Jason that is what I have been advocating to people. Take about $20 dollars each pay day and get some nickels. Does not cost you anything and will always hold its face value at the least.

Unemployment is much higher than 7%, they only count people getting a check. I your benefits have run out, you do not exist. In California it’s over 10% now. In the large cities it’s 15%+. The rest of the world is worse shape, they all depend on the US buying the goods they produce. The credit bubble has burst, game over.

So why aren’t any of you doing anything about it?
All I read from you morons is “the government is stupid”.
So do something.
I did.
I walked into my city councilman’s office and said “I’m ready to serve”.
Within a year’s time I now serve my city and I’m preparing a run at my State Senate.

But I suppose this probably what? Mkes me part of “them”?
Incidently, I’ve asked this of a lot of conspiracy theorists, much like you all, who exactly is “them” anyway?
Noone seems to know, but apparently “they’re” all powerful and all knowing.
Interesting.

The political thinker Machaveilli teaches us that if you’re in power, and you have to tick off someone it’s better to tick off the people. Because you won’t anger them all, and those that you do, are too weak and feeble to really do anything about it.

So why would I, someone who’s about to rely on public votes to get elected come to a message board and openly mock you?
Simple, you’re weak and feeble and in reality, have absolutely no bearing on the outcome of society.
I don’t need you to win anything, and in truth, aligning myself with the vast overwhelming majority that thinks you’re all nut jobs is the smarter move anyway.

You want to REALLY change something?

The article does NOT say we are in depression. It says thats it POSSIBLE for us to fall into a depression like the 1930’s but it DOUBTS it.

I’m sorry, but the article cited clearly does NOT say the U.S. is in depression. How could anyone who read that article reach such a conlcusion? The article also ends by suggesting the U.S. is UNLIKELY to experience any depression at all, as a result of the current crisis. While i do appreciate this website, there’s plenty of real news to cover without fabricating.
