Truthmobile Rides Again – Takoma Park MD Fourth of July Parade

For the fourth year, dc911truth participated in the Takoma Park Fourth of July parade. The group consists of about 30 activists who are dedicated to spreading information about the events of 9/11 and lobbying for a re-investigation of the events of that day.

For the last three years the DC “truthers” have sponsored a float in the Takoma Park, Maryland Fourth of July parade. The group decorates a pickup truck and turns it into the “Truth Mobile” for the event. The theme, “Truth is Patriotic” is meant to remind citizens that there is nothing more patriotic than seeking truth and justice; it’s the American way.

According to Lydia Riley, Takoma Park resident and member of dc911truth, “It’s great to celebrate the 4th of July in a patriotic way and nothing in our day is more patriotic than speaking and spreading the truth. We have found participation in the parade to be a fun and productive way of conveying what the organization wishes citizens to understand.”

In addition to the float, the group passed out 2,000 9/11 flyers and almost 1,000 copies of a special Fourth of July edition of the Rock Creek Free Press newspaper to Takoma Park citizens.

Along with the “Truth Mobile,” an information table was setup where visitors interested in learning more about 9/11 and the dc911truth group can find books, DVDs and other resources.

   Patriotism is devoted love, support, and defense of one’s country; national loyalty.

   Patriotism is not blind obedience to govt authority. In that case you are a “patriot” of the govt authority and NOT your country.

   Here in the U.S., govt authorities that put America-last and globalism over nationalism are simply disloyal. America-first is the ONLY way to go! And the truth shall set you free!

   Throw all the democrat bums out. They are the true communists, not us conservatives. They are orchestrating a systematic “cleansing” of America that benefits the elite, the sheeple who blindly follow them, and scores of illegal immigrants.

   I should have driven to Tacoma Park. Instead I went to a Tea Party in Harford County, MD.I think Ron Paul would have been disgusted hearing his good ideas and real patriotism mixed with neocon American imperialism. Most of the people at that teabag party need to read Ron Paul’s A Foreign Policy of Freedom and chapter two of The Revolution A Manifesto. Typical greedy bastards were all about keeping the government out of their pocketbook, but otherwise were about buisness as usual in respect to foreign policy. I wanted to vomit when I heard the first speaker say our last real president was George W. Bush. I was just as sickened to hear people applauding attacking Iran and North Korea. Sad to say if McCain had won, most of those fly by nite patriots wouldn’t have shown up. My friend that I went with started talking to one of the attendees about Ron Paul and the responce he got was,”Who?” I thought it was a bunch of mainstream media bull about the Republcans taking over these events. Boy, was I wrong. I can’t believe Campaign for Liberty was sponcering this event.

   Maryland…………. residents read this blog…….lets get rid of these bullshit speed cameras……i received a ticket for going 11 miles over the limit….who dosent go 11 miles over at some point ….i wrote to my rep about how i thought it was bull and who i could join in fighting against it…of course they didnt reply but i found it myself
