Two More U.S. Military Units Assigned For Homeland Security
Northcom to train 4,700 service members for “specialized domestic operations”

Northcom has announced that two more U.S. military units will be assigned for domestic homeland security missions, bringing the total number of combat ready service members operating inside the U.S. to around 4,700, as fears grow about the increasing militarization of law enforcement.
The announcement follows the controversy surrounding a September 8 Army Times report (revised on September 30), which revealed that the 3rd Infantry Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team, fresh from combat duties in Iraq, would be operating inside America for tasks including “civil unrest and crowd control,” a detail that was later denied by Northcom despite the concession that forces would be armed with both non-lethal and lethal weapons as well as having access to tanks.
“In the next three years the military plans to activate and train an estimated 4,700 service members for specialized domestic operations, according to Air Force Gen. Gene Renuart, commander of U.S. Northern Command, which was created in 2002 for homeland defense missions,” reports the Colorado Independent.
“It’s to help us manage the consequences of a large-scale event,” said Renuart. “We have one [unit] now trained and equipped and assigned to the Northern Command. We’ll grow a second one this calendar year of 2009 and a third one in the calendar year 2010 so we can provide the nation three sets of capabilities that could respond to an event of the size of 9/11 or larger.”
But as Mike German, national security counsel for the American Civil Liberties Union’s legislative office in Washington., D.C., points out, “This isn’t a military police brigade or a civil affairs brigade. This is actually a combat brigade being assigned a domestic mission.”

“It’s fine for the general to say that,” said counter-terrorist operations specialist German. “But we want to know what the policies actually are, what the roles are and what the regulations are to see whether this is actually complying with the law.”
The ACLU has filed a Freedom Of Information Request demanding more information on the purpose and scope of military assets under Northcom control being deployed domestically.
Despite Northcom’s insistence that the deployments are purely related to natural disaster and mass casualty response, the original Army Times report quoted 1st BCT commander Col. Roger Cloutier as saying that the unit would be trained in the use of “nonlethal weapons designed to subdue unruly or dangerous individuals” for the purposes of “crowd and traffic control”.
The use of U.S. troops in law enforcement duties is a complete violation of the Posse Comitatus Act and the Insurrection Act, which substantially limit the powers of the federal government to use the military for law enforcement unless under precise and extreme circumstances.
Section 1385 of the Posse Comitatus Act states, “Whoever, except in cases and under circumstances expressly authorized by the Constitution or Act of Congress, willfully uses any part of the Army or the Air Force as a posse comitatus or otherwise to execute the laws shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.”
Under the John Warner Defense Authorization Act, signed by President Bush on October 17, 2006, the law was changed to state, “The President may employ the armed forces to restore public order in any State of the United States the President determines hinders the execution of laws or deprives people of a right, privilege, immunity, or protection named in the Constitution and secured by law or opposes or obstructs the execution of the laws of the United States or impedes the course of justice under those laws.”
However, these changes were repealed in their entirety by HR 4986: National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2008, reverting back to the original state of the Insurrection Act of 1807. Despite this repeal, President Bush attached a signing statement saying that he did not feel bound by the repeal.
Fears of active duty military assets being called upon to administer martial law in the aftermath of an economic collapse or a large scale terrorist attack were heightened after we revealed the existence of a FEMA-run program which is training Pastors and other religious representatives to become secret police enforcers who teach their congregations to “obey the government” in preparation for a declaration of martial law, property and firearm seizures, and forced relocation.
Debunkers and “urban myth” websites - such as The Museum of Hoaxes - dismissed the story as a hoax, yet it was later confirmed in triplicate by mainstream news reports.

What makes them think that troops here will be any more effective the the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan?
I think they will be less so becuase American troops cannot be counted on to fire on Americans unless they think their life is threatened.
Use this in your tactics. Give them a chance to escape or join our side. Many American soldiers will frag the commanders that give orders to fire on American citizens, others won’t but we have to work with our natural allies here.
Remember they are only following orders, don’t take them down unless there is no other choice.

We didn’t need the military to help with 9/11. First responders, EMS and rescue worker did a damn good job without the military pushing people around and F’ing everything up. In fact, if the military wasn’t playing games on the morning of 9/11, it would have never happen. Americans can take care of distasters without the help of the Feds, and especially without the “aid” of federal troops.
4,700 troops is nothing, even with tanks. I don’t know what area they intend to control with such a small number. Patriots and militia men, minutemen, watchmen, state and home guards would outnumber them 10:1… 15:1 once Obamessiah takes the throne. What are they going to do - start shelling and calling in air strikes on small towns and big cities that resist?!

Well first of all, many Americans should go on a diet and shed some fastfoodcornsyrupmsgfluoride crap they have ingested over the last couple of decades.
The average Patriot of Valley Forge back then bears little resemblence to the pot belly types of today. They walked barefoot in the snow till their feet froze off. They were tough.
Anyway, stockpile guns and ammo. SKS and Mosin Nagants make cheap surplus weapons you can buy hide. Also, buy AS MUCH AMMO as you can. A gun without ammo is useless.

Also Rockefeller was the Governor of New York State and it would be my guess that Attica is in the New York State and the assassins there were in the pay of New York State.

What does God have to do with power hungry religious leaders? Not very much. He’s more like Jesus, compassionate, loving, gentle and peaceful.
If religion espoused those traits there would be no wars and no killing. Don’t blame God for man’s foibles.
Truth be told, we have a world that WE CREATED. We propagated and we wanted. At some point or another we have all created this mess and we are the ones to fix it.
God won’t fix it. It’s up to us. He didn’t create the mess, man did. When we stand up UNITED and say no to the dark entities running the show, the nightmare will be over. Luckily I don’t live in a federal jurisdiction and State of the United States. I live in the state of California. There is a difference between the State of California (federal jurisdiction) and the state of California (state jurisdiction).
They have muddied the waters so heavily with their legal jargon that nobody understands what they’ve done.
If you live at an address with a zip code, you are admitting to living WITHIN the federal United States. I don’t - my lease doesn’t have a zip code because I am not a federal citizen, I do not live in a zip code zone (also IRS zones).
It’s frustrating because people keep updating their databases and adding the zip code to my address. I AM A FREE PERSON NOT A CREATION OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.

How many people have you persuaded to believe that 9/11 was an inside job? I bet you lost a lot of family and friends over that topic not to mention being tarred and feathered. Martial Law will only be declared when the Congress declares war on the rights of the people as spelled out in the Bill of Rights. The founding fathers had insight into a time when we would have the right to redress grievances. They knew that eventually the govt would become corrupt and it would be the right of the people to alter or abolish it. This change should not be made for light or transient reasons. If riots do occur this summer due to economic conditions it will just remind me of the riots of the 60’s and not revolution. According to the constitution the govt has the right to stifle domestic insurrection with military force. Even President Washington sent troops to quell rebellion. From a governmental point of view they have precedence on their side. Look at what Lincoln did at the start of the Civil War or Roosevelt after Pearl Harbor. Don’t be too quick to ‘lock and load’ as you would not last long anyway against regulars. Doing some preparations for survival is good. In this world of WMD anything could happen.

Your points are well taken. I’m not sure Kent state qualifies since it was panic National Guard troops, but I happen to be a retired veteran and I can tell you for certain that American Troops will resist, not all of them by any means but enough.
Throughout history, government have always used foreign born troops to patrol the home territory becuase homeland born troops cannot be counted on the fire on their own neighbors, friends and family. Hitler knew this the Caesars knew this, but our government os so arrogant they think they can do anything, Masters of the Universe.
What scares me more than American troops is Obama’s army of brainwashed youth. THEY will have no qualms whatsoever.

they just had a “training exercise” in my parts in ontario canada. right in the middle of a town. the local ‘news’ showed armed infantry doing a checkpoint on local residents coming back into town. the ‘news’ said they were simply advising unaware residents of what was going on. funny is it the role of armed military to tell citizens there is suddently training exercise? they were walking right up to cars rifle in hand. thats the role of the police not armed military. it was a conditioning training in my opinion to get military used to confronting their own citizens while armed and to get citizens used to the idea. it was very strange

I’m sure a small minority will disobey orders and go AWOL, most won’t. You better be prepared to kill one and take his gun, ammo, body armor, and even uniform (whatever you have time for) if you get a chance, though. You don’t have the luxury of wondering whether or not the one you killed was CONSIDERING not killing you. Maybe he was, maybe he wasn’t. It’s sad, but it’s either you or him. Just remember, you can LIVE with remourse and regret, but you can’t feel anything if you’re DEAD.

Why are you so adamant that trying to kill one of our soldiers is good. Most are young people who actually do have families they will be worried about. Most people, even if they have a weapon are not prepared to use it nor how to use it. It is better to have the soldier on your side than to hurt him. I am against this type of rebellion until it is absolutely necessary and we are not even close. Stop this type of outlandish diatribe. Just prepare yourself for eventualities of disaster and the rest will happen when it does, but as for now I would not be your friend with that type of attitude. All will happen in its own time.

Yes, they do have these types of detention facilities. It has been proven to me, however with the NWO controlling events only the Lord God and the salvation he gives freely should we ask, can keep us free if not physically then spiritually. Prepare, yes. Why would you want to hurt US forces with IED’s. By the way with what weapons Americans possess these can not be called anything but lightly armed, not heavily armed. The army is heavily armed and you will not be able to stand against them.
The courts have already negated the US constitution. Keep in mind that currently we need only a couple of more states to call a constitutional convention and when that happens we can kiss all of our rights goodbye and hello to the World Court and the UN.

If you go on the CDC website, you can see where flouridated water is. Funny how most of them (1.0ppm<) involve large cities (L.A., Denver, etc.) & all towns/cities that have military bases. The larger question is why there’s no information about flouridated water for D.C., New Mexico, Alaska, Hawaii, & any of the US territories such as Puerto Rico & the Virgin Islands. The only one that included a warning for kids under 8 to drink H2O from a different source was Dam Neck Naval Base where the water’s flouridated to a level of 2.0. How many of you would believe that flouride assists with mind control? Also, please consider that the troops stationed in the US have been in Iraq &/or Afghanistan for 18-20 months straight training with non-lethal crowd control weapons; most are very sophisticated. Consider the one that emits intense heat. guns are made of metal, so should we all start playing Hot Potato as practice?

These are not extrajudicial rather they are executive orders. And all presidents have used them. These can also be repealed by succeeding presidents as Obama is doing and instituting his own.

Allow me to confirm what I stumbled on. I listen to the local Police/Fire scanner in Denver. Nothing secretive - usually cars stolen, kids misssing, domestics, building alarms tripping. The serious stuff gets switched to a private channel. And I don’t mind that at all. That’s the way it should be. If I’m listening so, potentially are the bad guys and gals.
What got me last Friday was a police communique about how a “Homeland Security Agent” had a drunk and disorderly man that he was holding. The police discussed it matter of factly, but I went “Whoa” - the Northcom are here and I find it hard to believe it’s for some guy who’s had too many brewskis. This is proof to me at least that possee commitatus is a thing of the past and these Northcom agents are being placed for something big and something very serious and I think very soon (within the next 90 days). It’s almost been predicted by the likes of Big Mouth Biden and others. God help us!

I saw this guy ,…”Air Force Gen. Gene Renuart”… last week on CSPA2. He is scary , like Michael Hadden on steroids.
He speaks in glib terms of ..”modalities, etc etc,…interfacing with, blah, blah,blah”…with totally no regard to our tradtion of Posse Comitatus, not using our troops against our people. @alex Thanks! Just wanted to note that our troops did fire on Americans. I just tried to list a few examples. I believe that unless there is something obvious that will bother them, our troops will clear out an area if they are ordered to do it.
I was an army brat myself so I’m not totally ignorant of the military. They get shipped all over different states which are sort of foreign to them. The Chinese emperors did this.

The problem is all the non-us citizens being recruited to serve in units of the us army just to win citizenship. They have NO ties to any community or this country. Likewise the Mercs in Blackwater or other outfits that are guns for hire. I think it is time for ALL US Military Personnel to sit down and truthfully examine what their Oath to the CONSTITUTION REALLY MEANS, BOTH TO THEM, AND TO THE COUNTRY THEY SERVE.

I like how it shows 101st Airborne soldiers in that photo. I’m in the 101st Airborne, currently deployed in Afghanistan. Infantry, trained to kill.
Most American’s wouldn’t be prepared to fight against the US Army. Especially 3rd ID who’s first in line in NorthCom. My SST who was in OIF 1 told me stories of those guys. They didn’t even have to fire at the Iraqis. They just ran their fire positions over. Ran em over like little bugs. What do American’s have against heavy armor? Most states are allowed any kind of Armor Piercing rounds. What good will you do? Most Americans can’t even get full automatic weapons. What good will you do against a convoy of up armored HMMWV with M2 50 cals and MK19 40mm automatic grenade launchers and air support? At least Afghanis are allowed an AK and an RPG per household.
If the time comes and an order like that is given, I will go AWOL. I will grab my body armor and weapon with as much ammo as I can and protect my wife and daughter. Do they expect me do follow their orders in all out fire fight while my wife and daughter has to fend for themselves? They are fucking nuts if they think that. I will not fight against American civilians while my wife and daughter are in the line of fire from my own troops. I’d rather die then leave them to fend for themselves.

Historically speaking or not, just from a general overview of my own small unit, I’d say it could be 50/50. I’ll take those odds. Hell I know one that said if TSHTF he’d head over to the AHA (Ammo Holding Area) and get as much ammo and explosives as he can steal. =)
There are enough to worry about but it’s far from hopeless. We all have families and friends in the civilian world. There’s no way in hell I’d fire on them. I know some good tactics to teach the revolutionist too =)

You are correct in part with one exception. As I had taught Basic Rifle Skills, I always instructed young recruits that if you have to rely on full auto then you are not going to hit what you aim at. Furthermore this will not be house to house. The military can secure the cities but come to the countryside and they will be handed thier lunch. All we have to do is starve them out…remember the country side is where the food is grown.
Fact is that you do not have the same weapon that I used during my 20 of active. yours is reduced to 3 round burst IE the M4. The effective range of your weapon has also been reduced due to the reduction of barrel length. This means that the accuracy falls below 50% beyond 200 meters, where is there are 80 million M1 Garands in civilian hands able to be fired accurately to ranges in excess of 800 meters with battle sites.
Lets look at the average Deer Hunter which there are 65 million as of last years count. The average deer hunter prides him/herself with grouping shots inside a dime…this is the equivalent of havign 65 million snipers out there.
Next issue is that every year Marines and Soldiers leave the Service for civilian life, they dont forget thier training or thier abilities. As an Example I will use myself. I was a Ranger for 17.5 of my 20 years of active duty. I finished 2nd in my class from JFK SWS at Bragg. I went on to become a LRRP. I never forgot my training, and am more than capable of training others to be hunter/killers.
If what is feared does accually occure, my suggestion to any despot or dictator is to bring a whole lot of body bags because there is a rifle behind every blade of grass, and there is no way possible that the 3rd ID or any other group can even start to take them all.
