Four people have been reported killed and 60 people have been injured in three blasts that took place in Mumbai, late Wednesday, according to NDTV 24×7.
Three blasts are reported to have occurred at Zaveri bazaar, Dadar Kabootarkhana, and around Opera House. Details are yet to be confirmed.
The blasts were said to have occurred at 7:10 PM within 15 minutes of each other.
NDTV 24×7 has reported that this blast killed 4 people. One blast is reported to have taken place at a meter box at Zaveri Bazaar. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has been dispatched to the sites.
The Home Minsitry has declared the serial blasts to be part of a terrorist attack and has reported the use of improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
Police spokesman Nisar Tamboli told The Indian Express that the first blast took place in Zaveri Bazaar near the Mumbadevi Temple.
