US prosecutors have released video footage of a sheriff’s deputy kicking a 15-year-old girl, pulling her hair and throwing her onto a cell floor.
The surveillance video was released in the assault case against Deputy Paul Schene, who is accused of using excessive force on the girl.
Schene, 31, pleaded not guilty to fourth-degree assault on Thursday.
The incident last November began after the girl was brought in for a car theft investigation, according to court documents.
The footage shows the attack beginning after the girl enters the cell at suburban SeaTac City Hall and kicks off one of her shoes toward the deputy.
‘We believe this case is beyond just police misconduct, it’s criminal misconduct,’ King County Prosecutor Daniel Satterberg said. ‘This is clearly excessive force.’
Schene was investigated previously for shooting two people – killing one – in the line of duty in 2002 and 2006.
Both times his actions were found to be justified, said Ian Goodhew, prosecutor’s deputy chief of staff.

I work with disturbed kids with many issues and have been assaulted on many occasions. I’m a trained professional and I would never assault a kid. What’s really sad Paul is that this incident with the teenage girl happened to be videotaped. Who knows how many incidents like this one has gone on and haven’t been caught of camera. The acts of police brutality have been on the rise, and usually the police get away with it. Why, because they have a badge, and are protected by other cops and the local government. That’s sad, Paul.

Though I have my quarrels with the established order and with the horrible direction in which our once-great nation is headed, I have to, at least partially, agree with Dan. Not EVERYONE is out to get you. Yes, our government is being hijacked by elitist pigs with some sense of self-importance and might-is-right mentalities, but not everyone in government is evil. Not all police are evil. Sadly, large proportion of police are walking piles of testosterone, but not all of them. Unfortunately, in the society we live in, we do need a police force to protect the law-abiding citizenry from the perverts and the psychos, but what we DO NOT need are men (and women) who feel that a badge is an indestructable shield behind which they can claim immunity to law. Police are servants of the people and should behave as such.

Where the cop has already lost his case is when he was on top of her and punched her in the head. He might have gotten away with it except for that obvious head punching when she was obviously subdued. No excuse for it. Honestly the cops should be treated 10 times the force they used against that girl.. starting with completely stripping them down, hanging them by the hands and splayed legs, tying there gonads to the floor with 20 pound wieghts, and slowly (ever so slowly) and with audio and video running that is being broadcasted through the entire country for all the other sick yin-yangs in uniform to see have their flesh “stripped” in long small slices from their hide, strips that do not take it down to the flesh (OH NO) but to the last layer of skin left, then start in another area, all the while broadcasting it..

I just found out about this from a video on Youtube and posted about it on both of my blogs. These type of things need all the attention they can get, the more attention something like this gets the more likely it doesn’t just get brushed off.
In my opinion he should lose his job and not be allowed to work as a police officer again, and jail time as well because it wasn’t even an adult, she was only 15!

Anyone who has worked with kids knows that when they go in lockdown, they are required to give their shoes so that they will not be able to run…she was merely following the protocol that she had learned…it is expected that she is to give her shoes BEFORE they lock the door…cops need to be instructed in basic juvenile care…this is unbelievable!
