That’s what Happened in Faluja. And Somalia(black Hawk down) The Troops and Blackwater Kept cowardly Marrauding through gunning down civilians until the people stopped being scared and Fought back.Any smart cop when that day comes will burn his uniform and pray he did no wrong to the people he or she was supposed to be serving.

what if i want to protest against having to get govt permission before i protest?

perpetuating the very fear of noncompliance that allows this system to continue.
the reality of the situation is that this man was removed with minimum fuss from protesting against a system that can remove objectors with the same amount of minimum fuss or challenge to their actions.
you sir, are a compliant, little minded coward- the police were nice? probably as they are used to crushing dissent with little more than a threatening look; precisely because of yours and many others apathetic attitude toward a totalitarian state where unconcerned and routine suppression of dissent is considered the norm.

Rob your post reminded me of something in the book of Jonah in the bible. It took being swalloed by a whale, for God to make Jonah obey him, and preach to Nineveh. In the end, however, God decided not to destroy Nineveh after all, which enraged Jonah. God says to Jonah, in Jonah 4;11, the last verse in the book....'' And should I not spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?" That is very funny, right? God's humor. Well, when I talk to God about this present situation, I always mention to him the fact that a huge number of the young generation have been ''dumbed down'' by drug and alcohol abuse, to the point where I wonder if some of them I have known even possess one good brain cell. I know, of course, that God is very much aware of that condition in America. I believe that an awful lot of people on their knees, praying for our country, could do a world of good. It might even turn it around. I mean, try to number the people within this country who abuse drugs and alcohol. They arent going to become any army which would be worth two cents. They even need help figuring where their next meal is coming from, it never occurs to them that if they dont work, that means they dont eat. That fact consistantly eludes them. When I try to talk to any of them about the situation of our country, my words are met with only a ''blank stare''. Yeah, I know them, I know a lot of them, ....they call me ...''Mom''. That being because much of the time I am the only place they can come..and they do. Thats how I know how hard it is to get them up off their behinds to do anything at all for themselves. No, these Im speaking of, arent going to march, protest, fight, form an army, or march to Washington. They are going to continue to live as they do, think as they do, until they end up ''wherever''. A lot of our younger strength in our country, is right there. A great percentage of it is in ''ZombiLand''. God knows that, and I also happen to have had certain experiences which tells me that God LOVES these people! As I pray, I rremind him of that, and that as a country which much defend itself, we have a ''disability'' in them. Most of them couldn't distinguish between ''their right hand or their left''.....because they even have trouble tying their own shoelaces. I believe that when Saten came down in great wrath, and began to ''weaken the nations'',for his final war....he centered much of his attention upon America, because we were free people, patriotic people, moral people, [to a point], and back then, even a Christian people. Today we could be compared to Sodom and Ghomorrah, and we didnt get there all by ourselves, we had Saten's ''help''. THE PRAYERS OF ONE RIGHTEOUS MAN, ACCOMPLISHES MUCH'', the bible says. There is a certain HOPE there, if people would only recognize it. ASK FOR GOD'S MERCY UPON AMERICA!!! We arent going to win this war, all by ourselves.

This is not productive. They are just looking for trouble. The cops were nice, they explained clearly they just needed a simple permit before hand.
Law is stupid, but have some common sense. Be productive. Cops are working bots like the rest of us trying to feed our families too.
