves for what has happened to our once grand experiment in “self-governance”. The bad guys didn’t have to sneak through the wire at night, no, they just walked right up in broad daylight and set up camp in my freakin’ front yard. I think back on all the guys who bled and died for this nation and I get sick to my stomach. Anyone who still believes the ideals and principles embodied in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of these united states matter anymore, better check your six O’clock. The real question you must answer right now is this: what are you prepared to do about it? I am tired of hearing people whine about this crap. Give me a few good men, yeah even some Marines (no offense intended to all you Devil Dogs out there), and let’s get with the mission at hand. It’s time to lead, follow, or get the hell out of the way. Nuff said.

I… don’t know. I must say, the less I think, the more I know, and the more I think I know, the less I am actually aware. This right here gives me pause, although I’m still in the same mental position I have been in for at least some time now.
The only action to be taken must be love based. All fear based and panic driven decisions will compile the amount of chaos already there. If we want to dissolve much of these problems, then lets get at it, and start making some love based decisions.
We start small to change the world.

They steal our hard earned taxes, and we fall back, they strip us of our rights to privacy, and we fall back, they systematically dismantle the Bill of Rights-shredding our Constitution, and we fall back. They invade our homes, our televisions, newsapers and radio with their propaganda, they wage full scale wars against our minds, and deny us our rights to protest and to spread the truth. They conduct false flag terror operations which kill thousands of Americans, and start wars which kill countless innocents through out the world, yet we fall back-unwilling to face the fact that we are in a fight for not only our liberty but our very lives. I’m not advocating violence, I do not want us to start a war in our streets. But when are we going to realize that they HAVE started a war, a war which they intend to fight to the bitter end. Our denying this conflict will only prolong the suffering, increase the number of innocent casualties, and allow the enemy to grow stronger. The time has come for serious organization, to begin to combat this enemy by organized spreading of the truth. We must burn cds, dvds, print flyers and we must stand on the corners, and march in the streets. We must peacefully assemble, in the thousands-of the likes that have not been seen since the days of MLK jr. We will protest in no protest zones, and peacefully non-comply with our tyrrants and their jack booted drones-the police. We will bear the burdens of injustice and hold fast against violent police, we will draw the line-here and no further, and when the enemy rises to crush us, they will feel the strength of the American spirit of liberty-a spirit they thought was dead, but was only sleeping, now we are awake. Now we must come together. Now we must organize and bring the truth to millions, to the newspapers, to the t.v and radio stations, we must bring our truth to the police, to the state and local government representatives, we must tell people that we are in the middle of a war, a war which we did not begin, but the first shots have already been fired. Will you stand by when your neighbors are carted off to detainment camps? Will you change your habbits when the children next door are federal spies? Will you submitt to total tyranny and willingly accept being a slave to NAZI/Soviet style masters? Will you give up your liberty to for the safety of our Big Brother? By God, give me liberty or give me death! And if it is death, then get ready for one hell of a fight!

Our rights are God-given rights. They are not ‘constitutional’ rights,.
Take some time and read the U.S. Constitution. You will see that it does
not grant any rights to anyone. Instead, the document limits the federal government.

I know this doesn’t matter, but senate bill 778 is actually about the HPV shot those sick fcks want every 6th grade girl in the U.S. to get. just though I’d point that out, nothing about internet theft, BUT, it does involve robbing everyone of their liberty’s
