The Nation’s Deathbed – A new Canadian Independent Documentary Film about the Security and Prosperity Agreement.

This Nation’s Deathbed exposes the SPP Summit and the protests of Montebello Quebec held in summer of 2007. The film offers the best explanation to date of, of what the Security and Prosperity Partnership Agreement actually is and what it’s grave implications on Canadian Sovereignty would be once fully implemented;

From binding and unfair contracts that would give license to American corporate interests over the annexation of natural resources such as water and lumber.

The merger of the 3 country’s military forces and rise of a police state.

The transformation of the economy and its currency.

The dismantling of health care.

The further erosion of democratic proceedings, checks and balances on government and corporations.

The privatization of Canadian infrastructure such as highways, energy, water, and agriculture.

In short the SPP amounts to the the allowance of private corporations to rule over deciding policies that will inevitably harm the quality of life that many simply take for granted, as corporations would be unaccountable to the well being of Canadian lives, and only interested in profit.

The film tells the story of a building resistance movement; one that began outside the Montebello resort to demonstrate and expose treason as it was committed. And it follows on into the continued protests held nation wide in cities across Canada. It is a movement that has promised that it shall persist until the people’s voices are heard, when the SPP is put to a public referendum.

   I watched the movie this evening and I found it very intersting and it was very well produced. It’s amazing what 3 guys and a camera can do in 1 year!!! Good Job! Maybe see you guys back out at Queens Park soon!!

   I find the presence of these “police” goons to be disgusting. the scene looks like it took place in Washington or Bogota or in some equally forelorn police state. Is this what it means to have a right wing “conservative” government? If so give me the venal, stupid and corrupt Liberals anytime. At least with them you know where you stand, not like the “conservatives” where you don’t know if you will be truncheoned, tasered or just plain shot for not agreeing with their destruction of all we hold dear as Canadians.

   Conservative, wrong. It was Prime minister Martin (Liberal)who started all of this crap. We are one people, not conservative, liberals or NDP’s. We are all getting screwed by these three political parties, and the sad thing, it’s our fault, because we don’t suport any alternative. Same old, same old. Shame on us

   Pretty much, I consider that America died in 1913 and we must finally open our eyes to it so we can take it back. It is amazing how almost every American Citizen is almost 100% dependent on government services. If we didn’t have supermarkets or surplus foods, most of us wouldn’t know how to grow crops or find food. That is a long trek backwards from the beginning of the first millennia, where most human beings knew some form of independent survival since by the time they reached five or ten years old. We have to go back to the way of the land. It is the only way to survive. The land is our freedom. Otherwise you will forever be a slave, or is like to put it, a domesticated human being.

   Get out of the cities. They are death traps. You can’t grow food on concrete.
