Thousands of Troops Are Deployed on U.S. Streets Ready to Carry Out “Crowd Control”

Background: the First Brigade of the Third Infantry Division, three to four thousand soldiers, has been deployed in the United States as of October 1. Their stated mission is the form of crowd control they practiced in Iraq, subduing “unruly individuals,” and the management of a national emergency. I am in Seattle and heard from the brother of one of the soldiers that they are engaged in exercises now. Amy Goodman reported that an Army spokesperson confirmed that they will have access to lethal and non lethal crowd control technologies and tanks.
George Bush struck down Posse Comitatus, thus making it legal for military to patrol the U.S. He has also legally established that in the “War on Terror,” the U.S. is at war around the globe and thus the whole world is a battlefield. Thus the U.S. is also a battlefield.
He also led change to the 1807 Insurrection Act to give him far broader powers in the event of a loosely defined “insurrection” or many other “conditions” he has the power to identify. The Constitution allows the suspension of habeas corpus — habeas corpus prevents us from being seized by the state and held without trial — in the event of an “insurrection.” With his own army force now, his power to call a group of protesters or angry voters “insurgents” staging an “insurrection” is strengthened.

U.S. Rep. Brad Sherman of California said to Congress, captured on C-Span and viewable on YouTube, that individual members of the House were threatened with martial law within a week if they did not pass the bailout bill:
“The only way they can pass this bill is by creating and sustaining a panic atmosphere. … Many of us were told in private conversations that if we voted against this bill on Monday that the sky would fall, the market would drop two or three thousand points the first day and a couple of thousand on the second day, and a few members were even told that there would be martial law in America if we voted no.”
If this is true and Rep. Sherman is not delusional, I ask you to consider that if they are willing to threaten martial law now, it is foolish to assume they will never use that threat again. It is also foolish to trust in an orderly election process to resolve this threat. And why deploy the First Brigade? One thing the deployment accomplishes is to put teeth into such a threat.
I interviewed Vietnam veteran, retired U.S. Air Force Colonel and patriot David Antoon for clarification:
“If the President directed the First Brigade to arrest Congress, what could stop him?”
“Nothing. Their only recourse is to cut off funding. The Congress would be at the mercy of military leaders to go to them and ask them not to obey illegal orders.”
“But these orders are now legal?’”
“Correct.”
“If the President directs the First Brigade to arrest a bunch of voters, what would stop him?”
“Nothing. It would end up in courts but the action would have been taken.”
“If the President directs the First Brigade to kill civilians, what would stop him?”
“Nothing.”
“What would prevent him from sending the First Brigade to arrest the editor of the Washington Post?”
“Nothing. He could do what he did in Iraq — send a tank down a street in Washington and fire a shell into the Washington Post as they did into Al Jazeera, and claim they were firing at something else.”
“What happens to members of the First Brigade who refuse to take up arms against U.S. citizens?”
“They’d probably be treated as deserters as in Iraq: arrested, detained and facing five years in prison. In Iraq a study by Ann Wright shows that deserters — reservists who refused to go back to Iraq — got longer sentences than war criminals.”
“Does Congress have any military of their own?”
“No. Congress has no direct control of any military units. The Governors have the National Guard but they report to the President in an emergency that he declares.”
“Who can arrest the President?”
“The Attorney General can arrest the President after he leaves or after impeachment.”
[Note: Prosecutor Vincent Bugliosi has asserted it is possible for District Attorneys around the country to charge President Bush with murder if they represent districts where one or more military members who have been killed in Iraq formerly resided.]
“Given the danger do you advocate impeachment?”
“Yes. President Bush struck down Posse Comitatus — which has prevented, with a penalty of two years in prison, U.S. leaders since after the Civil War from sending military forces into our streets — with a ’signing statement.’ He should be impeached immediately in a bipartisan process to prevent the use of military forces and mercenary forces against U.S. citizens”
“Should Americans call on senior leaders in the Military to break publicly with this action and call on their own men and women to disobey these orders?”
“Every senior military officer’s loyalty should ultimately be to the Constitution. Every officer should publicly break with any illegal order, even from the President.”
“But if these are now legal. If they say, ‘Don’t obey the Commander in Chief,’ what happens to the military?”
“Perhaps they would be arrested and prosecuted as those who refuse to participate in the current illegal war. That’s what would be considered a coup.”
“But it’s a coup already.”
“Yes.”

I guess these solders are giving “freedom” to the Americans like they did in Iraq.
I understand the situation how people has been disappeared from the US since 911.
I hope there would be no mass kills against civilians in their homeland. In Iraq, a guy started shooting or suicidal bombing in the crowd and the army wiped out the entire creature on site. This is an alternative solution for the army to reduce voters.

As far as WALMART goes and Kathy Lee, pretty much everything Returned to SWEATSHOP conditions but because this was fought out on television for weeks, this incident with Kathy Lee Gifford actually took the SWEATSHOP issue to every single part of the country.
And so, frankly, after that, there’s hardly a single person in this country who doesn’t know about child labour or sweatshops or STARVATION wages.

If the U.S. Army acts against the citizens of the U.S., let’s hope that everyone finally identifies the real enemy. We the people, all races and religions have been divided, which has resulted in total government control. It is past time to see that our differences do not make us enemies and that the “divide and conquer” technique was used against us by our government. The enemy of mankind are the governments and religious institutions used for the sole purpose of control.

Well, ladies and gentlemen we’re not here to indulge in fantasy but in political and economic reality. America, America has become a second-rate power. Its trade deficit and its fiscal deficit are at nightmare proportions.
Now, in the days of the free market when our country was a top industrial power, there was accountability to the stockholder. The Carnegies, the Mellons, the men that built this great industrial empire, made sure of it because it was their money at stake.

Let me try to understand that the U.S. is about
to use ENRON accounting to take all the bad debt off the banks books? The taxpayers don’t have that much money for the next five generations. I was looking at where all the upside was in the markets and sorry but it did not make a lot of sense to me. Yesterday I was felling the pain of about a 40% loss in my net worth and today I wake up to find I may be billions in the hole and I may not know for months. I guess it is time to believe in fairy tales.

Each one of us needs to take it upon ourselves to indiviually bitch slap his monkey ass directly in the grill with the Constitution of the United States of America, a document that he obviously has little respect for. Given his classification of said document as a “GD piece of toilet paper”, he has certainly attempted to wipe his ass with it. The guy needs to be taken out. If every single truther out there pledged to march on D.C. tomorrow they could not possibly stop us. Everyone in California, Oregon & Washington state need to start the movement & start heading east. The rest of us will join you on the way & the entire nation will be knocking on George Bush’s doorstep within a week or two. Somehow, I don’t think even he could ignore that.

I think we may be heading to something akin to a civil war. I would warn people NOT to fight with police or military people in any way. Most are just like you and I and are under discipline. Many can be made your allies too. I (and others) busted the chops of some communists back in the 60’s carrying Viet Cong flags in a parade. As I walked away a creep ran to a cop and pointed me out as a perp. The cop told him “I just got here, I didn’t see a thing”. If trouble comes, recruit police and military to your side. Don’t provoke them.

I would say no violence is 100% part of the solution. The government wants violence as justification to use extreme force in return. I have no doubt at all that they will wipe out 100’s of innocent people and then blame it back on the violent public in demonstrations
With military personnel, unfortunately we and even they are not aware of drugs or even micro-chips they are under the influence of.

“FEMA sources confirm coming martial law”

WMR has learned from knowledgeable Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) sources that the Bush administration is putting the final touches on a plan that would see martial law declared in the United States with various scenarios anticipated as triggers. The triggers include a continuing economic collapse with massive social unrest, bank closures resulting in violence against financial institutions, and another fraudulent presidential election that would result in rioting in major cities and campuses around the country.
In addition, Army Corps of Engineer sources report that the assignment of the 3rd Infantry Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team (BCT) to the Northern Command’s U.S. Army North is to augment FEMA and federal law enforcement in the imposition of traffic controls, crowd control, curfews, enhanced border and port security, and neighborhood patrols in the event a national emergency being declared. The BCT was assigned to duties in Iraq before being assigned to the Northern Command.
On April 3, 2008, WMR reported on a highly-classified document regarding the martial law scenario: WMR has learned from knowledgeable sources within the US financial community that an alarming confidential and limited distribution document is circulating among senior members of Congress and their senior staff members that is warning of a bleak future for the United States if it does not quickly get its financial house in order. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is among those who have reportedly read the document. The government does not own the Constitution, therefore cannot destroy or negate it. The military is in for a bit of a surprise when gunfights break out between them and people they harass. I think after a certain amount of violence the posse comitatus laws will be restored. Military commanders do not want to attack American citizens. They will deploy as ordered and some may try to strongarm civilians and hope all goes well, but there will come a time when it won’t go well.

However, if people are dooped into believing the President can change it by Executive Orders, then it is, as king Bush II has already stated, “just a piece of paper.” By the way, Executive orders are non-binding and unconstitutional. Yet, they are obeyed without a second thought. Likewise with Posse Comitatus, it should still be binding and in place. However look at Waco, this was before Posse Comitatus was weakened and negated. The illegal and totalitarian acts at Waco still occurred without so much of a whisper in protest coming from Congress.
The First Brigade will act in a standoff, whether staged or not, as the military did at Waco. The AIG bailout on top of FANNIE MAE and FREDDIE MAC was bad enough, but now we’re also told that god knows how many more billions of our tax dollars are going to be given to Corporate America to bail CEOs asses from the fire.
These monies are being spun as loans or some other such schemes in which the money will supposedly be repaid to the US taxpayers, but whoever believes that we’ll really see much if any of that money back can buy this bridge I have for sale in a burrough of New York. So billions of my tax dollars are being spent on these freaking welfare queens who supposedly love the system of capitalism, so long as they don’t have to bear the brunt of any of the losses.
Individualize the PROFITS, socialize the LOSSES. Crazy, warped “CAPITALIST” system that I never learned about in econ. The capitalism I studied said that these companies should be left to die like the weak of the herd, because they’ve obviously failed miserably at competing with the others in their market. So this is all happening as the backdrop to an incredibly tragic time for so many people in my area. The local news is reporting that 15 houses are habitable in Bridge City (a town of about 8000 people). The residents of Crystal Beach, Rollover, Gilchrist, and High Island are being refused entry to their homes even to inspect the damage. Parts of SE TEXAS still have floodwaters over the main highways. Beaumont’s water system sustained salt water intrusion damage and is taking longer than expected to repair. Almost 2 MILLION people are still without power, and a good portion of that group is not expected to have power until early October. FEMA has agreed to pay for hotels IF they are on an approved list (because of course there were enough rooms at the “approved” chains to house the more than 500,000 people who evacuated, right?) and only beginning on the 14th for a storm that hit in the early morning hours of the 13th. FEMA is warning people that there will not be any $2000 “bonus” or “giveaway” this time, because of course we all know that people never used that money to repair homes, it was spent on Prada purses and plasma televisions instead. Insurers are so far moving incredibly slowly, telling people that adjusters will not even be out for another 2 or 3 weeks (even for a guy I know who is lucky enough to have a contractor who was ready to start work yesterday).
I can not even find the words to express the depth and breadth of my anger, and I am struggling to even finish this post. I am just incredibly bitter that wealthy, multi-national CORPORATE entities are being treated so much better than my fellow humans. The people of Bolivar and Orange County were not well off for the most part, and it will be very hard for ALL of SE TEXAS for many, many months. We had just finally gotten to the point of feeling “recovered” from Rita, and the blue roofs had by now become *almost* non-existant. The only thing saving my hometown is the petrochemical industry, because without the refineries, we would be dying.
But instead of money being spent to actually help people, we are once again bailing out the essentially unregulated financial sector. You’d think that the feds would at least require additional regulations in exchange for the bailout money, but that would make too much sense to actually have strings attached to billions of tax dollars being given to corporations. We only believe in strings for the $200 in FOOD STAMPS given to the single parent. Because *that’s* the reason my taxes are so high. It’s surreal to watch these events unfolding in the same week, but the bitterness reminds me that this really is happening. And since I have absolutely no representation at any level of government above city council, I just had to complain here instead. Thanks for letting me rant a little.

Im one of them. there are ALOT of soldiers that are more loyal to the constituion than the president. if im ever doing crowd control. you can damn sure bet you wont have too worry about being arrested or shot. Watch your local airports. No matter the size. I have seen military jets coming and going at slow speeds at our local airport in Traverse City Michigan. They fly off to the north east at low speed and altitude.
Others have seen military cargo planes flying from north to south. I have never seen this before, other than at an airshow, but never have i seen these planes land at our airport. Maybe it is nothing. I think something is going on.

When you start to hear gunfire shots nightly in your locality it is time to get serious and organize with your friends and trusted ones. Dont be all by yourself.. Start getting to know your neighbors..I feel there’s gonna be alot of dead people soon. Hearing BOB chapman say there is a 90% chance of a ROAD WARRIOR type situation in this country should be quite alarming.

You’d think the U.S. Army would have enough on it’s plate without adding, use in the enslavement process of its citizens. Then again probably not considering the U.S. is only in Iraq to guard it’s Oil Investments. All and all it’s a pretty sad thought that the people you thanked for serving may end up being the same ones that put an end your exsistance.
