As I am an imperfect person, I choose not to pass judgement on them. That is not the purpose of my comments. The purpose of my comments is this. If the individual who ran for the office of President made certain promises, committed himself to certain ideals and goals, and assured us of a new, better direction for this country, but then, after his election it is revealed that he does not intend to keep to his commitments and the direction he proposed... Since he has not been yet sworn into office as President of the United States of America, if we the Citizens of the United States of America believe that he will not be true to his word and/or will not lead this country in the positive direction we want it to go in, are We the People not within our rights to refuse to allow him to be sworn in? Are we not within our rights to strip him of his title of President-Elect and call for a new President? I know that calling for a new election could pose some significant problems, but is accepting someone we do not believe would be a good President worth saving ourselves a short-term headache associated with a re-election?
