At least 20 people are feared dead after two trains collided head-on in snowy conditions on the outskirts of Brussels.
The accident happened at Buizingen, about nine miles southwest of Brussels at around 8.30am.
Reports said 20 people were killed but the train line operator was unable to confirm that figure.
“The most recent information we have is that 20 people died,” the mayor of Buizingen Dirk Pieters said on Belgian radio.
